Raven groaned as he rubbed his slightly aching head. Test after test. Reviewing tons of information. Cross checking information for reassurance he was correct.
He was happy for practicals though, those were MUCH easier.
"Ugh, way too many tests." Raven said as he was packing his things up, the twins sat in his room on the floor while looking at his collection of books and reading one each.
"Yeah, thankfully they ease up in second year when you lose some of the classes. Just wait for the fifth year. We're pretty sure Charlie and William always came home with almost graying hair. Always groaning about their owls and newts." The twins said, and by this point Raven was used to their twin speaking.
Mostly because he had realized that now, they weren't twins, merely one person sharing two bodies. That's how he saw it. One soul, two bodies.
"Welp, I've still got a few years for that." Raven chuckled as he waved his wand and all the books came flying and neatly went into his trunk. Including the two the twins had.
"Hey! We were reading those!" They complained and he rolled his eyes as he shrunk his trunk and stored it in his bag of holding as he jokingly called it.
It was just a small pouch bag attached to his waist where he kept things. It really was convenient to be able to shrink a space that was magically enlarged inside an object.
With a smile he stood up and grabbed Izzy as he and the twins headed off to the dinner feast, one of the few occasions he was required to wear a robe.
"Hmm, you know, I've been thinking about it, I'm actually gonna miss this place over the summer." Raven said with a small frown as he looked around the castle. It was his final night here. Tomorrow he'd have breakfast, probably, and then get on the train to meet Lorieli at the train station.
"We had that same feeling as well. However it also made returning so much more fun." The twins grinned and Raven laughed.
"I'd bet. Speaking of bets actually, I bet I can get detention on the first day." Raven said, and it was truly a miraculous task to accomplish. The last person to do so, had been a student over one hundred years ago for something unknown.
"What are your terms, my good man?"
"Hmm, if I win, you two have to go around in pink dresses for a week. No hiding either. You have to wear them with pride. Same for me if I don't get detention on the first day." Raven proposed and they grinned.
"You're on!" They said and they shook on it.

"I hope you all enjoyed dinner tonight at our leaving feast. I'm sure you're all stuffed and wishing to retire to bed tonight, or have some conversations. I just have a bit to say." Albus said as he stood up, and Raven noticed the twinkle in his eyes. The old man had something amusing planned.
"First of all, I wanted to say how happy I am with how studious all of you are. It's been sixteen years since we've had anyone repeat a school year due to bad performance. I hope we can continue this trend for many more years to come." Albus said happily. A lot of students had a look of pride on their faces. Especially the ravenclaws.
"Second, there will be some changes occurring next year. For those of you leaving, I'm sorry you won't be able to experience this special offer, but for a single year, we will have a guest teacher coming to visit and teach. It will be optional to take, but I promise those who do and succeed, shall be proud of themselves." Albus said with a bright twinkle. As if a joke was being said and only he knew it.
Raven noticed the staff members seemed confused as well, beside McGonagall and Snape. To be expected though, they are his most trusted staff members.
"Third, I will be introducing a few more class options in our third year courses as electives. Those of you who have already made your choice may speak with your head of house when you return from summer break."
"Fourth, I will be opening a new program for those who wish to join for extra credit. You will pick a topic and teach it to those who are a year under you. Mostly as reinforcement in those who might be struggling in a subject. If you are interested please reach out to your head of house."
"Fifth and finally… the house cup!" Albus said loudly as the room cheered.
Raven smiled, it had taken a little bit of time, but he had realized the true purpose behind the house cup. It was peer pressure to do good and behave. A matter of pride really, and it was amusing.
"Before I announce the points, I wish to say that this year was extremely close for all houses. So now, in fourth place, Hufflepuff! With 547 points." The hall clapped. It may be last place, but it was a respectable amount of points.
"In third place we have Gryffindor, with 553 points!" More clapping.
"In second we have Ravenclaw, with 578 points." More clapping.
"In first place we have Slytherin, with 589 points. Well done Slytherin!" Albus said as he clapped his hands and the banners in the hall changed to Slytherin green.
"Excuse me, headmaster, I believe I have some final points to add." Snape said, though he looked physically in pain to say such a thing, and Slytherin seemed to realize what this meant. If their head of house was willing to do this, then they would either lose, or just just barely win by a point.
"To Mr. Inanis, I award you 10 points for your successful brewing skills in helping keep the nurses office stocked up with perfect potions." Snape said and the Slytherin house breathed in relief, they still had on point advantage.
"I also award you 5 more points for successfully preventing a record breaking 37 incidents." Snape finished and sat down looking exhausted. Physically and mentally.
"It seems I misspoke. Well done Ravenclaw on winning the house cup with 594 points!" Albus clapped again as the banners and decorations changed to Ravenclaw blue and black.
The Ravenclaw house cheered.
"Now I wish you all a good night, for those of you I don't see at breakfast, I wish you a goodbye, and for those of you who don't remember or are new with us, the train departs at 10:30am." Albus finished as he dismissed everyone who were picking up their thrown hats, mostly Ravenclaws.

Raven groaned as he stumbled his way onto the train feeling exhausted. The Ravenclaw as a whole had celebrated all night long. They finally passed out at 3:47am. Their head of house was found in the pile of drunk students.
Yeah, there was also the morning hangover that did not feel good at all.
"Hey there chap, how was the party?" The twins asked in a quiet voice. Thankfully, or else he would have chucked them into the distance.
"Wild." He replied with a grin.
"Here. This should help. A hangover potion." The twins said and passed it over. Raven gladly accepted it and sighed in relief as the headache started going away.
"Goddamn Inanis! How the hell are you even awake and moving!?" A fellow Ravenclaw asked, rubbing their head and taking their own hangover relief potion.
"Huh?" The twins asked in confusion and protectiveness.
"He, he took down 37 firewhisky bottles! And he was only tipsy, I passed out at that point." The guy admitted, and everyone around looked at Raven in shock, and massive respect.
"Skill issue." Raven said before booking it as he saw a furious Minerva McGonagall moving towards them having overheard that conversation.
"Crap, but hey, I might have just won that bet of ours." Raven cackled as he heard her yelling at them as they ran towards the exit and to get to the carriages. The twins cackled in sync.

Several hours later of playing games on the train, they finally arrived at the station.
"Please remember not to leave anything on the train." The speakers said and the group of three departed the train.
Walking out, they looked for their pickups.
The twins saw their elder brother Charlie and dad Arthur. Raven saw Lorelei standing proudly surrounded by people. He could see this one blonde man trying to suck up to her, but being ignored.
"Make sure to write, I see my ride out of here." Raven said with a laugh and a fist bump before moving over to Lorelei.
"Lorelei, sorry for the wait, I was saying goodbye to the twins." Raven said as he saw the annoyed expression on her face, though it looked the same, he could make out the small downwards movement of her lips.
"It's fine. Shall we be going, have you eaten also?" She asked and Raven shook his head.
"No, I skipped breakfast due to the party thrown for winning the house cup." Raven said with a smile as started following her out, amusing himself with people's reactions.
"Very well, I know of a place near here that serves excellent dinner." Lorelei said as she guided him out the station.

Lucius Malfoy frowned as he stared at the vice director of the Clocktower, guiding someone around and seemingly caring for them like a guardian.
He had heard from an acquaintance in the Clocktower that the vice director was coming here of all places, so he came.
He didn't recognize the child either, so they were most likely a mudblood, or perhaps a half blood. He would recognize pure blood on sight.
Though he could see the grace the child walked with befitting a royal. A walk as if it was in his genetics.
"I must have Draco keep an eye on him." Lucius muttered to himself before he apperated away.

I was planning a longer chapter, but I just decided I wasn't in the mood for that, nor did I want to go to heavy in this chapter.
Also, this summer will be a shorter one then the rest of the other ones due to the simple fact of it's mostly going to be training arc to prepare for the beginning of actual plot events beginning.
No I won't buff villains, more then I already have to work with the power system of this combined universe.
So yeah, I hope you enjoyed the chapter and end of Year 1. Once the summer arc is done, I'll be doing grammar fixing and just bit of editing.
Peace out yall!
