Ethan came out of the elevator armed with both swords; he looked around; this place was eerily quiet; it looked like a cave, which shouldn't be under a building.

'the power of this world has always shown how absurd it can be,' he thought; where's the lizard?

He came across a cavity in a wall that looked like a place to sleep for a beast; when he bent, his two fingers touched the ground.

"It is recent; the place is still hot," He murmured; at the other side of the cave, two murderous white eyes showed up, staring at him.

Thud!

Ethan did not immediately turn, he stood up and clenched his weapons firmly.

Gree!

The beast-like animal growled towards Ethan, its sharp, hot claws sang within the ground, getting ready.

Boom!

With lightning speed, the lizard shot toward Ethan; it was a medium-sized dragon lizard.

Katnese took a deep breath with a sour body and arching hand; she staggered before falling on the floor, her hand extended and grabbed the core, which soon disappeared into her.

"With that, I have hunted five," She said; she tried to stand, but despite her body recovering, dying to the effect of the core, her mental fatigue remained, she found out that, depending on the monster killed, strong gives out strong cores and weak gives out weak cores.

"Is your stats still increasing?" Asked Damian, Katnese looked up at him and shook her head.

"It has stopped," She said; they didn't know why it stopped, but it only meant that they would be called out soon.

"What's this notification?" Asked Dimitri; he looked towards a frowning Damian; he, too, was full of questions.

Katnese looked towards the door, mumbling, 'Is he the one?' she gritted her teeth, "Whatever he saw down there if he comes up, he will be much stronger," She thought.

Standing up, she opened the door leading to the third floor; she paused for a second, seeing the numerous angered eyes of the people within.

"What are you doing here!" Shouted Dimitri, he pushed Katnese aside and walked towards them.

This idiot!

Cursed Damian immediately recognized them, "The gang group, if they are here, that means..."

"Well, well, well, if it's not her friends from earlier," Said Lazar; he walked out of the group and looked at the kids, "wow, you guys seemed to have strengthened up, nice," he praised them.

Using the shining dagger in his hand to scratch his chin, he counted them, "Hmmm, two are missing. Did something happen to them?" He asked.

Nobody answered.

"It seems my words didn't go through; I would repeat myself, "Where are the two others?" He asked back, this time, not smiling.

His aura spoked them slightly, Katnese and Damian looked at him in shock.

"How did he become that strong?" Questioned Damian, did he find something like a ruin stone?

Correct... To an extent.

It wasn't Lazar who found the stone or who hunted the monster; it was one of the people who followed him; Lazar killed him and took his stone when the said person refused to give it away.

The skill imbued in it was a telekinetic power, giving him the ability to pull and repulse objects away or towards him.

With such power, he easily farmed out cores and strengthened his force; he was aiming to farm more when he realized that his stats no longer grew, so he decided to move out and hunt the participants who were too afraid to hunt.

He had fun with some women out there and enjoyed their expression of fear, but he soon became bored, and that's when a problem occurred.

"Say that again..." He was angry; he looked down at the bag of food they took out from the hunt station.

"Boss, the food burned away, it evaporated," Reported his men; he did not believe it and thought someone had bypassed them and stolen it, that was until another man carrying a bag out screamed.

He saw it with his own eyes; the food, taken out, instantly caught fire and burned away.

They had to search for other hunt grounds to replenish themselves, but it was difficult, they were well hidden.

"Join me," Said Lazar towards Katnese and the others, they looked at Lazar's palm before looking at him.

"If we work together, we can dominate the whole zone and establish a strong territory " Offered Lazar, but they weren't pleased.

'under another person?' questioned Damian, seemingly not happy, "No,o," He said firmly.

Katnese clenched her blade, ready to fight. Everybody became tense, but contrary to what they expected, Lazar did not fight back.

"Destroy all their food supply," He ordered; his men immediately started searching; Damian and Dimitri were happy they hid the food; however...

"Found it!" Shouted one of Lazar's men, 'How?!' that's what Damian and Dimitri question.

"Haha, your search skills are remarkable, Dolan." Praised Lazar, Dolan was proud; despite the hunt zones protected by an unknown force preventing the search skills, Dolan was still useful in hunting down the hiding humans and their belongings.

The group had to watch with resentment as Lazar and his gang destroyed their food supply.

"When you change your minds, come to the west station, we will be there,," Said Lazar before leaving.

Damian and the rest were angry but could do nothing about it; there were just too many of them.

Katnese was on one knee as she touched the floor. The others thought she was too angry to even stand, but it was wrong; she tried to feel the tremors she constantly felt while fighting.

"It has stopped," She said.

Ethan sat down with a broken hand and a bleeding face, his scarlet eyes reverting back to black, he looked up at the Draken corpse.

"I almost died," He thought; it was much harder than he expected, and he examined his body.

He had numerous broken ribs and a broken hand, which twisted at a weird angle; he was certain his skull was hit hard, and he had internal bleeding.

However, all this damage was healing very fast; due to vampirism, he sucked the drake's nutrients, and his body was healing up rapidly.

"Show yourself," Said Ethan, the fairy, or to say, Cadell showed her face, "Hi, hi, hi, how did you find out I was here?" She laughed, but Ethan gave her the cold gaze.

"You're being interesting; numerous beings are watching your performance; keep going," She said before taking out a key, "with that, let's see what price goes with this difficulty; oh, you can choose between a trait and a skill," said the fairy with a smile.
