Wanda Maximoff Multiversal Harem Hunter

Chapter 57: The Final Strike Pt. 2

The cold air outside the industrial warehouse on the outskirts of Athens was heavy with anticipation. The structure loomed like a decaying beast, its rusted exterior and broken windows hinting at the battles it had witnessed in the past. Tonight, it would bear witness to yet another. Wanda Maximoff stood at the forefront of the assembled Morlocks, the Chitauri Scepter gleaming ominously in her hand. Her crimson magic pulsed faintly around her, casting eerie shadows on the surrounding area.

Natasha Romanoff crouched beside her, her gaze sharp as she examined the distant guards patrolling the perimeter. "Six on the outside, another four by the entrance. And I'm willing to bet they've got more inside."

"Take out their communications first," Wanda said, her voice steady but cold. "We can't let them call for reinforcements."

Natasha smirked, already moving. "Consider it done. Don't have too much fun without me."

Wanda shook her head, a faint smile tugging at her lips despite the tension. "I'll try to restrain myself."

Callisto stepped up, her spear gleaming in the moonlight. "Are you sure about this? Taking the fight to them like this?"

"It's the only way to make sure they don't come back," Wanda replied firmly. She glanced at the Morlocks gathered behind Callisto. "This ends tonight."

Callisto nodded, her expression hardening. "Then let's finish it."

Natasha moved like a shadow, her steps silent as she circled the warehouse. The Project X guards were vigilant, but they weren't ready for her. She slipped behind the first guard, her knife slicing through the cables of his comms unit before he could react. A quick strike to the back of his head sent him crumpling silently to the ground as a lifeless corpse.

One by one, Natasha disabled the guards' communication devices, her movements precise and methodical. By the time she reached the main communications hub, she had already taken out four guards. The hub itself was small, a makeshift setup inside a shipping container near the warehouse.

"Too easy," Natasha muttered, planting an explosive device on the central console. She stepped back, watching as the timer ticked down. The explosion lit up the night sky moments later, sending sparks and debris flying.

Natasha activated her comms. "Comms are down. You're clear to go loud."

"Perfect timing," Wanda's voice replied, laced with a mix of approval and teasing. "Come join the fun."

"On my way," Natasha said, already moving.

At the front of the warehouse, Wanda stepped forward, the Chitauri Scepter held high. Its energy hummed in her grip, mixing with the crimson glow of her chaos magic. She stared at the heavy steel doors that marked the entrance to the facility, her determination evident in her eyes.

"Let's make an impression," Wanda murmured.

The tip of the scepter glowed brightly as she channeled her magic into it. With a wave of her hand, a surge of energy shot forward, colliding with the hinges of the door. The explosion was deafening, the steel doors blasting inward with a force that sent them hurtling into the warehouse. The doors struck several Project X soldiers, crushing them against the far wall. Blood splattered as their bodies crumpled, the twisted steel embedding itself into the concrete.

"Well," Wanda said, lowering the scepter slightly. "That's one way to knock."

"Gruesome, but effective," Callisto muttered, stepping up beside her.

Natasha reappeared, falling in step with Wanda. "You sure know how to make an entrance, Maximoff."

"I aim to impress," Wanda said with a smirk.

The warehouse erupted into chaos as Project X soldiers poured out of side rooms and upper levels, their weapons blazing. The Morlocks surged forward behind Callisto, their mutant powers lighting up the dark space.

Wanda charged in, the Chitauri Scepter glowing with chaotic energy as she unleashed a devastating wave that sent soldiers flying. One soldier landed near her, groaning as he tried to crawl away. Fracture extended from her arm, its tendrils wrapping around the soldier.

**"This one tastes different,"** Fracture commented, its tone almost curious. **"Not like Hydra. Less... metallic."**

"They're just a different variety of trash," Wanda replied, hurling another wave of chaos magic toward a group of advancing soldiers.

Natasha darted through the melee, her pistols barking as she took down soldier after soldier. She slid behind a stack of crates, reloading smoothly before popping up to fire again. "You call them trash, Maximoff, but they're surprisingly persistent for garbage."

Wanda laughed, the sound sharp and almost manic as she deflected a burst of gunfire with a barrier. "They're persistent, but they're not winning."

Callisto and her Morlocks fought with raw ferocity. Marrow's bone spikes flew through the air, impaling soldiers and pinning them to the walls. Feral leapt from shadow to shadow, her claws ripping through armor and flesh with terrifying precision.

The battle raged, the warehouse filled with the sounds of screams, gunfire, and the crackle of magic. Wanda's chaos energy flared, disarming soldiers and tearing apart their bodies. Natasha moved with lethal efficiency, her strikes precise and devastating.

Fracture devoured two more soldiers, its voice humming in Wanda's mind. **"I could get used to this. Keep them coming."**

"Don't get greedy," Wanda muttered, her magic blasting another group of soldiers into the far wall.

As the battle began to turn in their favor, a loud voice cut through the chaos. "Enough!"

The remaining soldiers parted, revealing a tall, imposing figure clad in advanced combat armor. His helmet bore the insignia of Project X, and his voice was cold and commanding.

"I am Commander Magnus," he said, his gaze sweeping over the carnage. "And this is where you realize resistance is futile."**

Wanda stepped forward, the Chitauri Scepter glowing brightly in her hand. "If you're the one in charge, then you've got a lot to answer for."

Commander Magnus smirked. "I don't answer to anyone, least of all you."

Natasha stepped up beside Wanda, her pistols aimed at Magnus. "He's got the arrogance of a man who's about to lose."

"Let's make sure he does," Wanda said, her magic flaring as she prepared for the next wave of battle.
