And more demon blood meant more points to exchange!

"Alright, I'll be there soon," Enel replied, feeling a wave of excitement.

After checking the location on his Rotom phone, Enel relaxed. Even though he had been stationed at the base provided by the Demon Slayer Corps, where he could convert five or six demons daily, these demons were rather weak. They only compared to the demons from Mount Fujikasane, with very few worth more than 200 points.

Though small numbers accumulated over time, with the Corps saving up two to three thousand points in just a few days, the wait had grown tedious for Enel. He was bored. Now, with Tanjiro's call, he had an excuse to step out and break the monotony.

After informing Rengoku and Sakonji, who were overseeing the complex management of the base, Enel transformed into a bolt of lightning and disappeared into the sky, leaving the two astonished.

Watching the dimensional merchant vanish, Rengoku's usual somber expression held a rare trace of longing.

Sighing quietly, he turned and headed back inside the base. 

Unlike Enel, whose main duty was to manage point exchanges, Rengoku and Sakonji had missions to complete. This new base was more than just a place for transactions—it was part of the Demon Slayer Corps' long-term plan to establish a base city that would serve as the Corps' central headquarters.

According to Kagaya's calculations, within a month, the Corps would have at least 10,000 points in circulation—enough to exchange for a mythical Pokémon! While Enel downplayed its strength, Kagaya learned from him that with 10,000 points, they could acquire a Pokémon at level 70 or above.

For reference, the strongest Hashira, Stone Hashira Gyomei Himejima, was only level 68!

In just one month, they could add a combatant stronger than a Hashira to the Demon Slayer Corps. With results like that, why should Kagaya remain conservative or plot cautiously against Muzan Kibutsuji? His plan was now simple—hunt as many demons as possible, gain points, and strengthen the Corps!

Thus, the foundation for a city—aptly named "Demon Slayer City"—was laid, destined to become a symbol of hope for future generations!

In under two hours, Enel arrived at a gloomy, eerie hill.

Sensing with his Observation Haki, he immediately detected three familiar presences.

"Got it," Enel muttered, smirking as he turned himself into pure lightning and descended.

Tanjiro stood with his sword drawn, its sharp edge pointed at several demon "mummies" at the cave's far end. 

Nearby, Inosuke and Zenitsu sat exhausted at the cave entrance, forming a triangle with Tanjiro as they kept watch.

In order to prevent the demons from being exposed to sunlight and vanishing, the trio had worked through the night, digging this cave.

Now, they were thoroughly worn out.

Who could have predicted that what seemed like an ordinary demon-catching mission would lead them to face the Fifth Lower Moon of the Twelve Moon Demon?

Just thinking about it sent shivers down their spines.

Had it not been for their Pokémon's evolutionary abilities, Tanjiro would have been unable to sever the spider demon's threads, let alone capture the demons.

They could only thank their luck for having defeated the demons, one by one.

There were five in total.

Two female demons and a grotesque spider-like demon had been easy enough for them to defeat. But the demon referred to as "Father" by the Lower Moon proved to be incredibly strong.

Even when Inosuke and Zenitsu teamed up, they were no match for him.

Thankfully, Tanjiro entered an evolved state, overwhelming the demon with sheer force.

Ultimately, with the combined efforts of Tanjiro, his Pokémon, Nezuko, Inosuke, Zenitsu (in his sleep), and their Pokémon, they successfully subdued the demons.

Tanjiro's eyes brightened at the sight. "Sir Enel!" he shouted, overjoyed.

As soon as the words left his mouth, a shirtless figure materialized before him.

"Hey, Tanjiro, and the others too! It seems like you've all made some impressive gains since we last met," Enel said, smiling.

Earlier, during his scan of the area, Enel had used his Observation Haki to detect the presence of five demons. He couldn't help but be surprised by Tanjiro's mention of a "big guy." After just a few days apart, Tanjiro and his team had managed to wipe out an entire demon lair!

The points from these demons alone would amount to nearly half of the Demon Slayer Corps' entire savings. Truly, there were chosen ones in this world! Enel's eyes gleamed as he looked at Tanjiro with admiration.

"No doubt about it!" he thought. "The young man in front of me must be the 'Child of Destiny' that Sir Leo spoke of!"

"I never imagined my first customer would be someone favored by the will of the world… I guess I really am destined to be a dimensional merchant!"

After exchanging a few pleasantries, Enel and Tanjiro got straight to business, preparing to trade the captured demons.

Zenitsu and Inosuke traded the Mother Demon and Brother Demon, respectively. The points they earned were added to their own totals—1,300 points for the Mother Demon and 1,500 for the Brother Demon. Along with their previous 800 points, the two of them crossed the 2,000-point threshold, becoming VIP Level 2 members of the Transdimensional Chamber of Commerce. They also received their very own Rotom phones, just as they had planned before arriving.

With these phones, communication between the three would become much easier, allowing them to better coordinate their demon-hunting efforts.

As agreed, Tanjiro handled the remaining trades. The Sister Demon, the weakest of the five, earned him 1,000 points. The Father Demon, a formidable foe, was worth 2,000 points. The most powerful of them all, the Fifth Lower Moon, was converted into a massive 4,000 points, slipping quietly into Tanjiro's account.

"Congratulations, Tanjiro," Enel beamed. "Your total transactions have now surpassed 10,000 points. From this moment, you are officially a VIP Level 3 member of the Transdimensional Chamber of Commerce!"

Enel was more than pleased with the progress of the three young slayers. In his mind, their future accomplishments could surpass even those of the Demon Slayer Corps' top warriors, the Hashira.

After all, no matter how powerful the Hashira might be, if they didn't encounter strong enough demons, their ability to earn points would be limited. But if Tanjiro truly was the "Child of Destiny" as Sir Leo had said, his path would be fraught with challenges. Yet, with each trial, he would gain incredible opportunities that any warrior would envy.

Although Enel didn't know exactly what Tanjiro had gained from this battle, the 7,000 points alone were enough to prove that his luck was extraordinary.

Of course, Tanjiro had no intention of hoarding all 7,000 points for himself. After a heated discussion—almost an argument—the three agreed on a fair division of the points from the battle. They had earned a total of 10,000 points, with Tanjiro clearly contributing the most. Eventually, Tanjiro was forced to accept the largest share, though he initially refused.

In the end, Tanjiro took 5,000 points, while Inosuke and Zenitsu each received 2,500. Though Tanjiro insisted on taking only 4,000, Inosuke's pride wouldn't allow him to shortchange his companion. As for Zenitsu, having been asleep during most of the battle, he believed the others had done the bulk of the work and waved off his share, saying he didn't deserve any points.

Thanks to Zenitsu's intervention, Tanjiro finally accepted Inosuke's suggestion.

This distribution plan was, in fact, the most equitable. Inosuke's pride prevented him from taking more than Tanjiro, but he also wouldn't accept any less than his fair share. This made him the ideal person to mediate the points distribution.

Finally, Inosuke and Zenitsu used over 3,000 points to unlock the bond evolution for their Pokémon, greatly enhancing the team's strength. They also purchased numerous nutritional supplements to aid their Pokémon's growth, along with a skill that was too complex for them to understand on their own.

As for Tanjiro, with his hefty 5,000 points, he didn't choose to resurrect his dead family members. Instead, focused on becoming stronger and achieving VIP Level 6 as soon as possible. Following Zenitsu and Inosuke's example, he purchased a special item: Charcoal—a magical object that amplifies the power of Fire-type Pokémon's moves—worth 1,500 points. He also bought some growth-enhancing nutrients for his Pokémon, along with two powerful skills.

With that, Tanjiro and his companions' transaction came to an end.

"I look forward to our next trade," Enel said with a grin. Then, in a flash of lightning, he disappeared from their sight.

Watching the dimensional merchant vanish into the moonlit night, Zenitsu muttered, "It's over…"

"Yeah, it's over," Tanjiro replied.

And then—

'Thud! Thud! Thud!'

Three bodies collapsed simultaneously.

Tanjiro, Inosuke, and Zenitsu lay sprawled on the cave floor, utterly drained, their eyes empty as sleep overtook them. No one but themselves knew just how grueling this battle had been.

If Tanjiro hadn't awakened in the most critical moment, tapping into a mysterious new power that caused the scar on his forehead to glow and stretch like fire, they might not have survived.

Tanjiro had been at his limit, only staying conscious out of fear of what the demons might do. Had it not been for that, he would've passed out long before Enel arrived.

But now, it was all over.

Not only had Tanjiro become a VIP Level 3 member, bringing him closer to his ultimate goal, but Zenitsu and Inosuke had also unlocked the power of bond evolution, strengthening their bond and increasing their power.

  Trainers with bond evolution and trainers without bond evolution are completely different existences!
