Avatar: Mage of All Elements

Chapter 70: Chapter 70

The lightning traveled a hundred meters in one and a half seconds. That was enough time for me to survive. I inhaled and exhaled sharply. A strong jet of fire erupted from my mouth. I was lifted and spun around. Lightning struck where I was lying. An explosion and I'm thrown off again. Flying and hello rock. I've never wanted to be so far away from an ordinary rock.

«Gravity, you heartless bitch», I panted as I flew down, «No hit!» I yelled as I landed.

I must have hit my head much harder than I thought. Or was that a defense mechanism? I don't know. It doesn't matter. I'm behind the rock. I can feel Aang. Only he's so small. I haven't stopped feeling blood. Heh.

«You're too late», I panted again as Aang flew towards me. A moment later, another lightning bolt flew from Ozai's fingers and hit the rock. «This one was stronger», I grimaced in pain, «He can barely walk. His magic is blocked. Except, bitch, there's still lightning left. Finish him off and bring Katara here. Or me to her.»

He listened to me, nodded and, after waiting for another bolt to hit the rock, ran to Ozai. I have no idea what happened next. I just stared at the red sky. Not a single cloud. There was an explosion and the rock I was under began to fall towards me.

Fucking Avatar. I concentrate. Impulse. Bitch! You want to kill me? Fuck you! Water power to the right, then to the left. Caught the blood. Lift my legs. Pull my left arm up. Hide the right. The rock comes closer. Pinched a few muscles, released the water magic. Fire, it's your turn! You have a second and a half. I Open mouth. And start squeezing the fire. Quarter of a second. A half. Three quarters. One second! Shot!!!

POV Aang

«Do we have to do this?» asked Aang in despair to the Avatars «He did so much to win the war! Why do we have to kill him?!»

«He's a threat to the balance», all the Avatars muttered at once «If you don't want to do it, then we'll do it ourselves.»

A moment later, Aang's body took off. His tattoos glowed, as did his eyes and mouth. A wave of the staff and the momentum flew into the rock. A moment and the rock explodes and the body returns to Aang.

He falls exhausted to the ground, watching but unable to do anything as his friend and hero of this war is about to die. The rock falls, almost reaching the ground. It explodes.

Shocked, Aang stands up and runs over to see that Yoko is alive. Without legs and an arm, but alive. Immediately, his tattoos hurt and he crawled away. He realized. If he couldn't help, Katara or Hama would. He spread the glider and flew with all his strength. He wouldn't let him die. Not him.

I came to my senses with a jerk. I regretted it. Everything hurt. Everything. My body, everything. I closed my eyes and looked inside. The canals were a little burned. That's okay. A week and everything will be the same. The impulse and the body situation are clear. As expected, I've lost my legs and my left arm.

The right one is there, but it doesn't work because it's in a cast. They were lucky that my dick didn't get hurt. If something had happened to him, it would have been a bloodbath. I'm fine. I'll survive. I'll be fine in time. I'll be back on my feet before I take revenge. You want to kill me? All right. I'll return the favor. But in the meantime, I need food. I have to eat.

I opened my eyes and looked around. I was in a light and airy room. Not white, but bright. And outside the window, there was a familiar landscape. Kyoshi Island. So I'm home. Smiling, I passed out.

The next power-up went much better. My body didn't hurt, but my legs and arm did. I looked out the window and it was evening. I couldn't fall asleep again, but my throat was a desert. I had to lie there and wait for someone. And I did. An hour later one of my students entered the room. I mumbled to her.

She froze and turned around slowly. When she saw my eyes open, she said something and flew out. Great, my eardrums were damaged too. I rolled my tongue around in my mouth. At least I can talk.

A few minutes later, Hama came running in. Wow, they made an old lady like that run around. And Azula came in after her. She was the one I didn't want to see right now. There are many reasons, but the main reason is one. I was afraid. Afraid that she would leave me and go away. I'm almost 40 and still haunted by such a banality.

«Water», I panted. Surprisingly, they understood and gave me some, half a glass. «I can't hear a thing.»

This, however, was a problem. In the end, they wrote to me to make me understand something. And they asked me the most important thing.

«What is the official version of events?» I gasped. I couldn't wait for my arm to knit together.

«You fought Ozai and lost. He almost killed you, but the Avatar was able to save you.» - Azula wrote to me. «What really happened?»

«My stupidity», I smiled weakly, «I defeated him. Ozai. Blocked his magic. And I tried to taunt him. And he created a bolt of lightning and threw it at me. At close range. It was a miracle that I escaped. But in return, my arms and legs were broken. Ozai wanted to do it again, but I escaped the second time. Only the rest of my body was damaged. My torso. I was thrown behind a rock, and then Aang flew in. He completely stripped Ozai of his magic, but entered the Avatar state and attacked me. After sacrificing my legs and arm, I managed to survive», I was given water again. «And I will take revenge. As no one has ever taken revenge before. But that will come later. Right now I need to recover. Is there anything to eat? I'm very hungry.»

«What shall we do now?» she wrote angrily

I don't know how Azula wrote angrily, but she did it.

«Nothing», I covered my eyes, «Just live. I haven't given up on my idea yet.»

Hama smiled and sent one of the warriors to fetch food. Hmm, do they obey her because she's my mother or because she heals me? I wonder.
