as Charles heard a very familiar voice, he tried to sit up and compose himself.

His hair was a shade of white-platinum, long with a ponytail slightly covering his eyes. It looked fine and well-kept, giving off a soft impression. His bright blue eyes had a mysterious and somewhat calm expression.

He then put on a black cloak with silver lining, giving off a formal or wintery vibe. There was also a white scarf around his neck, adding to the cold and wintery feel.

(Author: Although he's a still a young boy considering his appearance, he still cared about the way he dressed)

After fixing himself up, he walked towards the door and opened it.

Revealing a girl with golden hair tied up elegantly, adorned with a red ribbon that complemented her look.

Wearing a majestic red dress with intricate gold detailing, it had a design that was both grand and ostentatious. The dress had a slit that showed off her leg, highlighting her elegance. The skirt was adorned with white lace, adding a classic touch to her outfit.

(Author: Is Nero the main female character? Hm, for now, I'll just observe how the story unfolds and decide later on who the main female character will be since I decided to add a romantic element to this fanfic)

Seeing Charles stunned by her appearance, she giggled lightly and spoke with pride.

"Do you fall in love with my appearance? Hehe, it's only natural since I'm the most beautiful woman in Chaldea. Umu!"

She puffed out her chest as if proudly flaunting her assets.

The room made Charles tilt his head, observing the personality of the woman before him.

'Indeed, she truly looks like the one from the game, huh?'

Remembering her cheerful and positive attitude, Charles thought.

He then decided to tease Nero a bit. He put on a thoughtful face.

"But I think I saw a woman more beautiful than you at the cafeteria."

(Author: The woman he's referring to is Artoria)

"If you think about it, she does have a face and hair similar to yours..."

Hearing his words, Nero's face grew slightly frown and she pouted at Charles.

Indeed, she knew very well who had a similar appearance to hers—Artoria.

"Why does everyone compare me to her? I'm also a great emperor! Umu~"

Her statement made Charles smile faintly, and then he asked.

"Alright, if that's the case, then who are you?"

He still asking this despite that he already knowing her identity, because this is the first time they're met.

"Fufufu~ I am Nero Claudius! The greatest emperor in Roman history, a talented singer, protector of the arts, and of course, the most fascinating! Umu~"

The frown in her face and pout disappear as she introduction herself.

"Ah, so you're the famous Roman emperor known for her tyranny?"

Ignoring Charles's sarcasm, Nero spoke firmly.

"Impossible! I am an emperor who brings joy to my people and art to the world! I am Nero, the protector of beauty and happiness! Umu~"

Seeing Nero's confidence, Charles couldn't help but be surprised and slightly impressed.

"Ah, I see. Then, let's talk about something else, shall we?"

But then he realized that he hasn't introduced himself yet.

"Ah, yes, I should have introduced myself first."

"I am Charles I, King of Britannia, and despite our kingdom often facing challenges, I strive to rule wisely for the prosperity and glory of my people."

Charles introduced himself with a hint of pride and formality.

"Ah, such a serious king! Good, good! But after meeting me, you will understand how a true emperor rules with grace and flair! Umu~"

Charles narrowing his eyebrows, and speak with calm tone, reply Nero's statement.

"Indeed, I understand that as an emperor, you might feel superior, but remember, Nero—whether it's a kingdom or a throne, it all comes with great responsibility. A king is not just a symbol of grandeur but also a leader who bears a heavy burden for his people."

His face seems hardened and serious as he continues speaking.

"Nero, I appreciate your perspective, but the essence of leadership isn't just about shining with opulence. It's about fulfilling your duty to your people and ensuring their well-being, not just your own beauty or personal glory."

His statement is clear and firmly. Made Nero smile faintly before she replying his statement.

"Ah, I understand that you, as a king, must be serious about your duty... but look at Rome! We know how to celebrate life, art, and victory—something that seems to be missing in your burdened kingdom."

Her voice is full with playfully, as she complained his kingship. But then Charles just responded with closing his eyes seems to thinking about something and then he open his blue eyes. And speaking with confidence tone as he Replied her statement.

"Nero, Being a leader is not just about creating something beautiful to be remembered by, but rather ensuring that those we lead can live in peace and prosperity, even when you're pass away."

(Author: Charles I kingship is resemblance to kingship Artoria, but Charles himself not a slave for his people)

(Author:He took the path where he as a king had to communicate with his people well so that he himself understood what their problems were and tried to solve them)

(Author:For him, a ideal kingdom is a kingdom where the king and their people live peacefully when they're life together. If the King only thinks about himself and his own ideals then the kingdom will eventually be collapse, as well as if the people feel uncomfortable With how the King rule Wich lead to a Rebellion)

(Author:He thinks a king is just someone who leads a kingdom because of the approval of his people, he also thinking a king has complete responsibility for his kingdom, every action and move the king makes has its own impact on his kingdom)

(Author:But funfact there were times when he was called a tyrant because his justice was so cruel. When he treated the people that doing something wrong like Betray the Kingdom or Rebellion against Kingdom are a trash and then Execute them in public)

(Author:but still he not denying his Tyranny. He thinks that humans themselves are born with two main nature, Namely good and evil. And he was the person that accept both His good and evil nature)

(Author: that's why he always respect the way other king/emperor kingship but still he is also stubborn in his kingship)

(Author: and remember this Charles I is a OC I'm created so it's not resemble to the real Charles I in history but well there's still a similarity)

Author note:helloo well I'm here to telling you something about the mc, more precisely his personality. I'm myself before is not sure about his personality should be. But the more I'm writing the more I'm understanding his personality. I'm finally realized why I'm writing his personality in chapter 1 [Neutral-balanced]? That's because the way Charles talk is can be different from His usual self when he face different person. His personality depends on the person he is talking to.

Sometimes he is acting childish, really a childish person that being grumpy after he doesn't get what he wants or being so easily get embarrassed when he caught doing something wrong.

And sometimes he is a person that serious, when the topic going serious like a talk about kingship that shown you in this chapter and some else serious stuff basically even though he sometimes act childish he is also can act like a great king Even though it rarely seen.

and also Fyi the personalities of Charles I and Charles himself have merged.

So they're basically one same person now.

That's what I'm thinking about his personality. what do you thinking about his personality?
