Chapter 21: Resident Evil World
Before embarking on my next journey, I decided it was crucial to eliminate Dhanush's father and Gana. Although the world would remain paused, I wanted to ensure that there were no loose ends that could potentially cause issues in the future.
By taking care of these matters now, I could leave with peace of mind, knowing that everything was properly tied up. I asked Masood for Gana's location and told him to find out where Dhanush's father was as well.
Masood soon sent me Gana's location. I paused time and flew to the site. I discovered that, despite being found guilty in court, Gana was still being held at a police station instead of a jail.
I assumed Umapathi or Sripathi had used their connections to keep Gana at the police station. Upon entering the lockup area, I found Gana lying on a bench. I used my telekinesis to snap his neck. Seeing Gana dead, I felt a sense of justice for the suffering he had caused the two women in the movie.
After exiting the police station, I resumed time and returned to the bungalow to await Masood's reply about Dhanush's father's location. Once I received it, I paused time, flew to the location, and used my telekinesis to end him. With all loose ends tied, I was ready for my next journey.
I looked at my three wives—Hansitha, Janu, and Padma—who were frozen in time. I kissed each of them on the forehead.
I decided to enter the '' Resident Evil '' movie world and instructed the system to play the movie. I adjusted the timeline to when Alice faints in the bathroom at the beginning of the film. I looked at the transparent virtual screen playing in front of me and silently thought about entering the scene from my heart into the world. Instantly, I appeared beside Alice, who was lying unconscious, wrapped in a shower curtain before me.
I felt aroused looking at her naked body but I held back. I don't want to be a pervert, acting without her consent, even if she would be loyal to me forever afterward due to my UNWAVERING LOYALTY ability. I don't want to force myself on any goddesses and leave them with bad memories.
So, I quickly paused the flow of time and went to the drawer in her house where weapons were stored. I took them out and sent them to my system storage. Then, I flew out and began searching for weapon shops. I found many in Raccoon City and emptied their stores.
I also went to the military base and arsenal, taking all kinds of guns, assault rifles, snipers, knives, swords, grenades, flashbangs, shotguns, machine guns, and more. I emptied all the ammo as well and stored it in my system storage. Additionally, I went to the grocery stores and emptied them, as I could use the supplies after the T-virus leaked and provide good food and drink to Alice, Jill, and others.
Finally, I found the Federal Reserve. When I went in, I saw a mountain of gold bricks amounting to around 9000 tonnes. Shocked by the shining mountain, I quickly stored all of them in my system storage.
I think I have looted everything I wanted. I went out and emptied all kinds of clothes into my system storage, as they might be needed in the future. Then, I returned to Alice's villa and placed a black suit that I had found in one of the stores. It was quite similar to what she wears in the future movie plot.
I didn't want those soldiers to see her in the revealing red dress that she wore in the movie. Looking at her, I thought about how much Alice had suffered alone in the future, fighting against Umbrella for many years.
I felt pity and heartache just thinking of her suffering alone. I wanted to be the one to protect her, help her, and be there for her all the time, never letting her feel alone.
I walked out of the bathroom and sat down on the bed, then started the flow of time. After waiting for a while, I heard the bathroom door open and saw Alice walk in with a confused and afraid look in her eyes, not knowing what was going on.
I saw Alice in her iconic black suit, and she looked absolutely stunning. However, her demeanor didn't quite match the fierce female warrior she would become in future stories. This stark contrast underscored the immense suffering she must have endured in the post-apocalyptic world, where solitude and rigorous training had transformed her into a formidable fighter.
As Alice walked past me, her eyes widened in astonishment at my handsome appearance. "Who are you? What's going on here? And who am I? Why don't I remember anything?" she asked, her voice tinged with doubt as if she sought the answers within herself.
I approached her calmly and said, "Hello, beautiful. I'm Vlad. Don't worry; you're absolutely safe, and no one is here to harm you."
She studied me intently, searching for signs of truth in my words. I continued, speaking softly and reassuringly, "Your name is Alice." As I uttered her name, I could see the wheels turning in her mind. She began to murmur softly as if grappling with the fragments of her memory.
I looked at Alice, trying to soothe her troubled expression. "Don't worry; your memories will come back soon," I said gently. "You were made unconscious by the Red Queen. She released a nerve gas, which caused your memory loss."
Her brows furrowed as I continued, "You were working as security for the entrance of Umbrella in Raccoon City. This villa we're in? It's the entrance to that facility. The ring you're wearing… it's part of a fake marriage arranged by the company to keep things under wraps."
I watched her closely as she processed this information, trying to piece together the fragments of her past. The shock of my words seemed to ignite something in her, a flicker of recognition or perhaps a deepening curiosity about the life she once knew.
Alice's eyes narrowed slightly, a mix of curiosity and concern swirling in their depths. "Why did the Red Queen do that?" she asked, her voice carrying an edge of desperation as she sought clarity in the haze of confusion surrounding her.
