Tohka Yatogami's: Marvel Journey

Chapter 30: The One-Eyed Dragon

"Really, things haven't been peaceful lately." While they were chatting, Harry couldn't help but complain.

"Oh, what else is going on?" After hearing Harry's complaint, Tohka became a little curious. After all, Harry's position meant he probably had access to information that normal people wouldn't hear. What she didn't know was that she was in a similar situation, but this guy never paid attention.

"Don't spread this around, it's a pretty hidden piece of information. Recently, it seems the military created some kind of monster. They've been working really hard to catch it, but haven't succeeded yet. However, it seems they've kept this hidden from the media." Harry looked around to make sure no one was eavesdropping, then quietly spoke to the group.

"Oh, is it a green-skinned giant?" After hearing Harry's words, Tohka suddenly remembered a movie she had seen. If she wasn't mistaken, this was around the time the Hulk was born. After all, the Hulk in the comics was ridiculously strong.

"Yeah, that's the one. I'm sure you've heard about it too." Harry wasn't at all surprised that Tohka knew about it. After all, she had access to almost everything he did. This information was certainly not a secret at the higher levels. If it weren't some mess caused by the U.S. military, S.H.I.E.L.D. would have intervened already.

"Well, I only recently heard about it too." Seeing that Harry misunderstood her, Tohka decided to admit it. She also made a mental note that whenever she had time, she'd check out the information Tony had opened up to her. She was sure there would be plenty of unexpected things there.

"Also, about the Stark Industries incident, you might not know this, but when Tony fought that giant robot, the media only reported that Tony won. However, there's something everyone deliberately ignored. The actual destruction of the robot was caused by a purple-black beam of light. We were all speculating at the time..."

"..." Listening to Harry speak enthusiastically, Tohka awkwardly turned her head away. After all, the others might not know, but Tohka knew full well that the person responsible was her. So, she had to reduce her presence, but luckily, no one suspected her.

"Alright, we don't have much time, let's head out." While they were chatting, Harry realized the time was getting late, and New York nights weren't exactly peaceful.

"Okay, you guys go ahead. I'll stay here, since Aunt May isn't getting any younger." Peter Parker didn't object. He was still worried about Mary Jane and Gwen. As for Tohka... he was just thankful if she didn't go out causing trouble.

"I'll head out first, no need to see me off, Harry." Checking the time, Tohka immediately put on her armor and flew off quickly. Just then, she received a message from Tony. It seemed like he had encountered something and needed her help.

"That guy's armor is really convenient." Even Harry was a little envious of Tohka's armor, though he knew it was something he could never have. After all, their company focused on bioengineering.

"How many times has this guy's villa been destroyed?!" When she arrived at the seaside villa, Tohka found it in a state of disrepair once again. In the past, Tony would have efficiently fixed it, but this time, he left it as it was.

"You're here, Tohka." Tony greeted her when he saw her. However, his face wasn't looking too good. Tohka took a quick look and immediately understood the reason. The house was surrounded by bodyguards in black suits. Given Tony's personality, he wouldn't have hired these people, so the result was clear: Tony had been captured.

"So, what's the situation? Do you need my help?" Looking at the group, Tohka didn't hesitate to remove her armor. She put on her spiritual outfit, and her large sword reappeared in her hands, exuding a murderous aura.

"Wait, these aren't enemies. Come with me, it's this guy who's looking for you." Seeing Tohka's readiness for combat, Tony was startled. He quickly stopped her, realizing that if a fight broke out, it would be a real mess.

"Uh?" With a puzzled glance at Tony, Tohka then removed her spiritual outfit. She followed Tony into his villa. Since the only person who could have asked Tony to notify her seemed to be one person, and given the well-trained bodyguards around, Tohka relaxed.

"Hello, one-eyed grandpa." Sure enough, as soon as she entered, Tohka saw Nick Fury sitting on the sofa drinking tea, and she greeted him enthusiastically. However...

"Cough, cough, cough." After hearing Tohka's words, Nick Fury choked, followed by a series of violent coughs. It took him a while to catch his breath.

"Hahaha, well said, one-eyed grandpa. Wow, haha... Tohka, how did you come up with that nickname?" After hearing Tohka, Tony immediately burst into gleeful laughter. Clearly, he had spent quite a bit of time getting the better of Nick Fury lately, and he wasn't about to let this opportunity slip by.

"Uh." Giving Tony a confused glance, Tohka still answered his question loyally, "Wasn't it you who said that? After he left that day, you kept calling him the damn one-eyed dragon. Also, when I asked you before, you said he was from the same era as your father, and also..."

"Stop, stop, my little ancestor, don't say anymore." As Tohka explained, Tony immediately became anxious, because he could clearly see Nick Fury's dark expression getting darker by the second. As for why this was happening, Tony could guess it without even thinking. "Can't you use your brain? Don't be so honest! Sure, I said it, but you can't just blurt it out like that!"

"..." Interrupted, Tohka gave Tony an innocent glance. She didn't understand why Tony had to stop her. As for Tony, he almost slapped himself, regretting letting her speak.

"Cough, cough." Nick Fury gave Tony a fierce glare, mentally cursing him out. After a few dry coughs, he finally caught Tohka and Tony's attention and continued, "I'm here because I need something from Tony... and your adopted daughter, Tohka, to help."
