Destroying My Own World

Chapter 391: Golden white.

Sasha and Luciel couldn't find the Archive or the clock that controlled the flow of the world. The clock was supposed to be big and visible, and yet they couldn't see anything but whiteness. They knew it would take forever to find the Archive, and their only option was to find the clock and watch the stream flow into the Archive's place.

"She must have suspected that you would turn your back on her. That was why she didn't tell you where it was, and why she didn't give you any power," Sasha pointed out as she kept searching for the clock. "The worst case scenario is that she let me come here on purpose and trapped me in this place," she added.

"That could be the case, and we are basically dancing in her palm, and we won't be able to find those two things no matter how hard we try. She could manipulate this place and make it impossible for us to find them," Luciel responded. "But there's a way to find the clock, but I'm not sure if it's going to work," she looked at Sasha.

"It's better than flying aimlessly since we don't have much time,' Sasha pointed out as she looked at Luciel.

Luciel stopped flying and floated in the sky as she looked around, thinking about it. She hesitated to do it because of the risk and how dangerous it could be, but she had no other choice. She wasn't alone and deep down she wanted this to happen, to become a being that wasn't being controlled by a higher being like Aevia.

"I need you to stop devouring this world with the void. I will try my best to find where the clock is," Luciel said and looked at Sasha.

Sasha nodded with understanding and then stopped the void from devouring the world.

Luciel closed her eyes and released a gentle shockwave around her and then she repeated it over and over like an epicenter. The space around her started to wobble like a pond of water being tapped gently over and over. What she was trying to do was to create a fixed reality around her, a reality where she wanted it to exist.

Sasha looked at her surroundings and felt the change in the space around her. She looked at Luciel who looked troubled to maintain that power, but she believed in Luciel for whatever she was trying to do.

The pulses went as far as they could and that was when something unbelievable happened. The world of whiteness that seemed endless started to shrink, and they both could feel it. Not long after that, suddenly a crack appeared in the space, a crack that was so small that naked eyes couldn't see.

Luciel noticed the crack and she immediately opened her eyes and stared in the direction where the crack appeared. She then flew toward it, leaving Sasha behind because she didn't have time to waste. When she arrived, she used all the strength she had and all the abilities that could enhance her strength. The moment she punched the crack, the reality shattered like an invisible glass, and it shocked Sasha who saw the reality crumble.

"We were right about her, she put us in this place on purpose and whoever win the fight, she doesn't care because none of us could leave this place," Luciel looked so pissed that she was being used like a replaceable toy. "I hope that Elena girl is giving that woman a good beating because if not, I would go there right now and do it myself," she added as she clenched her fists.

"I want the same thing, but it will depend on us. We need to find the clock and the Archive so Amaryllis can start working," Sasha responded as she nodded in agreement. "Let's go, the time is ticking," she continued and then flew in.

Although the world looked the same, they could feel the difference between those two. One felt like an illusion while the other felt real, and they could sense the vastness of the real one.

Amaryllis was sitting in the middle of the garden and put Mykel's head on her lap. She could barely do anything because her body had been fully exposed by Mykel's power. She could only blink her eyes and focus on keeping herself sane while at the same time keeping sharing Mykel's burden.

"Mykel, can you hear me?" Amaryllis said quietly that it was almost like a whisper. "I know that we have prepared for this moment, but our plan isn't going smoothly. We need your help, just a little bit," she continued as she stared into Mykel's pained expression.

"Luciel and Sasha are struggling to find the Archive and their only way to find their way there is by finding the clock, but they can't find it either. Can you tell us how we are going to find the clock?" Amaryllis asked.

Mykel was struggling to keep himself together while getting exposed to two powerful energies that felt familiar. He then heard Amaryllis' voice, and he could hear it clearly about the problem they were having. He knew how to make Luciel and Sasha get to the Archive without having him go there himself.

He wanted to help Elena because he could feel what Elena felt and how she was suffering from the fight. But, he had to prioritize the most crucial part of the plan, and so he decided to let go and let his body get pushed by the energies.

Amaryllis was hoping for a simple response from Mykel's body, but she was startled when she saw Mykel slowly open his eyes. She could see his eyes glowed for a split second and how it emitted such a tremendous amount of power.

Mykel slowly stood up and tried to keep his body under control even though the energy that he released was beyond his control already. He then took a deep breath and spread his six white feathered wings, breaking the barriers that Amaryllis had made to contain his power.

Elestria and the others saw Mykel's current state where his hair had turned golden white. His wings were also golden white, and not to mention that his whole body was radiating golden white energy. It was like a thick mist, slowly falling to the ground, and when it touched the ground, it disintegrated everything.

They wondered what Mykel's face looked like in that kind of form because they could only see the back of his body. When they thought Mykel would look back at them, he flew away at the speed of light, leaving nothing behind.

When they were dazzled by Mykel's appearance, the remaining barriers that were on the brink of shattering shattered. They noticed that Amaryllis was also radiating in golden white energy, her hair had turned white as well, but the difference was she looked like a dying person.

They didn't dare to get close to Amaryllis because of how dangerous that energy was. Suddenly four portals appeared around Amaryllis, and they were shocked when they saw the people that came out of the portals. The people that came out of the portals were Amaryllis' clones, and they immediately created more barriers around them.

They watched how the clones isolated Amaryllis like a patient zero with the deadliest disease in her body. Then the clones sent Amaryllis into the portal carefully as they guarded her back inside the portal.

"My apology for that, let me fix the garden for you," Amaryllis' voice could be heard behind Elestria and the others.

The garden was fixed and the energy that was floating had been taken care of. The palace became safe from it and there wouldn't be any more threat for them and the world they were living in.

"It's better for all of you to go back inside the palace. Something bad might happen soon," Amaryllis said as she stared at the sky. "But you don't have to worry, this planet will be fine, hopefully," she added as she looked at them with a suspicious smile.

They looked at each other as they listened to Amaryllis' warning, and then they went inside the palace. They wondered what she meant by that after they gathered in the dining hall as they looked out the window. They watched Amaryllis staring at the sky without blinking her eyes, but they didn't know that she was creating a barrier to protect the whole planet from destruction.

Mykel remembered that he was planning to fly to outer space, but when he realized where he was, he never thought he had traveled quite far. He could see the universe in front of him was still expanding so slowly from the blast of the supernova of the creation of that world. He was spacing out for a split second and yet he had gone that far, but he was glad he ended up there since it would make things easier for him.

Mykel let the power that he had been holding back inside his body be released. It didn't even take a second for the universe to be covered in white light and it was so bright that it felt like the sun was right on top of Earth. He let out as much energy as he could, and let the whole universe bask in it.

Luciel and Sasha were looking left and right, but then they heard a faint ticking sound. They stopped and looked at each other to make sure they weren't wrong about what they were hearing.

"You hear that?" Sasha raised her eyebrows.

"The sound of the clock. It's moving," Luciel nodded as she looked in the direction where the ticking sound came from. "It's over there. Let's go," she said and then flew as fast as she could toward the sound.
