Chapter 290: Ecstatic.
The abyss was dissatisfied after what Mykel did to them as if they were a hindrance to him. They kept surrounding the platform and around the throne, as they observed Mykel and Sasha. They were like wild predators that would be ready to harm the alpha when the alpha failed to satisfy them.
The moment Mykel put Sasha on the throne, the abyss started to act hostile toward her, but they didn't dare to make a move because Mykel was there. They had observed her long enough to notice she possessed the same power as them which was why they didn't like her.
The abyss wasn't a living being, but they possessed emotions and feelings just like a human being. They were envious of Sasha because she had a soul and at the same time had the same power as them. They wanted to have what they didn't have which was a soul, just like her.
"Leave," Mykel's voice echoed throughout the place.
The abyss didn't listen to his order at first until Mykel suddenly glared at them and they all left hurriedly. It was as he said that he couldn't control his own power, rather than being called a gift, it was more like a curse.
The moment the abyss disappeared, the crystalline around the platform started to glow. It emitted a soft light, not too bright and not too dim, it was so mesmerizing that Sasha couldn't help but stare at them. But that changed the moment she could see silhouettes of souls that were devoured by the abyss inside the crystalline.
"Have you gotten used to the power?" Mykel asked as he sat on the armrest of the throne. "Now that you're here, you have exposed yourself to them. Your world isn't safe now," he pointed out.
"Why did you send her away? She came here to save you, and do you know how much she endured the pain to get here?" Sasha asked with a worried expression and she was angry and sad for Elena.
Mykel hummed as he looked down at his left hand where he touched Elena's chin and caressed her cheek. He took his time before he should answer that question, but then he stared Sasha in the eye as he nodded his head repeatedly.
"She's a strong girl. She should be able to endure loneliness for a moment," Mykel answered as he leaned against the throne. "I have my own reason, but I did that to give myself and her a favor," he continued as he put a cigarette in his mouth.
"In fact, she might only have to wait for a few hours or at most a few days. That depends on how long it would take though," Mykel pointed out and smoked his cigarette.
Although Sasha looked fine, her body was still being crushed by the pressure of Mykel. She somehow managed to endure it and the pain slowly lessened. It was because she was taking a tiny portion of the abyss after she got exposed to it.
"What do you want me to do? You didn't bring me up here just to talk," Sasha asked as she looked at Mykel's lips where the cigarette was hanging on the corner of his lips.
"I'll show you, but you're not strong enough for that. So let's wait here until you adapt to the power," Mykel answered.
It was just silence as Sasha struggled to hold the pain in and on her body.
"How's Mykel?" Mykel asked.
Sasha furrowed her eyebrows because Mykel wasn't someone who would speak for something trivial like that. He was a person who didn't care about other people's lives unless he had a business or interest in them. But then she remembered that Mykel might be feeling the same thing as Elena, loneliness.
"He's fine. He became an editor, just like me," Sasha answered. "He got promoted not long ago, and now he's dealing with famous authors. Who would have thought that he has a talent for that," she continued and smiled even though she was in pain.
"Is that so?" Mykel paused to get up, and then he stood in front of Sasha and leaned his body forward. "Did he end up like me? Appearance wise?" he asked with his eyebrows raised.
Sasha was flustered when she looked at Mykel's flirtatious and manly face that looked totally different from the one she lived with. No matter how much she loved the Mykel from her world, the real Mykel with strong muscles and tattoos that she could see under his shirt was the best thing she had ever had.
"I don't want him to be like you, a playboy," Sasha answered and couldn't resist looking at Mykel's lips.
"You own him, I don't think that would be a problem if you made him only have eyes on you. You can manipulate him and the world, you know?" Mykel pointed out and noticed Sasha was staring at his lips.
"I just want to control my own life. I don't want to control someone else's life. I don't have the heart or the talent for that," Sasha answered as she gulped because Mykel's odor started to fill her head. "I'm satisfied with the life I have right now," she continued.
"Are you really?" Mykel asked as he gently caressed Sasha's cheek. "Which one is better? Me or him?" he added.
Sasha closed her eyes and didn't want to answer that question, but she didn't resist as Mykel caressed her cheek. She was enjoying it because the Mykel in front of her knew how to make a move and when to be aggressive the way she liked it. The Mykel in her world was nothing like him, and she couldn't deny that she missed it.
Mykel suddenly lifted Sasha and it startled her until she realized he wanted to put her in his lap. He sat down and put her on his lap as he rested her head on his left shoulder and made her look at his face. He didn't hesitate to kiss her, and it was something that she was longing for.
"Are you doing this because you were lonely?" Sasha asked in between the kisses.
"No, I miss my woman," Mykel answered without hesitation and started kissing her neck, making her moan in pleasure. "No matter with whom you're with, you will always be my woman," he continued as Sasha started to stroke the back of Mykel's head.
Mykel didn't hesitate to unbutton Sasha's shirt, slipping his right hand in and it was enough to turn her on. He couldn't help but chuckle because he knew every inch of her body and which part could put her in the mood.

"Should I stop?" Mykel asked after he made a mess.
"Are you really asking this now?" Sasha asked back and she was out of breath. "It's been a while, but you're still teasing me like the way you did back then. I don't like it, but I don't hate it," she continued as she faced Mykel and removed her shirt.
The sound of Sasha's moans echoed throughout the platform, and the noises they made made her lose her mind. She had forgotten how good it was and how Mykel could satisfy her without any effort.
"I see the ring on your finger. Are you married now?" Mykel asked as his hands caressed her body from the back to the front.
"Yes. I don't really want to think about anything else right now," Sasha answered and kissed Mykel, trying to stop him from prying her private life.
"So you're cheating on your husband with me?" Mykel asked with a smirk.
"Is it really cheating if I'm doing this with the same person but from a different reality?" Sasha asked back as she let out a soft moan and wrapped her arms around Mykel's neck, hiding her ecstatic expression on his neck.
"Have you considered to have a child?" Mykel whispered.
At that moment, Sasha felt an extreme tingling feeling all over her body and a chill in her back and nape when she heard that question. Her imagination went wild as Mykel let her indulge in the moment.
"Do you want to bear my child since you said it doesn't matter?" Mykel whispered.
"Yes, I want it," Sasha answered without a single hesitation.
The moment she answered, Mykel didn't bother to wait and gave her what she wanted, making her moan intensely. He could feel her whole body shaking as she tried to catch her breath while her body was paralyzed in pleasure.
"Let's do it until we are sure that it's good enough," Mykel said as he put his thumb on Sasha's bottom lip and pulled it down.
"Yes," Sasha answered and sucked Mykel's thumb.
