Chapter 227: Chapter 225: I've Used Enough, and No One Else Can Use It!
"You're here... so fast!" Lena Luthor remarked, her eyes glancing at Su Sheng as he casually draped his arm over Lolita's shoulders. With a composed expression, she continued, "I'm just helping facilitate this meeting. Since you two are here, I'll leave you to talk. I need to meet with some new employees."
With that, Lena got up and gracefully exited the room, leaving Su Sheng and Lolita alone in the spacious office.
Su Sheng released Lolita and leaned back on the sofa, a mischievous smile playing on his lips. "So, what's the reason you wanted to see me?"
Lolita's smile matched his, sweet yet calculated. "Oh, Mr. Su Sheng, you must be joking. I think you already know why I've asked you here."
"Sure, I could just read your mind—telepathy does have its perks—but then where's the fun in that? I enjoy a little mystery," Su Sheng teased, resting his hand on Lolita's leg. Her tattooed skin, framed by the slit of her red cheongsam, gave her a dangerous allure, like a flower serpent—a beauty intertwined with menace.
For a moment, Lolita tensed as Su Sheng's hand idly stroked her leg. She smiled, though, maintaining her poise. "Lately, my operations have been disrupted—multiple times. Someone's been ruining my attempts to capture aliens, and they've sabotaged my businesses. I was hoping you could... resolve this little problem for me."
As she spoke, Lolita's hand seemed to "adjust" her cheongsam, revealing more of her leg, hinting at something unspoken.
Su Sheng chuckled, rolling his eyes. "I'm busy. I don't have time for this."
Lolita's smile faltered, clearly shocked that her attempts at seduction had fallen flat. "But... I thought you—"
"You're not mine, Lolita. If you're not going to be straightforward, don't waste my time," Su Sheng interrupted. He stood up, brushing off his pants. "You came to test the waters, not to surrender. When you're ready to play for real, you know where to find me."
Lolita shot to her feet, her face darkening. She opened her mouth to protest, but Su Sheng had already vanished in a blur of blue light.
"Damn bastard," she muttered under her breath, her expression icy. "He thinks he can just brush me off? Well, he'll regret it. He has no idea what kind of game I'm playing."
Lolita's thoughts drifted to Mon-El, the prince of Daxam. Initially, she'd considered him just a pawn—a novelty because of his royal status. But now, she'd heard whispers that the Daxamite king was searching for his son, offering a substantial reward. Daxam was a neighboring planet to Krypton, and like the Kryptonians, the Daxamites were eager to find a new world to dominate after their own had suffered. Lolita knew this could be her chance to rise, but she'd need to eliminate Su Sheng first.
After his encounter with Lolita, Su Sheng returned to his apartment. Siobhan Smythe, as punctual as ever, arrived that night.
The next morning, Siobhan awoke to find Su Sheng still beside her, a rare occurrence. Surprised, she slipped her arm around his neck and laid her head on his chest. "Aren't you busy today? You could call in and take the day off."
Su Sheng remained still. "No need."
There was an edge in his voice, and Siobhan felt a pang of anxiety. "Is something wrong? Why are you saying that?" she asked nervously. "If I did something wrong, just tell me—I'll change."
Su Sheng slowly pushed her off and stood up. "I'm tired," he said flatly.
Siobhan immediately wrapped her arms around him from behind, pleading. "No, please. If I haven't been enough for you, just tell me. I can do better. Just give me a chance."
Su Sheng turned to look at her, his gaze cold and detached. "You've been fine. That's not the problem. I'm saying I'm tired. There's nothing left about you I haven't already experienced. I've had my fill."
Siobhan froze, her face pale. "But—"
"Get dressed. We'll take some photos later, and then you can leave," Su Sheng said indifferently as he pulled on his clothes. "I'll transfer my shares of Kate International Media to you. Consider it a parting gift."
Stunned, Siobhan stared at him. "You're giving me the company?"
"I've given you the opportunity. What you make of it is up to you," Su Sheng said coldly. "But let me be clear—if you accept those shares, you're still mine. Even if I'm done with you as my... plaything, no one else can have you. Understood?"
"Why?" Siobhan blurted, unable to suppress her confusion. "If you're done with me, why can't I move on? What am I supposed to do, be single for the rest of my life?"
Su Sheng's eyes narrowed, and his voice turned dark. "You think I'm being unreasonable? Fine. Let's settle this."
Without warning, Su Sheng grabbed Siobhan by the throat, lifting her off the ground. She gasped, struggling in his grip.
"Shh," Su Sheng whispered. "Don't fight it. I want to speak to... the other you."
As Siobhan's breath caught in her throat, her eyes rolled back, and her body began to transform. Her hair turned stark white, and black lines crept across her face—Silver Banshee had emerged.
"You..." Silver Banshee hissed. "Why did you—"
Su Sheng smirked. "I've got a task for you. If she ever dares to go near another man, you'll come out and stop her. Understood?"
"Why should I?" Silver Banshee screamed, defiant.
Su Sheng raised his hand, releasing a small but powerful shockwave that made the Silver Banshee shudder. "Feel that? That's my shockwave ability. I can use it to know what you're doing at any time. And if I want... I can destroy you. Completely."
Author's Note:
The Grand Harem is still the plan, but only the key characters will get detailed stories. Some side characters from the TV series and movies are worth mentioning, though. I don't want to leave anyone out—it feels incomplete otherwise. So, even though they won't take up much of the plot, these roles will be handled with care, especially since a man like Su Sheng, even after he moves on, can't tolerate the idea of someone else taking over his former flames. Men are possessive like that!
