Ultimate System: Savior of World

Chapter 2: Chapter 2

I have four starting spells. They are [Wind Cutter], [Low Bind], [Flames], and [Healing].

Two of them are spells granted by the system when I pick mage as my first job, and the other two come from Elder Scroll. While reading them, I noticed something. Something that can change the way I am fighting.

"System, how there is no cooldown in all of them?"

"That is because they are common spells, host! Only a special kind of spells that require cooldown. The Master-Level spell from Skyrim, for example."

Right. Even with that restriction, it is still very powerful. That means the majority of the spells will not require me to wait, and I can spam them. Of course, I need a lot of mana to spam them, but the potential of this news is huge.

I shake my head and look at the stack of money in my hand. Lucky for me, there is an atm near my house. I can take three thousand dollars from my bank account and put it in my inventory. I can buy equipment from the system's shop with money in my inventory.

"What do you recommend for me, system?"

"With no equipment restriction, you can pick something durable but light enough to move around. What about these?"

Three panels appear in front of me.

[Giant Rabbit Body Armor]

{Attribute: +5 VIT}

[Giant Rabbit Headgear]

{Attribute: +3 VIT and +1 WIS}

[Giant Rabbit Pants]

{Attribute: +2 VIT and +2 WIS}

[Giant Rabbit Shoes]

{Attribute: + 3 VIT and +1 WIS}

Not bad.

"Other than the bonus attribute, they also give you a set bonus, host! When you equip them all, it will give you +10 WIS and +10 INT bonus."

"And they are cheap. Buy them all, please."

"Roger!"

I quickly equip them and am ready to enter the [Instant Dungeon].

"Instant Dungeon!"

A panel and a list of things I can access appear in front of me.

"Zombie, huh? Well, let's do this. [ID: Zombie]"

A second later, the entire world changed. I am still in my room, but the outside is different. The sky is now red, and I can see zombies roaming the street. I smile a little and leave my apartment. I can see the zombies notice me and run toward me. Sadly for them, the fence prevents them from getting inside the apartment grounds.

I open my palms and point at the zombies. A second later, a torrent of flame appears from my hand and burns the zombies. The [Flames] spell costs me ten MP per second and deals ten damage per second. Not only that, it also sets the enemies on fire, dealing two damage per second for two seconds.

What does that mean? That means the zombies do not last long.

One by one, the zombies are going down. Sadly, my mana pool is shit, and I cannot take them out all at once. Luckily, I leveled up, and my mana pool was restored.

"Burn!"

I keep burning all the undead, and after killing the 23rd zombies, there are no more zombies.

"Will they respawn?"

"Yes. Once you get out of here, they will respawn. As long as you are not out of this place, they will not respawn."

I see. It is unlike in the game, where they keep respawning after a certain time. They will stay dead and only appear when I re-enter this place.

"What about the time? Will the time stop here or something? I have a feeling the boss room is that massive tower in the distance."

"That is right. That tower is the boss' room. As for time, you don't need to worry. Time stops on the outside, and each time you return here, you will appear in the previous place you get out. That can be good and bad at the same time. It is good because you don't need to run to your despawn area, and bad because you spawn where you just despawn. That means you need to be careful not to get out of here in the middle of a dense area full of monsters."

"Right. That is a concern. I will be careful. What about getting out? If I get out of this place in another location, will I appear in that area instead of my home?"

"You don't need to worry. You will appear at the place where you enter."

"Perfect."

With that knowledge, I start to explore the dungeon.

=====

"That was close."

I pant as I sit on the ground after killing the last zombie. I open my status window and see my progress.

Stats Point: 50

Each time I level up, I will get ten SP to spend on my stats. I want to increase my HP, but I am holding it back for now and using my gear as my protection. As for my class, it levels up nicely. The class level has a lower requirement to level up, making it higher than my actual level.

Other than level, I get something from all the fighting.

[Pyromancer]

{You are someone who loves fire, and fire loves you}

Effect: All Fire-Based attacks deal 10% more damage

I get a trait after I kill my 100th zombie. What is a trait? It is a passive effect that I get after doing a certain thing. And this is not my only trait.

[Aspiring Healer]

{You can heal, and you use that healing power the right way.}

Effect: All healing effects are 10% more powerful

This is because I keep healing myself after being swarmed by zombies. One hand attacking and the other healing. It takes a lot out of me, but the EXP is great.

[Beginner Mage]

{You are stepping into the path of Mage and start your journey into a Mystic Path}

Effect: Increase mana regeneration by 20%

I get this from getting my class into level ten. This is what lets me burn my enemies faster. My mana regenerates faster when I am out of battle but still regenerates when I am in battle. With this, it generates even faster than before.

Other than that, I also increase my spell level.

[Flames] [Active] [Level: 20]

[Wind Cutter] [Active] [Level: 7]

[Heal] [Activate] [Level: 13]

[Bind] [Active] [Level: 5]

[Flames] is the most used spell and heals following from behind. It increases the attack but also increases the mana consumption. I really need to do some enchanting work and create something to reduce mana consumption.

Because of the Elder Scroll magic system in me, I can do enchantment. However, I need to ask one thing.

"System, can I do the Restoration Loop?"

"Yes, host. However, the creator put a cap on it. At least you can add more than two enchantments, host. Depending on the material, you can add up to ten enchantments."

"Really? Can it stack with previous enchantments?"

"Yes"

I grin at that answer. I open the [Shop] and browse the things I need for enchantment. I pick them one by one and open the cart section. I wince a little and close the [Shop] for now. It cost me forty thousand dollars for all of them, and at the moment, I only have one thousand dollars for all the zombies I kill.

For now, I buy Mana and Health Potions for my hunt. With the preparation finished and my MP third full, I continued my hunt.
