Chapter 5: Chapter 4: Khârn and Kabanha
The legions that invaded Ophelia VII were mainly led by the Champions of Khorne. With their extreme worship of Khorne, they had destroyed countless human worlds.
Now they intend to burn down the empire's second holy place, adding a significant enough weight to the demise of the human empire.
But their plans were thwarted as Dukel regained consciousness from his loss of control.
With the assistance of the Battle Sisters and Space Marines, Dukel easily suppressed the invading enemy.
Always charge ahead, like an invincible flag.
His godly figure, even though he never said much, still attracted countless warriors to follow him spontaneously.
Wherever his sword strikes, demons and fallen warriors will be terrified.
The dual-wielded chainswords and monomolecular swords have become a highly personal symbol, destroying the invaders' resistance like a whirlwind.
Dukel's effective and swift counterattack continued until the arrival of a fallen warrior.
This is a fallen warrior who has been completely transformed into a demon. He has a pair of huge horns on his head and his sturdy body is wrapped in tattered red power armor.
This distinctive appearance allowed Dukel to recognize at a glance that this was the former 12th Legion of mankind, the World Eaters.
Khârn, once the most loyal warrior under the command of Angron, the Primarch of the XII Legion, has now betrayed the Imperium of Man along with his Gene-Father and is completely loyal to Khorne.
Angron was a very tragic Primarch.
Each Primarch inherited certain traits of the Emperor when he was created.
Guilliman's rationality, Sanguinius's nobility, Vulkan's immortality and
other qualities will all show extremely distinct personal characteristics as the Primarchs grow.
But so far, no one has been able to guess what characteristics Angron inherited.
Because when the Butcher's Nail was implanted into Angron's brain, he became an out-of-control beast. The only emotion his brain could accommodate was anger, and any emotion other than anger, including rational thinking, would bring him great pain.
In the memories of Primarch Dukel, every time he talked with the Emperor about Angron,
——The Emperor would coldly refer to Angron as "it" or "Number 12".
It is obvious that in the Emperor's mind, Angron is not only not his son, but not even a human being, but just an unintelligent beast.
It was precisely because of the Emperor's ruthless treatment that Angron became the first Primarch to betray the Imperium of Man after Horus launched the Heresy.
As a beast, Angron is indeed powerful enough.
In the process of launching the rebellion, Angron first beat Guilliman to the ground.
He also used his body to carry the huge War Titan and threw it away, saving the life of the Primarch Lorgar.
Later, under Lorgar's manipulation, Angron was compelled to ascend through sorcery and became a Daemon Prince of Khorne.
After becoming a demon, Angron completely lost his brain and became even more powerful. During the siege of Terra, he even forced the Primarch Sanguinius into a desperate situation.
As the descendants of Angron, following such a cruel and unintelligent Primarch, the fate of the World Eaters was destined to be tragic.
Dukel looked behind Kahn, thinking that the person appearing with him would be his brother Angron, who had already become a demon.
But unexpectedly, the one who came was another Khorne Daemon, Kabanha.
This Great Daemon of Khorne was responsible for the intensification of the blood thirst in the Blood Angels Space Marine Regiment.
During the early days of Horus's Heresy, Kabanha set up an ambush on a remote planet, ambushing and severely injuring the Primarch of the Blood Legion, Sanguinius.
This caused the Holy Blood Legion warriors to fall into madness because the Gene-Father was severely injured.
In that battle, the Space Marines who shouted that they would live up to the blood of Sanguinius unleashed amazing war potential and became warriors even crazier than the demons of Khorne.
They tore into pieces every Chaos Daemon they could see.
Although that battle caused the demons to flee back to the warp in fear.
However, it also exacerbated the genetic defects of the Blood Angels, leaving behind the scourge of blood addiction.
When he saw these two guys appear, a hint of confusion flashed in Dukel's eyes.
According to the original plot, shouldn't it be Tzeentch's Blue Flame Tyrant who besieged Ophelia VII?
Could it be that the Blue Flame Tyrant sensed the revival of the Primarch and fled in advance?
Well, this is quite strange.
"I never thought that after ten thousand years, I would still meet the Primarch on the battlefield."
Kahn held a blood-red giant axe and looked at the Primarch in front of him, with a burning fighting spirit rising in his eyes.
For him, who has fought for thousands of years and received the blessing of Khorne, only the powerful Primarch is a goal worth challenging.
"Son of Angron, where is your father? Why, my foolish brother, have you not had the courage to appear before me till now?"
Dukel asked arrogantly, the chainsaw sword in his hand seemed to sense the fighting spirit and buzzed.
Although he is not the original soul, he has fully integrated the memories of the body's previous owner and harbors a deep disdain for these traitors.
If not for their foolish rebellion, humanity would not have descended into the dark age it suffers today.
What he finds even more contemptible is that these weaklings chose treachery and sought the power of the Ruinous Powers when they betrayed the Emperor.
After all, the Primarch of the Second Legion had always confronted the Emperor head-on with a blade in hand, rather than resorting to cowardly schemes.
Although they were permanently expelled from the group, there remains ample reason to despise them for their cowardly behavior.
It is precisely because of their cowardice and stupidity that the Imperium of Man must bury the corpses of tens of millions of Astra Militarum soldiers every day just to endure
"Angron simply made a wise choice. My master can make you lose control the first time, and he can do the same the second time."
The Great Demon Kabanha of Khorne walked forward, his huge body as big as a mountain and the bat wings behind him spread out wantonly, making him look even more majestic.
He nonchalantly uncovered the secrets buried in past history.
Before the real battle comes, he must first tear apart the Primarch's mental defenses.
"you?"
Dukel naturally caught the key words quickly. The Primarch's brain, which was no less powerful than a biological computer, understood the cause and effect in just a moment.
He had been shocked and confused by the actions of the Second Primarch before.
Even Angron, with the Butcher's Nails implanted in his brain, chose to suppress his resentment in the face of the Emperor.
Although each Primarch has his own extremes.
But no matter how warlike the Second Primarch was, he had no reason to draw his sword directly against the Emperor.
It turns out that there was a trick of Khorne in this. No, with Khorne's stupid brain alone, it is impossible to influence a Primarch in his prime without knowing it.
There may be some conspiracy behind
Dukel couldn't help but dwell on it.
What exactly was his relationship with the Second Primarch's original body?
He had died unexpectedly in his previous life and now occupied this body, a second chance at life gifted by fate.
By that logic, the Second Primarch was practically a good brother he had never met but shared an unshakable bond of life and death with.
And yet, his good brother had been treated like a dog in the past.
No matter what others thought, this was something he could not ignore
Anyway, Dukel definitely couldn't stand it!
"It turned out to be you guys!"
Dukel laughed loudly, his steel-like muscles in the power armor trembling with anger. He pointed at the Khorne Daemon in front of him.
"Come here and die, bastard!"
"Hahaha, come on!"
Kabanha rushed forward with a grim smile.
Dukel showed no fear.
Even though the power armor he was wearing now was an antique from ten thousand years ago.
But guess what?
After 10,000 years of development, the human empire's technological level has not only not improved, but has regressed.
An old antique has suddenly become cutting-edge technology!
"In order to please my Lord, I have honed my skills in battle for countless epochs, but you have been lost in the maze of uncontrollable things for thousands of years."
"Even if you are the Primarch, you will surely die today. No one can prevent the human empire from being slaughtered!"
"The blood of all living beings and the skulls of all warriors will be collected by my Lord under His Brass Throne!"
Kabanha brandished the giant blade in his hand, constantly trying to use words to disturb Dukel's mind and thus affect his attack rhythm.
But in the face of his attack, Dukel simply swung the chainsaw sword in his hand and blocked the giant blade's fierce attacks one by one.
Then he kicked Kabanha to the ground, and the huge body of Khorne slid on the ground, leaving a groove of more than ten meters.
You must know that this is the Great Demon Khorne, whose huge body is the nightmare of all physical creatures in the universe.
But he was kicked away so easily by Duke.
"That's it?"
Dukel was not good at speaking. He just looked down at Kabanha, who was like a dead dog, and asked a question.
It seemed like he really couldn't understand why he boasted loudly but was so weak when it came to fighting?
Kabanha was kicked in the back, which was nothing. After all, he had been fighting with others for countless epochs, and getting beaten was a common occurrence.
But the other party's question made him spit out a mouthful of blood.
In truth, the question was so casually posed, so lighthearted, that even the Great Daemon of Khorne couldn't help but feel a pang of guilt.
For a moment, it almost felt like standing up and kowtowing to Dukel, 'My apologies, Lord Dukel. I failed to provide you with enough enjoyment.'
"Poof! -"
Thinking of this, Kabanha spat out blood again, purely out of anger.
I really look down on demons.
At the beginning of the battle, Khârn and other Khorne demons nearby gathered around.
Being able to witness the duel between the Great Demon and the Primarch with their own eyes is a rare feast for this group of battle maniacs.
At this moment, the demons saw the great demon Kabanha of Khorne spitting blood.
"Good! Good fight!"
"Why are you kicking him? Chop him, chop him!"
"Keep fighting! I want to see blood all over the floor!"
The Khorne demons, including Kahn, cheered.
They felt no sorrow at all for the injury of the Great Daemon of Khorne.
Although all the demons present knew that
if Kabanha lost this duel, it would most likely mean the failure of the entire battle.
Once Kabanha is defeated, all demons will also die tragically.
But so what?
They will still cheer heartily for Dukel's great hit.
They would not disturb this noble duel because of this; nor would they care who won or lost in this duel.
They only enjoyed the duel itself and the passion it brought them.
Just like what they shouted before every battle, blood sacrifice to the blood god, skull sacrifice to the skull throne!
As for whose blood was shed and whose head was chopped off.
Sorry, the Lord doesn't care.
The Lord only cares whether the atrocity is pleasing to the eyes, whether the battle is honorable enough, and whether the head is worthy of decorating his throne.
If the Lord doesn't care, then these demons certainly don't care either.
Just die.
If I miss this duel, wouldn't it be worse than dying?
