Avatar: Mage of All Elements

Two months. For two whole months I had this damn cast. And I couldn't do anything about it. It pissed me off. I'd cursed Aang in particular and Avatars in general hundreds of times. So as soon as I got my cast off, I got to work. The first thing I did was fix my hearing. I needed to make a new one. So I asked them to bring me either a criminal or a monkey.

Everybody was surprised, but they obeyed. And they brought the monkey. Where did they get it? Well, fuck it. The thing is, our hearing aids are very similar, so I just transplanted it to myself and Korrected the defects. And my life just took on a whole new meaning.

Next I started with the hand. Of course, I didn't start from scratch. Why would I? I just took a suicide bomber and transplanted his hand into my own. I spent a week playing with it to make it fit the right hand. Good! It takes at least a year for the right structures to grow. But that's okay. I did the same with the legs. Transplanted from the same suicide bomber.

Same story with the legs. One year for the right structures to grow. And I'm the one who's going to tweak them to make them grow faster. It would take at least five, maybe ten years to grow. So I can't complain. Anyway, three months and I can walk and I'm no longer disabled.

As soon as I got out of the hospital, Azula took me under her elbow. Took me home and there it was. How she didn't burn down the whole island, I don't know. She was okay, but my house was burned to the ground. Anyway, I can understand her. Comes home to a guy's house and there's 20 girls. Anyway, I got off easy. We reconciled a week later to our mutual delight.

She asked me not to go out with anyone else. Seriously, with my balls in her burning hand. I heartily assured her that she was the one and I'd never go out again. She believed me. Because I was very convincing. Anyway, we made up.

It was the happiest year of my life. I spent a year on vacation with Azula. I lived with her, waiting for the magic to return so I could build a house of my own choosing. We also started planning a future city during that time. It just worked. We enjoyed it, and so we often sat in the evenings and dreamed or drew. It's great.

My magic didn't come back overnight. It began to grow gradually. A month before the marked year, I was about average in water and fire magic. Two months before the marked year, I was up to par with Earth. Gradually, I regained more and more strength. And now, finally, I had recovered. Huh. Now I have to go to work.

I've dedicated this year not only to rest, but also to training. The thing is, there are a lot of things I want to do. And one of them is to have a strong body. I've been thinking a lot. How can I achieve that? The option was somewhat banal. Improve the body. Only at first I thought I should improve the body as much as possible.

But no. It doesn't work that way. The average person, with proper training and nutrition, can naturally improve muscles and have only twenty percent pink fibers. But there is a limit to everything. There is one in the concentration of pink fibers. Forty percent.

That's the maximum percentage of pink muscle that will work as efficiently as possible. No more and no less. And so it is with the whole body. It doesn't have to be used one hundred percent, it wears out.

So I started to improve my body. And I improved the whole body. As a result, I'm four times stronger than an ordinary person at the peak of his strength. That's a lot. After I realized that I had succeeded, I made Azula do the same.

As soon as my strength returned to full strength, I set to work. The first task is to expand the island. And to do that, we have to lift the earth from the bottom of the sea. And to bear such a load, you need a strong and sturdy body. And I had one. For the first time, I used the power of the earth to its full potential.

It was an amazing feeling. In one week, I'd circled the island completely, increasing its radius by one kilometer. A frightening result. It took me another week to secure the island against hurricanes, tsunamis and the like.
