If this gets out, people back home will laugh their heads off," the enormous triangular pupils of the Eight-Winged Black Serpent Emperor focused on Elder Lion and the Black Lizard Demon Serpent King, its booming voice resonating through the air with a mocking tone.

"Damn you Bai Ya, I don't have time to argue with you. All you need to know is that we not only need to take the possessor of the Triple Jade-Green Snake Flower Pupils but also ensure the safety of the boy beside her," Lü Man, hovering next to the Eight-Winged Black Serpent Emperor's head, snapped back, pointing towards Qing Lin and Mo Yu, who were hiding behind a boulder.

"Got it. I've heard that the Mu Lan Elders have a special technique that can merge their powers perfectly, allowing them to display strength at the Dou Zong level. It's truly fearsome," the Eight-Winged Black Serpent Emperor acknowledged, a trace of apprehension in its voice.

"Be careful when you engage them. These two are not to be taken lightly. I'll take the chance to retreat with the two of them." Nodding, Lü Man gave a quick reminder before her wings fluttered, bringing her swiftly to Mo Yu and Qing Lin's side.

"Don't worry. When it comes to speed, no Dou Huang can match me, even those at the peak level," the Eight-Winged Black Serpent Emperor replied confidently, its massive tail swaying behind it as it watched Lü Man depart.

"Leaving so soon? Stay where you are!" Seeing Lü Man attempt to flee, Elder Lion's expression darkened, and he unleashed a burst of green Dou Qi, shooting forward like a bolt of lightning.

"Heh, your opponent is me," the Eight-Winged Black Serpent Emperor chuckled as it intercepted Elder Lion's path. Its eight wings flapped in unison, positioning its enormous body directly in front of the elder's flight trajectory.

With a powerful swing of its tail, a force so terrifying that it seemed to warp space hurtled toward Elder Lion.

Sensing the immense power behind the attack, the elder's expression shifted slightly, and he quickly maneuvered his body to dodge. Though he managed to evade the strike, he was forced to abandon his pursuit.

"When did the Heavenly Serpent Mansion start interfering in Mu Lan Valley's affairs? Aren't you afraid your mansion master will reprimand you?" Elder Lion growled, recognizing his opponent's identity.

Unfazed by the exposure of its identity, the Eight-Winged Black Serpent Emperor merely laughed, unperturbed. "You don't need to worry about our Heavenly Serpent Mansion's affairs. As for those two, they will be coming with us, whether you like it or not!"

"Hmph!" Elder Lion's face turned grim as he glanced back at the Black Lizard Demon Serpent King. "Lizard King, I'll hold him back. You grab that boy!"

Though the Black Lizard Demon Serpent King was displeased at being ordered around, the allure of the Heavenly Flame still on Mo Yu was too tempting, and the Eight-Winged Black Serpent Emperor was clearly a formidable opponent. After a moment's hesitation, it nodded.

Its black misty wings flapped slightly as it shot a wary glance at the Eight-Winged Black Serpent Emperor before darting towards Lü Man's position.

"You won't get past me, you lowly lizard!"

As the Black Lizard Demon Serpent King attempted to intercept Lü Man, the Eight-Winged Black Serpent Emperor let out a cold shout. Its enormous head twisted, and black flames surged from its body, converging into a massive flaming serpent that hovered above it.

With a flick of its tail, the serpent of black fire shot forth, a terrifying force behind it, hurtling toward the Black Lizard Demon Serpent King.

Seeing this, the Black Lizard Demon Serpent King hurriedly halted, forming a shield of black misty energy in front of it.

"Boom!"

The two potent energies collided violently, holding each other at bay for a brief moment before exploding in the sky. The resulting shockwave from the explosion rippled outward, forcing the Black Lizard Demon Serpent King back rapidly.

"Hmph, just a lowly serpent. Let's see if you dare to act up again!" The Eight-Winged Black Serpent Emperor sneered, its overwhelming aura pressing down on the retreating Black Lizard Demon Serpent King.

Though its strength wasn't significantly higher than the Black Lizard Demon Serpent King, its superior bloodline allowed it to suppress the other serpent with ease.

Watching the battle between the Eight-Winged Black Serpent Emperor and its opponent, Mo Yu couldn't help but feel a sense of admiration. This serpent, which had suffered under Xiao Yan's hands in the original story, possessed considerable strength.

Mo Yu glanced back at the Eight-Winged Black Serpent Emperor fiercely battling to hold off their pursuers. He offered a silent prayer of thanks before unfurling his own Purple Cloud Wings and launching himself in pursuit of Lü Man.

As she sensed a rapidly approaching presence behind her, Lü Man's beautiful eyes flashed with surprise. When she saw the Dou Qi wings on Mo Yu's back, her astonishment could no longer be concealed.

"Dou Qi Wings... a Dou Wang expert? No, that's not right..."

Her initial assumption was that Mo Yu had broken through to the Dou Wang level. But upon sensing the energy flow in his wings, she exclaimed, "A rare flying Dou Technique? Just what is this kid's background?"

"According to Leader Xiao Ding, the strongest in the Xiao Clan is Old Master Xiao Zhan, and his strength is... a Five-Star Da Dou Shi, I think."

"The strongest is just... a Five-Star Da Dou Shi?" Lü Man was stunned when she heard this, her beautiful eyes showing disbelief, and a few beads of sweat formed on her forehead. She smiled softly and asked, "Mo Yu, would you be interested in joining the Heavenly Serpent Mansion?"
