All-Class Transmigration: The Strongest Summoner

Chapter 7: Chapter 7: Simple, Unpretentious, and Dull

Su Mu made a gesture, and ten Azure-eyed Giant Spiders immediately dispersed, blending into the grass and ground without a sound, quickly moving to surround the dog-headed soldier team ahead.

Su Mu patted the back of his Unicorn Demon Leopard, which understood the signal. It retracted its claws and, with its heavy paws stepping lightly on the ground, it leapt gracefully, carrying Su Mu with it as it followed along.

Puchi—

The sound of a sharp weapon piercing through flesh echoed through the trees. As Su Mu peeked out, he saw the Azure-eyed Giant Spiders launching their attack on the dog-headed soldier team.

The giant spiders, as big as millstones, leapt out from all directions, their long and sharp legs shooting forward like spears. The sound of them slicing through the air was deafening, and their legs gleamed with a metallic luster as they viciously stabbed into the dog-headed soldiers' bodies.

In an instant, most of the dog-headed soldiers were killed, with only a few lucky ones and the leader remaining.

The leader was an exceptionally large dog-headed soldier, standing over 2.5 meters tall, with a muscular body and a ferocious expression. It resembled a wolf to some extent.

Instead of wielding a crude wolf-tooth club, this leader held a hefty metal iron staff.

The leader was extremely alert. As soon as the spiders attacked, it immediately reacted, swinging its iron staff to smash one of the spiders out of the air.

Bang—

With a single strike, the powerful blow sent a spider flying, completely obliterating it.

Su Mu watched the scene with narrowed eyes, and the monster's information appeared before him.

[Name: Dog-headed Elite Soldier][Level: 5][Strength: 45][Agility: 40][Constitution: 40][Spirit: 15]

[Skill 1: Giant Strength] (Increases strength by 30%)[Skill 2: Bloodthirsty] (Passive skill. When heavily injured, enters a bloodthirsty state, increasing all attributes by 30%)

[Description: An elite member of the dog-headed race. A lower-tier orc species that loves gold, does not eat vegetables, and will consume any creature's flesh and blood, except for its own kind. Bloodthirsty and enjoys battle. If it hits you with that club... you might survive.]

The Dog-headed Elite Soldier was a level 5 monster, just like the Unicorn Demon Leopard, and it was the strongest monster Su Mu had encountered so far in this beginner dungeon.

It was putting up quite a fight, now locked in combat with the Azure-eyed Giant Spiders.

The spiders quickly shot out webs, weaving a large net to trap the elite soldier.

The Dog-headed Elite Soldier roared in anger, its eyes turning a bloodshot red, and it pulled at the web with brute strength, sending several spiders flying towards it.

It grabbed one of the spiders and crushed it to death in a single squeeze, spraying green blood all over itself. The monster let out a delighted roar, displaying its brutal side.

Su Mu furrowed his brows at the sight. The monsters in this world seemed much smarter and stronger compared to those in online games.

After observing for a moment, Su Mu decided to intervene. He patted the Unicorn Demon Leopard, which flashed a gleam of intelligence in its eyes. Energy surged around its horn, and a blood-colored lightning bolt shot out.

Boom—

The blood-red thunderbolt struck the Dog-headed Elite Soldier with a loud crack, and sparks crackled as arcs of electricity danced across its body. The soldier was stunned and collapsed, its body stiffening and falling to the ground.

[Ding! You have killed the Dog-headed Elite Soldier. Experience points maxed out. Congratulations, player Su Mu, your level has increased to level 5. Spirit +10, gained 10 free attribute points.]

Another level up! The summoner's leveling speed was incredibly fast, and the best part was that he didn't have to lift a finger. He could just sit back and relax while his minions did all the work. So comfy!

He casually allocated the 10 free attribute points to his strength, but didn't bother checking his stats. Instead, he looked at the silver light emanating from the Dog-headed Elite Soldier's corpse.

[Item: Hero's Necklace][Category: Accessory][Rank: Silver][Attributes: None]

[Skill 1: Storage] (Provides a 10 cubic meter storage space, capable of holding non-living items.)[Skill 2: Heroic Light Shield] (Sacrifices ten summoned creatures to form a light shield around the user, lasting three minutes. Cooldown time: one hour. No side effects.)

[Equip Requirement: Summoner.]

Well, well, well. This was another rare accessory. Although, Su Mu had to admit, the term "rare" didn't quite do it justice anymore.

Still, the item was decent—a small, silver-grade gem with no attributes—but the skills were useful. The second skill, Heroic Light Shield, could be quite helpful. The first skill, Storage, was also quite convenient. It provided a personal storage space.

Su Mu definitely wouldn't toss it aside. He examined the necklace, which resembled a wolf's fang pendant but was actually made from a dog's tooth. He casually put it on.

With the item equipped, Su Mu waved his hand and threw all the useless items he'd accumulated so far into the storage space.

Although the drop rate from killing hundreds of dog-headed soldiers wasn't high, Su Mu still managed to pick up a few decent items.

Most of them weren't usable by him due to his class, but he could always sell them after leaving the dungeon, perhaps adding a few extra zeros to his bank balance.

He glanced at the Heroic Light Shield skill again. It was a defensive skill designed for self-preservation. This was exactly what a summoner like him needed.

A summoner's greatest strength was the power of their summoned creatures, but their own combat ability was usually quite weak. That made them especially vulnerable to assassins or archers—any class that could deal high burst damage from a distance.

That's why skills that enhance the summoner's own survival, like the Heroic Light Shield, were so valuable.

Feeling pleased with his new item, Su Mu sighed as he glanced at his monster army.

"I'm a good general, but I have to sit here while my minions do all the work. What a shame."

With a disappointed sigh, he waved his hand, and another black vortex appeared. Ten more abyssal creatures crawled out and joined his army.

Su Mu yawned, sitting atop his Unicorn Demon Leopard, directing his army as they marched towards the Dog-headed Camp.

Such is the life of a summoner: simple, unpretentious, and dull.
