You Are Deep in The Stars

In another city, Liu Chunchun had a good appetite. There were hundreds of bamboo sticks stuck in the plastic bucket beside him, and the plate in front of him was still filled with unfinished roast lamb and cheese scallops—this was a wonderful, department-expense-reimbursed dinner, with no big boss Bai present, so colleagues were enjoying themselves together.

“Chunchun, open it for me,” the female colleague opposite him said, handing over a bottle of beer.

Liu Chunchun took it and cracked it open on the corner of the table without any effort.

“Why hasn’t our fish been served yet?” someone else asked.

“No, you have to go.” The male colleague refused to give up. “Which friend? Girlfriend? Bring her along so that everyone can see her.”

Liu Chunchun suddenly said nervously, “Let go, let go.”

“No!” The other party, who was a little drunk, tried to hail a taxi on the side of the road with one hand, but as soon as he turned around, he almost bumped into someone.

His features looked extremely deep and beautiful under the lights, yet cold and indifferent.

The scene fell silent.

The male colleague was confused, and the female colleagues wanted to scream.

“Let’s go first!” Liu Chunchun, experienced in dealing with Mr. Wang, made a quick decision before Mr. Wang could display his extremely bad temper and super destructive power. He quickly stuffed him into the taxi.

Wang Yuanchen said nothing, turning his head to look into Liu Chunchun’s eyes.

Liu Chunchun clasped his hands pitifully and said, “Please, let’s talk about it when we get back. We can’t fight in the car, or we’ll end up at the police station.”

Wang Yuanchen snorted indifferently and leaned back in his seat. He remained completely silent on the way back. But silence didn’t mean a lack of pressure. Apart from Liu Chunchun, even the taxi driver sensed that something was off, so he stepped on the accelerator and drove the two back to Qiye Road in less than half the usual time.

“I was wrong.” Liu Chunchun, very self-aware, apologized before even taking off his shoes as he entered the door.

“What’s wrong?” Wang Yuanchen asked, keeping his hands in his pockets and continuing to look down at him.

Liu Chunchun reflected very sincerely, but he couldn’t figure out his mistake. Mr. Wang had allowed him to hang out until midnight, and it was only eleven forty.

But the person opposite him was clearly in a bad mood.

So, he still said humorously and perfunctorily, “Everything is wrong.”

As expected, Wang Yuanchen was not satisfied with this answer, so he stretched out his hand to pinch his face and dragged him all the way to the living room.
