Chapter 25: Saint King Spear
I came out of seclusion with a noticeably different Aura to my previous self. Though I should say it was only different to those who had the ability to see it. Which wasn't many of those who were around. So I was pretty safe. Checking the token it seems my Spear is ready. After I grab the spear perhaps I'll check and see what kinds of methods I can do for points.
It didn't take long before I arrived at the Refiner Hall. It took more effort to locate the Deacon in charge of the Hall. Meaning I didn't find them. Instead I found a senior who might have the ability to help me.
"Excuse me Senior, I was hoping you could help this junior find where to pick up an order?" I asked politely.
"Hmm, does Junior have a claim token?" The senior asked. He knew there was only one order ready at the moment but he still had to check the token.
"Yes, this junior has a claim token that has turned green. The senior who gave me the token said that once the token was green it meant my order was ready." I said, showing the token.
"Good, follow me I will bring you to the one who crafted it." the Senior said, then began walking.
I followed him to a small round table where a man with a short colored beard was sitting. He wasn't a super crazy strong cultivator but he was indeed in a higher realm than even the senior who brought me to the man.
"Senior, the one who ordered the weapon previously, has come to collect it." the Senior said.
"Oh! Good, I was starting to think he didn't care about it. It's been ready for a week." the man said, eyeing me. "Ah! Well it seems like you were busy in a restriction. Seeing as how this token has just turned green. Guess I can't fault you for not knowing then. Here it is. As you can see for yourself it turned out nicely." The man said, taking the token and handing over the spear.
Now compared to the spear I had been given before this one would be considered nothing more than junk. However for my current purposes it was perfect for me. I took it in my hand and felt the spear's ability. It indeed had a thunder attribute which would come in quite handy. I was indeed pleased by this result.
"Seniors ability is great. This spear is exactly what I wanted. Thank you for refining a fine weapon for this junior to use." I said, respectfully.
"Ahahaha, that thing is nothing. Such an easy job. Now go and use it well." the older senior said.
"Then this junior will leave first." I said, before leaving the area.
"That boy will have his entire generation of young women seeking him out." the bearded senior said.
"Oh! What makes you say that senior?" the Senior said.
"Because he is hiding a wealth of might back. You saw him fight those matches as I did. He was holding back a considerable amount of might, and women naturally flock to the strong. Sir Dao Lord has a good son!" the bearded senior said.
"That's a bit early to make such predictions isn't it?" the Senior asked.
"HA, mark my words! That young man will have a harder time fending off the young women than he will have defeating his enemies." the bearded senior said.
I was on my way to the board to see if there were any good quests. When I arrived and looked at the board… there weren't many things that provided anything good for me. Or they were beyond the scope of my realm. That was when a deacon happened to see me. All deacons were at minimum Emperor Realms.
"Disciple, are you looking to earn points? Perhaps you should participate in the classes that us deacons teach for those who are below the saint king realm." the deacon said.
"Sir deacon is right. This disciple is indeed in search of more points. I'd also like to go on a quest. May I ask how many points us disciples earn by attending these classes?" I asked, politely.
"Compared to a quest it isn't much but if you attend 3 classes a week for 5 years you'll earn about that much on the quest." the Deacon said, trying to come up with a figure on the spot.
It was clear to me that they hadn't yet figured out a suitable rate. I glanced at the quest board and saw the reward for the lowest payout wasn't a small number. In fact it was easily half if not more than half of what I had just spent. It seems like I'll have to find a way to take these quests as soon as possible.
"Then this disciple will try attending a class." I said, in an attempt to appease this Deacon.
"Good! The Temple master Miao Fei Ping has a class that starts soon. You should attend. It will be held in the arena you had previously fought in." He said before walking away. "Whoo thank goodness I was able to complete that order. But why did the Temple master want to have him attend the class? Oh well it does not matter to me." he thought as he walked away. Though he had an excellent poker face.
Since I had said I would, I decided to arrive early and begin meditating. Whatever this class was going to be, it was going to be annoying. I could only attempt to bear it as long as possible. The class didn't start soon. It took 4 hours before the class had even arrived. In this time I had completely made the new spear mine. It was only a saint king grade. Compared to the high rank open heaven artifacts I was given this thing was a cinch. Anyways it was time to begin the class.
