Wrath of the Re-climber

Chapter 5: 4. Fairy's games (4)

This wasn't a web novel...

Ethan missed the strike; the rabbit twisted its body at the last moment and dodged the strike, but his own connected as Ethan felt a sharp pain in his hand.

'ha!'

The sharp pain traveled through his body, he gritted his teeth, and jumping down the stairs, the rabbit immediately bounced back on the wall and dashed towards Ethan's landing position, Ethan slashed forward once again, and the rabbit repeated its same action to dodge and strike, but Ethan expected that and immediately dodged the strike.

Ethan immediately went on guard as the rabbit bounced rapidly around him; he was at a disadvantage in this close-up environment, and if he put down his guard, it was over; his eyes did not leave the rabbit.

'it's coming!'

The rabbit changed directions and flew towards him; the rabbit underestimated his prey; this boy wasn't any type, an adult who had fought countless wars, battles, and conflicts, fought, lost, and won, He had accumulated numerous experiences in his journey, and one of them was the most effective.

During his climb, people feared him and saw him as a sadic and masochist who fought without regard for his condition; a normal person would fight with the thought of minimizing damage, but he was the exact opposite.

'as long as the damage received isn't deadly or too bad, I would endure it'

His objective is to kill his prey...

That's what the rabbit did not know about him, the man who mastered the masochist fighting style, suicidal dog fight.

The rabbit claws dug into the boy's ribs; for a moment, the rabbit screeched in victory but was startled by the shining eyes that stared down at him.

'got you!'

The rabbit tried to flee. However, it was too late, and the short sword came down mercilessly at his skull, destroying it.

*

Ethan immediately went on one kneel and looked at his wound, it was severe, but not to the point of being a threat to his life.

'huff...'

He breathed and looked at the rabbit corpse with the dagger in his head, he extended his hand and took it out.

"Oh, oh, oh... Interesting "

Despite the pain, Ethan immediately put distance away from the intruder; he glared at the fairy, who looked down at the rabbit corpse.

"You're the first one to ever kill an entity this fast before they even reach face 3; congratulations, this has never occurred; I am confused about what to do," Cadell giggled with a hand on her mouth, but Ethan only looked at her with a stoic expression.

"Ehmm..." She cleared her throat, and a panel showed up, "As a gift for your hard work, young kid, you can choose from these options. " She showed Ethan, the panel, and he saw two options.

He remembered one of the remaining survivors of the apex brigade talking about this; Nicolas Bright; he said...

/"I once killed a rabbit at the beginner zone only to find out I was the first, as a reward, I was giving a blessing"/

He was seen as the gecko because his healing abilities were close to that of the gecko beast, whose healing abilities were terrifying.

Looking down at the panel, Ethan was disappointed not to see the gecko ability enlisted, it did not show up, but his disappointment vanished instantly.

"I would take the second option," Said Ethan; the fairy nodded with a smile.

"Hunt well, kiddo, I am rooting for you." She vanished with those words; Ethan looked down at the crimson aura in his hand; he did not waste time swallowing it.

As the red beam went down his throat, he felt a burning sensation in his chest that lasted for a moment.

'huff!'

Taking a deep breath, he felt energized, he sure did not get the the gecko blessing, but what he obtained was something equivalent or maybe better than that.

Ethan walked towards the rabbit corpse and extended his hand at it; the rabbit's blood started boiling as it flowed towards him.

[Vampirism]

A blessing not common, belonging to the vampire class, Ethan grinned; with this power, getting stronger would be much easier.

The wound on his ribs started healing as he sucked the rabbit's blood.

Walking down the stairs, he finally saw the lobby, along with two rabbits; one was in stage 1, and he immediately went on guard.

"Come!" It was difficult to hide; the rabbit immediately rushed at him; he dodged the first one and led the tier one to hit him.

Sustaining the damage, it was bearable; the vampirism not only enabled blood-sucking, but it also boosted his state and fighting ability.

With increased strength, speed, and resilience, two rabbits could be dealt with.

His short sword paraded the second-tier rabbit who sneaked behind him; the first-tier rabbit came at him from the front, and Ethan ran towards the wall and did a back flip.

The rabbit, startled by the absurd movement, looked up and saw Ethan, grinning at it before hitting the wall; before catching its balance, the rabbit's vision went dark.

Ethan did not waste time slashing as he descended, and before he landed, the rabbit was dead, There was no time to celebrate as the tier two furiously rushed towards him.

Bang!

Ethan took three steps back and hit the wall; he grinned at the pissed-up rabbit, "Did I kill your girlfriend?" Mocked Ethan, the rabbit roared at Ethan, before trying to move away.

Swoosh!

The rabbit dodged the sword but lost its balance; Ethan took this opportunity to hold the rabbit by its throat and strangle it to death.

Ethan breathed in satisfaction seeing the rabbit taking its final breath; he stood up and picked up his short sword; he extended his hand towards the two corps and dried them up.

Walking out of the building, the night was already falling, but that did not stop him; the environment in the abyss, when you complete the apex tower, is far crueler.

Ethan saw numerous scarlet eyes staring at him hungrily; he grinned, "If you want to eat me, get ready to leave a foot or ear." He took his stand.

*

The sun rose up to the scene of a bloody massacre, and the bell of the obelisk sounded

Dong!

Signaling the end of the trial, Ethan walked forward as he emptied the last rabbit; he wasn't the only one; people showed up, some with severe wounds, scared, terrified, traumatized, and bloody, and others determined to stay alive.

"Ah, my sweet participants, the real show can begin. First, I would congratulate those who made it; you all, survival, can begin the crochet-friendly games of the beginner zone," Announced Cadell with a loving grin.

'damn fairy'

That was everybody's honest reaction to her sarcastic announcement.
