The waves washed over the fine white sandy beach, and the sea breeze blew in their faces, making everyone feel relaxed and happy. Daisy was laying under the umbrella, holding a cocktail in her hand, enjoying that leisurely day doing nothing.

Next to her sat a businesswoman wearing black-rimmed glasses. Even though she was at the beach, she was still wearing a neat white shirt and skirt. She had a laptop on her knees and a healthy drink: sugar jasmine tea.

This was a pair of sisters who had nothing in common. They had very different appearances, hobbies, and personalities. Gwen had no interest in her sister’s house full of Hermès and Chanel, while Daisy believed that her workaholic sister’s life was joyless. However, these differences did not affect their relationship. They still regarded each other as the closest people in the world.

“Okay, then you come back early at noon, and I’ll go to the company in the afternoon,” Bai Xi said. “Drive carefully.”

Han Zhuo agreed and ended the call.

“It seems that we are in big trouble.” Tao Xi took the tea cup away from him and replaced it with a bottle of iced juice. “Then don’t drink hot tea. You need this to calm down. Let me guess, what new plans does Shi Tian have?”
