 In the big dining hall of the Dragon Castle, Sienna sat next to Thunder and they ate breakfast together; Thunder gobbled up some thin meat cuts and Sienna had apple porridge with nuts and seeds, apple and grapes with mint water.

"I'm so stuffed!" she smiled." Shall we go out for a walk, my King? I really miss the fresh air."She asked sweetly.

 "Sure, let's go, "Thunder nodded and turned to go out.

"Ohmm, I need some coat and warm shoes."Sienna looked at her feet in dainty slippers.

"Sure," Thunder nodded, "Let's go to my room, I have some clothes ready for you."

"Thank you."Sienna smiled. She felt happy again and clenched into his arm as they walked.

Thunder looked at his new Queen. She was as beautiful as the sun. Her beauty came from her kind heart, making her even more alluring.

He lifted her to his embrace and strolled to his room, breathing in her scent."This way it is faster," he smiled at her.

"Ok, she nuzzled to his chest."Fast travelling."She giggled.

Thunder let her down in front of his room and grabbed her hand excitedly."Come, see it. Here are your new dresses." He let her inside and pointed at the huge wooden chest. Sienna opened the heavy lid carefully and looked at the luxurious gowns.

"Whose dresses are these?" Sienna asked a little suspiciously." I would not like to wear dresses after Dagen's mother. They should go to Sorcha."She bit her lips and looked at him.

"Of course."Thunder nodded."These are all new. "I got them yesterday. "He said.

"Ok, I accept then."Sienna smiled."Thank you."

"So, do you have any nice gardens we can go to?"Sienna asked as she looked for a warmer dress and snow boots.

"Yes, just get ready."Thunder nodded. He was keeping himself constrained because as a dragon he understood that Sienna wanted to go out first.

 Sienna put on a warm light blue velvet dress with a white furry cape and added soft fluffy white boots to her knees. She looked dreamy but cushy soft in that and Thunder licked his lips. He felt his heart flutter after, which was an excitingly strange feeling for him. 

"Let's go!"Sienna clenched and held onto his arm.

Thunder nodded and walked with the Sienna to the gardens.

Meanwhile, in the newly decorated room of Prince Dagen, the young couple rested in a sweet embrace, Dagen lay on his back and Sorcha on her belly, playing with his face, and petting his hair. Sorcha was very curious about what had happened when she got stuck in that amber crystal, so Dagen just finished updating her on the news.

She was quite surprised to learn that Thunder accepted a new mate!

"Did not your father say, he doesn't want anyone after your mother's death? " Sorcha was looking at Dagen curiously

"He did it for me; he had no choice."Dagen nodded."Sienna would not be able to take you out otherwise," he said gently.

"But why her, could it not be anyone else?"She asked.

"Well, she was the last one with golden hair and blue eyes, so father did his best, "Dagen noted.

"But how she did not get stuck there instead of me, was not that the prophecy?"Sorcha asked curiously.

"Sienna called her mate, the Scorpions King to help. He said that she needed the Royal Bracelet like you, to enter the crystal and take you out. We had no more time. It was a last chance to save you, so she accepted my father." Dagen looked at his beautiful mate.

"Hm, I think she might do it for herself. Your father is a very powerful King."Sorcha bit her lips thinking.

"I don't think so, her mate is a sorcerer, who is more powerful than him?"Dagen asked thinking.

"Pff, your father is very strong. Probably more than you. "Sorcha bit her lips.

"I think he is stronger than father. Sarcos is a Crystal Scorpion. He can kill my father in a second. He just claps his hands and that is!"Dagen laughed coldly. "I heard that he already burned two Kings into tiny blue diamonds. Dagen was more clever in this than his father because he used to read a lot of legends! He wielded after power because he knew one day he would have to overpower his strong father and take his throne by force...

"Hm, I still do not think her motives are so innocent. Nobody is that kind! Maybe she wants your father's gold?"Sorcha asked thinking. "Maybe she is a gold digger!

 Do not you think she looks like a gold-digger?"

"King Sarcos is very rich, and so are King Sharchan and Tyrell, Marco has armies collecting gold in a few cities... her mates are all rich," Dagen noted.

"You see, she is digging for the richest and most powerful Kings!"Sorcha called out like an almost righteously upset caring person."And now your father fell for it! I knew something was fishy about her! I could feel it! She seduced your father with that kind face and smiling eyes!"Sorcha said eagerly. She was actually watching Sienna after she was taken out of that amber even though she appeared to be weak and dazed! She saw how handsome and powerful Sarcos was and jealousy rose within her heart!

"Hm, rumours had it, that she is really so kind, otherwise we were all dead," Dagen said a bit confused by his beloved mate.

"But she barged into our family just like that! She annoys me! I should be the only Princess of the Dragon Kingdom."Sorcha noted.

"But you are, my love! She is the Queen. You are still the only Princess."Dagen smiled trying to coax her.

"But Princess to be Queen! I'm already mated with you, and you are supposed to become the next King soon! "Sorcha shook her head disappointed. "But now, with her in the game, your father will be even stronger with the backing of her powerful and rich mates! How would you overcome him? "she furrowed her brows worriedly.

"I'm not sure yet! I bet I have to start training harder."Dagen nodded his head understanding his mate's worries suddenly." But are you not happy you are here with me? I was living just by hope I see you in my arms one day." he pulled Sorcha tighter to himself.

"But I do not want to live in her shadow. She is young too! When I will become the Queen? When I'm 100 years old?"Sorcha asked bitterly.

"Well, I can get some other Kingdom for us, then, hm?"Dagen cuddled her up protectively.

"But I was to be the Dragon Queen, not her! I was here first. She doesn't even have animal form! She is like a little weakling under my feet, which needs to be trampled on!"Sorcha shook her head. "We need more power now! I need to get someone strong to my side, like that Sarcos!" she thought aloud.

"But don't you love me?"Dagen looked at her in surprise.

"Aww, of course, I do, you are my everything, but I need to sacrifice myself again to protect us." she bit her lips.

"But why? Am I not strong enough to protect you?" he looked at her shocked.

"Yes, you are, but I want to be the Queen of the world. I'm the one to deserve it, with my purest heart and sweetest voice, goldest hair and my kindness. I spent years in that crystal just to bring you back..." Sorcha sniffed pitifully. "Am I not younger and more beautiful than her?" she asked him cutely.

"You are the most beautiful." Dagen looked at her in love.

"So, you need to help me to get her out of the picture and get Sarcos on our side. And you need to become the Dragon King."She noted.

"But why?"Dagen watched his scheming mate in awe. His mind was completely tangled!

"So you can be the King by my side. It is time you show your father that you are better than him. If I get King Sarcos, you will be not able to be my mate as a Prince anymore!"Sorcha reminded him worriedly."I can not live without you Dagen! I do need you most by my side, you are my life... did not I prove it to you?"She looked seductively at him.

 "Yes, yes you did!" "Dagen nodded and kissed her gently."But please, for now, be nice to my new stepmother, yes?"

"Sure, I will be nice to her like to a stepmother she is!"Sorcha chuckled wildly and kissed Dagen. He embraced her tightly and tried to get on top of her, but she pushed him back gently."Not now! I need to get ready to greet your father," she chuckled." I need to look better than her, so I outshine her! She needs to learn her place!"Sorcha noted and stood up.

Dagen looked at his mate lovingly. She was so cute brushing her long golden hair by the mirror. They were slightly more blonde than Sienna's, and Dagen could not help to have a flash of Sienna's kind face entering the crystal to save his mate." Sure, I'm grateful to Sienna, but maybe Sorcha as a woman can see something in her I can't?" He was thinking..."Well, my father deserves her then, but she seemed so kind..."

"Why are you so quiet?"Sorcha looked at Dagen as she went to peek out the window as she was getting ready.

"Come look Dagen, your new stepmother is there! She is walking next to your father as everything belongs to her!" she shook her head bitterly.

"Technically it does!"Dagen murmured somehow unsettled.

"I will show you the real beauty, stepmother! "Sorcha chuckled wickedly.

Sorcha made herself look the most beautiful as she could! She looked young, fresh and breathtaking. Just her blue eyes were cold as ice!

She clenched into Dagen's arm and went to meet her in-laws in the garden.

Sienna noticed the young couple walking closer to them. Her heart warmed up.

"They are so pretty and young and in love together."She sighed happily to her new mate. It kind of made her feel happier with all of this!

Sorcha and Dagen came closer and Sienna with Thunder stood in their place to talk to them.

"My son, Sorcha, you look well."Thunder said caringly.

"Thanks to you father, and your new Queen."Dagen nodded and Sorcha smiled sweetly at them.

"Sorcha, how nice to meet you, "Sienna said kindly. "And you Dagen. You look so cute together."

"Same as you stepmother."Sorcha nodded coldly."I see that you have my father-in-law all wrapped up. Nice to make acquaintance." she nodded her head and then furrowed her brows as if thinking." Where is the Scorpion King? I want to give him my thanks for saving me." she looked at Sienna with slight disdain.

"Sarcos went home." Sienna sighed. "I will give him your thanks."

"Not to worry, I prefer to do it myself."Sorcha lifted her chin up proudly.

"Ok, I have to invite you both over then. " Sienna smiled kindly, but she noted Sorcha was not as innocent as she looked.

"No need, I will hold a banquet for him in our Kingdom. "Sorcha looked at Dagen.

"As you wish," Sienna nodded. She had this uncomfortable feeling in her stomach from Sorcha. She was rude!

"I like your dress."Sorcha pointed at Sienna's blue gown.

"Thank you," Sienna nodded.

"But it is too old-fashioned for me. The younger Royals like me, are wearing more modern dresses, you see" She showed Sienna her beautiful dress provocatively.

"You look lovely." Sienna nodded. She decided to ignore Sorcha's childish comments and act like the Queen she was, above petty people...

"So how many mates do you have?"Sorcha asked curiously.

"Five," Sienna replied patiently. She got it Sorcha did not like her at all and hoped they would move along soon.

"Hmm, that is a bit much for my taste, "said Sorcha. "One will say that two will be enough for you. Why don't you have a father-in-law to kill your weaker mates, he is strong enough?"Sorcha smiled provocatively. 

"Do not mention this again, please!"Sienna said firmly." I love all my mates! Rather go take care of yourself, you just awoken," Sienna said with a forced smile. Even though she did not expect to be Sorcha's best friend, she was getting hurt in her heart. She did not understand Sorcha's disdain towards her and had no will to listen to her blabbering. This whole situation was hard to chew and Sienna was still sensitive inside. She did not want to show her tears in front of Sorcha, so she pulled Thunder's hand."I'm getting cold, please excuse me, my King, I like to go inside."

Thunder did not get her hint."As you wish my Queen. The guard can escort you. I will spend some time with the kids." he replied curtly.

"You have surely a lot to talk about."Sienna nodded with a forced smile. Then she hid her hands in her sleeves and walked fast through the snow to the castle door.

"Show me to my room, please."She asked the guard.

"This way my Queen."He led her back through the corridors...
