Yamamoto gazed at the young man before him and spoke in his usual measured tone. "Aaron, I'll give you two choices.

First, you can become my student, and I will personally guide your growth.

Second, you may make a request of me, as long as it adheres to reason and does not conflict with my principles.

Consider your options carefully—opportunities like this are rare," he concluded, his eyes calm but expectant.

Aaron lowered his head, deep in thought.

Ōetsu Nimaiya, standing off to the side, grinned mischievously.

"Yamamoto! Didn't you once say that relying on a mentor is an external crutch? That real strength comes from finding your own path?

Why does this situation sound oddly familiar? And honestly, shouldn't you at least offer him two rewards instead of just one?"

Yamamoto gave Nimaiya a sidelong glance before returning his attention to Aaron. He, too, was curious about what choice this young man—who had already surprised him several times—would make.

Aaron weighed his options carefully. Both choices were tempting. Becoming Yamamoto's student would provide the rare opportunity to learn directly from the Captain-Commander himself, gaining insights unavailable elsewhere.

But then again, with his unique ability, "Omniscience and Omnipotence," Aaron could analyze and deduce techniques on his own. Even if Yamamoto were to mentor him, most of the guidance would still rely on his personal understanding and interpretation.

Furthermore, he reasoned, Yamamoto—despite his stern demeanor—wouldn't hold a grudge if he chose the second option. After all, the Captain-Commander wasn't someone who sought petty revenge for a perceived slight.

The idea of making a request intrigued him. What could he ask for that would best serve his goals while remaining within the bounds of reason?

Time stretched as Aaron continued to deliberate, while Yamamoto and Nimaiya waited silently, observing the teenager's contemplation.

Finally, Aaron raised his head and said, "Captain Yamamoto, I choose the second option."

For a fleeting moment, a hint of disappointment flashed across Yamamoto's eyes, though his expression quickly returned to its usual stoic calm.

Nimaiya, on the other hand, couldn't suppress his amusement. "Didn't see that coming, did you, Yamamoto? Ha!"

Yamamoto ignored the jibe and asked evenly, "What is your request, then?"

Aaron met Yamamoto's gaze with unwavering determination. "If possible, I would like to become a teacher at the Spiritual Arts Academy."

Yamamoto regarded him silently for a moment before speaking. "Your request is acceptable. However, may I ask your reasoning?"

Before Aaron could respond, Nimaiya interjected, visibly exasperated. "Hey! That's your request? You could have asked for something more practical! This is nerve-wracking!"

Aaron chuckled at the reactions. "There's no grand reason. I believe I can learn just as much from teaching students as they can learn from me."

Nimaiya groaned in disbelief. "You've barely graduated yourself, and now you want to go back as a teacher? You geniuses have the strangest thought processes!"

Yamamoto remained quiet, his expression unreadable. After a long pause, he finally said, "While I believe gaining more field experience would serve you better, I will respect your decision. Arrangements will be made for your position at the Academy.

That will be all for today."

Aaron bowed respectfully. "Thank you for your understanding, Captain Yamamoto."

After leaving the office, Aaron returned to his dormitory to pack his belongings, preparing for his next chapter.

Back in Yamamoto's office, Nimaiya watched his old friend resume his work with a look of boredom. "Well, that was anticlimactic. Guess I'll be off now—this place is dull without some excitement."

As Nimaiya left, Chōjirō Sasakibe, Yamamoto's loyal lieutenant, entered the office. "Captain, is there something you need?"

"Deliver this application to Central 46," Yamamoto instructed calmly, handing over a document. "And contact the Spiritual Arts Academy to finalize the arrangements."

Meanwhile, Aaron, now packed and ready, left the team barracks under the curious gazes of fellow Shinigami. On his way to the Spiritual Arts Academy, his mind was already racing with plans.

His decision to become a teacher was rooted in the desire to enhance his strength. While studying under Yamamoto was an attractive option, his "Omniscience and Omnipotence" ability provided him with unique insights into swordsmanship and Kidō.

The Spiritual Arts Academy's library contained an extensive collection of texts, including restricted materials accessible only to faculty members. This vast repository of knowledge would allow him to further enrich his database and accelerate the evolution of his abilities.

Aaron compared his ability to a self-learning supercomputer, akin to the concept of artificial intelligence he remembered from his previous life. Just as AI required massive data to achieve breakthroughs, his "Omniscience and Omnipotence" thrived on accumulating knowledge.

Learning was the cornerstone of evolution, and the Academy provided the ideal environment to gather the resources he needed to push his potential to its limits.

As he finalized his plans, Aaron arrived at the Academy, ready to begin his new role and unlock the next stage of his journey.
