Virtual reality; The Realm of Legends.

Novias handed the spellbook of Pyromancy to Agni and after that he also pulled out something else aside from the spellbook and also handed it over to Agni. It was his gift for outstanding his body's capabilities and proving that he won't at least be killed by a random monster in the wilderness.

Agni took the item and kept it safely inside his virtual inventory. After keeping the item, he looked at Novias and asked, "may I stay here for some time? I also want to help the village in its Chrysis."

Novias was shocked upon listening what Agni had said just now. 'Even after what Kris did to him, he is still willing to help the village and even want to stay here… interesting…'. Novias thought like this on one side but on the other, he thought very differently.

'what if this man has ulterior motives for Coming in the village? What-if this man want to destroy the village or cause strife in the village by colluding with the assassin squad?'.

Novias is mind was in turmoil and he was not able to judge good or bad in this moment. He had decided many things for the fate of the village but this time, it was completely different. For a very long time, the village had stopped excepting outsiders in the village because the outsiders always harmed them or tried to take the village's treasury. But this time, Novias felt that it was different from everything which had happened before. He finally planned to invite the kid in the village but as soon as he was about to open his mouth to say something, the village alarm rang and everyone went into turmoil and quickly closed their shops, secured their kids, and picked-up their weapons and headed to the village's gate to defend it from the massive horde of Monsters which could be seen from a mile away.

Novias who was standing in the guest room of the training-yard frowned after listening to the War horn blowing. He quickly made-up his mind and said, "I will let you stay here kid but on one condition. You must help the village to defend against the Hord of un-ded monsters and beasts included; if you can't help the village in securing it and making fifty% of the soldiers survive the Hord of monsters, then I will consider you to be unworthy in my eyes to protect the village and if this happened you know that you have nowhere to go afterwards."

After saying his piece Novias left the guest room and headed to the gate of the village along with the other soldiers.

It was now the time for Agni to check his system quest-log and check what happened in more detail. He only offered to help the village because of this quest-log after all!
