Chapter 9: Chapter 8 The Corridors

Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, we had conversed a little bit outside, before he had said "I got to go." I just never would have expected this, however. " You mean to tell me that the super secret mysterious place that you wanted to tell me about and show me was the hangout center's corrider's?" I say to Georgie, feeling confused.

"Well it's where I," he plops down, "Go sometimes." He pats the space next to him, "Have a seat."

We're sitting in the door entrance way, which is the start of the corridor. Occasionally, a person will walk by us, not sparing a glance. At first, we were silent, but then we started talking after a few minutes.

His hands become relaxed into his lap as he doesn't clench them anymore because he's that type of person that likes to fidget With his string from coming off his shirt.

There were small conversations, light flirting, light joking, slight playing; which lead him to run his hands through my hair. roughly which I might add, and having me do the blocking.

While we're in the middle of a rant about how Dr. pepper is better than Coca-Cola, Sap nap Walks by us and then gives us a look, while giving me a look of, "You should totally ask him, he might say yes," then I give him a look of, "Probably not and we're just friends." Georgie wouldn't say yes. This is Georgie we're talking about.

He shrugs, then turning around and walking off.

I appreciate sap nap's advice, I really do, but I need to appreciate what I already have here. His friendship, his voice, his eyes, his same like as Dr. Pepper, and his super secret mysterious spot, which might I add, is not so super secret, but that's just me.

It's night time at the hangouts center, and there is less and less people, they're leaving, but me and Georgie are in front the window, seeing the trees. "I'm leaving soon."

"When will you be back?" He stares outside, the light dancing on his face from the moonlight. His arms, propped, on the window sill. They're hidden by sweater sleeves. the sleeves, scrunched, revealing a brown watch.

"Why, you gonna miss me?" He looks at me while his lips twitch upward. "I barely know you, dude." He laughs.

See what I mean?
