Chapter 395: Welcome back.
Sasha and Amaryllis watched the Lord at his peak as an omnipotent being who ruled over the universe. The angels as his servants and the demons as the temptations of the living beings, creating a unique cycle of life and death in any existence.
It was nothing out of the ordinary until the time came when the Lord felt the abyss of existence that had been lurking under his skin. It was the same as the previous worlds that Amaryllis had seen and discovered, nothing looked different. But she realized it was different the moment the Lord imprisoned the abyss instead of getting rid of it.
Amaryllis was curious and decided to look at it from up close, wondering what made the Lord decide to imprison the abyss. She listened to the conversation between the Lord and the archangels about the prophecy that the Lord himself said.
"The end of time," Amaryllis said under her breath as she looked at the Lord. "You knew you couldn't get rid of it and understood what kind of existence the abyss was, but how did you know?" She continued.
"I had the same thought as you, and it seems you didn't notice it as well like me back then," Sasha said as she looked at the abyss that had grown so much it could devour the Lord's kingdom whole. "Let's take it back to the beginning again, and make sure you pay attention to the Lord the moment he was created," she pointed out and rewound the time.
Amaryllis watched Aevia staring at the clock as she moved all the needles to the top. She decided to approach Aevia because she could hear a faint whisper coming from Aevia's mouth. She had an amazing hearing and it would be impossible not to hear anything that could make a sound, but she couldn't hear Aevia for the first time.
She kept walking closer and closer until she had to put her left ear next to Aevia's face who was still busy setting the clock. When she heard what Aevia was whispering, that was when she felt cold on her feet and all the way up to her hair. The chill that she had never felt in her whole life, was something that made her tremble in disbelief.
"Amaryllis, Sasha, Elena... Amaryllis, Sasha, and Elena..." Aevia whispered as she looked at the clock. "You two came to see the past and find a way to defeat me. Isn't that right, Amy? Sasha?" She glanced and stared at both Sasha and Amaryllis. "As a matter of fact, you both can enjoy your time watching this because the moment you find out the truth, it will be over for you," she chuckled and then continued setting the clock.
Amaryllis collapsed because she was petrified and shocked that Aevia spoke to them. Her mind went blank, and Aevia kept whispering their names over and over like a broken record. She realized that everything that happened and what was happening, it was all according to Aevia's plan.
"Do you understand why I don't have the courage to see the rest?" Sasha asked as she tried to comfort Amaryllis by putting her hands on Amaryllis' shoulders. "My reaction was worse, and you handle it quite well," she said.
Amaryllis' body was still trembling uncontrollably, and she didn't have the strength to open her mouth. She was so scared that all her clones collapsed and they all couldn't handle the situation.
"I know that you're in shock, but open your ears and listen to what Aevia is about to say next," Sasha warped her arms around Amaryllis's neck and tried to calm Amaryllis down.
Amaryllis slowly looked up and stared at Aevia with her ears wide open.
"That was quite the reaction," Aevia chuckled as she cleaned the needles and paid attention to detail. "I'll give you two options. The first one is for you to get out of here and the outcomes might be, acceptable. Or the second one where you keep watching this whole memory and find out the truth. But that truth will make you lose everything, and that everything is Mykel," she suggested.
Amaryllis was frozen still like a broken machine, but since Sasha was behind her and gave comfort, she snapped back to reality immediately. She then tried to digest the options Aevia offered her and which one she should take.
"She might be bluffing, but what if she's not?" Sasha looked at Aevia and that question had been haunting her mind. "We are the ones to decide whether we make the whole thing fail or succeed," she added.
"We lost contact with both Elena and Mykel. That might be her plan as well, separate them from us who will know the truth. She believes if those two aren't with us, she still has an upper hand, and that's one of the tricks she hides under the sleeve," Amaryllis pointed out as she tried to stand up with Sasha's help.
"Yes, that's what I'm thinking as well. She knew that we couldn't decide anything without those two, and the choice is in our hands," Sasha nodded her head as she slowly removed her hands from Amaryllis' shoulders after she was sure that Amaryllis could stand on her own.
They both knew that they couldn't decide which one was the best choice they would be.
"I was looking for both of you. Luckily your clone told me where you both are," Luciel landed and looked at Aevia.
Luciel had seen the whole truth about Mykel, Sasha, Elena, and Amaryllis when she looked at the memories of her world. She listened to Aevia's conversation with Mykel and how Aevia put a leash on his neck, turning him into an obedient servant. She was convinced and glad that she decided to join Sasha and Amaryllis because she didn't want to end up like that.
I found my world, and that's the reason why I came here to find you two, but it seems that something happened here," Luciel looked at Sasha's and Amaryllis' troubled expressions.
"I see, let's bring them all back," Amaryllis nodded with understanding. "This might be a good time for us to watch Mykel and what he did in that world, Sasha," she pointed out.
Sasha understood what Amaryllis was saying, and it was for them to think like Mykel. They had to do it and had to pretend to be like Mykel and see things through Mykel's perspective. That would help them decide whether to find out the truth or ignore it, and it would be great if Jeanne and the others were to see it as well. Those people had been with Mykel the longest, and they would know what to do with reasons.

The three of them went to Luciel's world to take Jeanne's and the other's memories from that world. Amaryllis easily copied all of their traits the moment they were created as small children in a vast garden.
"I never thought your world started like this," Amaryllis looked at the children and they all looked so cute. "Do you still remember this moment?" She looked at Luciel.
"Who doesn't? Everyone remembered this moment as the most precious moment in their whole lives. The Mother was the one who took care of all of us, and she always used her warmth to stop all of us from fighting each other," Luciel answered and saw the Mother keeping an eye on everyone in the garden, in a red dress with floating shawls around her shoulders and arms.
Amaryllis and Sasha watched the memories and they both were furious when they found out how Aevia treated Mykel. But, they realized he didn't do anything not because he couldn't, it was because he was trying not to attract too much attention.
After they had reached the latest record of that world, it was enough for Amaryllis to recreate Jeanne and the others using those memories she captured. She then combined the memories of Jeanne and the others from the original world with the memories from the new world. She used her clones' bodies as the base and then gave them Jeanne's and the others their powers back, both in the original world and from the new world.
"What's the limit of your power? You're too powerful to be left alone..." Luciel was stunned when she watched Amaryllis do her work.
"My power is limitless, but my only purpose is to serve Mykel because he's the one who made me," Amaryllis answered.
Luciel hummed and still couldn't believe that she witnessed the complexity of creation was like flipping a hand.
"It's done..." Amaryllis snapped her fingers after she brought Jeanne and the others back to life by only using the memories.
Jeanne opened her eyes and then looked at Sasha and Amaryllis. She was the first to open her eyes, and she looked confused and lost about where she was. She then started to remember everything from the moment she was born in the novel world up to the point she was killed by Luciel.
"Welcome back, everyone," Amaryllis looked at Jeanne and the others who had regained their memories and got used to their bodies.
