In the middle of the arena, a giant hologram coin flipped and landed on heads. Ai nodded and adjusted her glasses. "It seems like I called it correctly, I chose to go first. I begin my turn by playing the field spell Magical Citadel of Endymion." The arena shook as stone buildings and towers burst out of the arena ground. Magical circles materialized all around them, spinning to life as they shined. "I then set my right Pendulum scale with Servant of Endymion. This triggers Citadel, placing a Spell counter on it." A woman with long blond hair in black and blue rob with orbs attached to it. The women materialized floating beside Ai, clutching a wooden staff in their arms. One of the magical circles spun and condensed into a ball covered in symbols.

Annie furrowed her brows at the sight. 'I heard of  Endymion before, but this is the first time I'm facing it in a duel.' Her hold on the cards tighten as she glanced at them. 'This hand isn't the most suitable hand to deal with Endymions.' She chuckled to herself and stared straight ahead. 'But I'm sure I'll handle whatever she throws at me.'

Ai glanced at Annie and noticed her shaking hands but chose to ignore it in favour of continuing her turn. "I then play Magister of Endymion on my left Pendulum scale, triggering both Citadel and Servant." A tall man in a green robe covered in amber orbs materialized to the left of ai. Another magical circle condensed into a floating ball while one of the orbs on the rob of Serven began to glow.  "I then end my turn." Annie took a deep breath, then in a quick motion drew a card as she exhaled.

"I draw!" Annie grimaced at the card before sighing. "I have no choice, I need something to help deal with her field. I ACTIVATE Reinforcement of the Army." Once more a magical circle condensed into an orb, while an orb on both Servent and Magister started to shine. "I then summon the monster I searched for, COME FORTH HERO BORN FROM THE SKYS ABOVE! Destiny HERO - Celestial!" In a flash of light, a humanoid in a black and red suit with giant blades on its back appeared.  "I then attack you with Celestial, activating his effect allowing me to target one of your face-up spells and destroy it while inflicting 500 damage to you. I target your Servant. GO, MY HERO!" Celestial launched his blades slicing, one Servant in half and then shooting straight to AI while the other one flew through Ai. Her side of the field shook as both blades flew through her.

"I then end my turn." Ai adjusted her glasses as she straighten her footing on the arena.

"Hmm, smart choice of monster, you even chose to destroy Servent instead of my Citadel. I faced many opponents who didn't know of its ability to save itself at a cost of a spell counter." Annie smiled at the compliment as she scratch the back of her head. 

"Thanks, I made sure to study up on archetypes that I might face."

"Smart idea, now then I shouldn't keep you waiting. I draw, then I play Magical Abductor on my right Pendulum zone." A woman with long grey hair appeared next to Ai as both Citadel and Magister gained a spell counter. "I then play Spell Power Grasp, placing a spell counter on magister and adding another Spell Power Grasp from my deck to my hand." The giant card on the field broke down into a shower of particles that started to gather to form a purple orb that flew towards Magister as Citadel, Abductor and magister gained another spell counter.

Magister of Endymion: 3 counter

"Then I activate Magister's effect by removing 3 spell counters from it. Special summoning it and Servant from my extra deck to the field and adding a spell counter to both of them." Magister floated down and landed on the arena as 3 orbs from his rob flew off and fused. Forming a huge ball of light that eventually exploded to reveal Servent, an orb of each of their robs glowing. "Then because Servant has a spell counter of them, they can attack you directly. Go! Show your opponent your might!" Servants started to float as the robs on their rob glowed, raising their staff they launched an orb of energy that flew around Celestial and pierced through Annie. Her arena shook as her life points started to drain. "I then end my turn." Annie let go of the breath she didn't realize she was holding.

"Ok my turn, I draw! I start my turn by summoning Elemental HERO Solid Soldier, when they are normal summoned I can special summon 1 Level 4 or lower HERO monster from my hand. I summon Destiny HERO - Drawhand, which triggers their effect as when they are special summoned by a HERO effect I can have both players draw. I chose to have both of us draw a card." Both Ai and Annia drew as a humanoid covered in silver armour crashed into Annie's side of the field covering it with a cloud of dust. As the dust disappeared it revealed not only Solid Soldier but also a man in a white suit wearing a cowboy hat.

"I enter my battle phase, GO CELESTIAL! Attack Servant and destroy Abductor!" Celestial threw both their blades, aiming both at Abductor and Servent.

"Not so fast! I activate Magister's effect, by removing 3 spell counters from my side of the field to special summon a monster from my Deck that I can place a spell Counter on. Removing a counter from Magister, Abductor and servant, I special summon Dark Red Enchanter." Before the blades reached both Servant and Abductor, shining orbs flew off the three monsters that fused into one large ball of light that exploded to reveal a humanoid wearing a red and gold rob holding a metal staff. While the Abductor was sliced in half, Servent teleported next to Ai right before the blade reached her. The blade flew past where Servant was and sliced through Ai, her arena shook as her life points drained.

"What?! How is Servent still alive!" Annie couldn't help herself from shouting out loud. Ai snickered at the outburst.

"It seems you still have lots to learn. Servent has the effect that if she is destroyed in the Monster Zone, I can place her into the Pendulum Zone. "

"No matter, that won't stop my HEROES! Go Drawhand, take down Magister!" Drawhand pulled out a silver gun and fired toward Magister. Just like Servant Magister teleported right before the bullet could pierce them, and teleported next to Ai. Annie frowned at the sight. "I end my turn."

"I draw, I start my turn by Pendulum summoning Abductor from my extra deck to my extra deck zone and Crusader of Endymion from my hand." Magister and Servent raised their hands and summoned forth two large magical circles. The circles flew towards the field, Abductor materialized from one of the circles. From the other one, a man wearing blue armour materialized. "I then use my normal summon to allow Crusaders to use their abilities." Crusader's armour opened up to reveal parts of the man underneath as the pieces floated in the air. "I then use both Abductor and Enchanter to link summon Day-Breaker the Shining Magical Warrior." Both the monsters disappeared into a large magical circle that condensed into the form of a humanoid with golden armour and sword. "When Day-Breaker is linked summoned they gain a spell counter, they also gain 300 attack for each spell counter they have.

"I play Spell Power Grasp, adding a spell counter on Magister which causes both him and Servant to also gain another spell counter. Then by removing 6 Spell Counters from Magical Citadel of Endymion. I can special summon this card from my hand. Come forth and show my opponent what true mastery looks like. Endymion, the Master Magician!" 6 orbs floating in the sky flew to each other, causing a huge flash of light as they collided. A figure in a black and purple robe with gold highlights was revealed as the light died down. "Endymion effect activates when they are special summoned with their effect I can add one spell card from my graveyard to my hand, and I add Spell Power Grasp to my hand. Also because I summon them at the bottom left of Day-Breaker, they also gain a spell counter. I also activate Crusader's effect, giving Magister an additional spell counter and gaining 600 attack points."

"I once more activate Magister's effect, by removing 3 spell counters from them I summon both them and Abductor to the field." Ai took a look at her watch. "We're running out of time, better end this. I activate Endymion's effect, by discarding a spell card from my hand I can target and destroy 1 card on the field. I chose to destroy your Drawhand." Endymion gathered power in their hands and shot an orb of pure energy at Drawback, which exploded in a cloud of particles at contact. "Then by removing 2 counters from Day-Breaker, I can destroy another card on the field. This time I chose your Celestial." An orb formed in front of Day-Breaker who using the flat end of their blade hit it towards Celestial. Celestial disintegrated into a pile of particles when they came in contact with the orb. "I then enter my battle phase, I at-"

"In response, I play the quick spell The Flute of Summoning Kuriboh! Summoning Winged Kuriboh from my deck!" The card jetted out of her deck and Annie grabbed the card. She froze as she saw her cherished shiny card in her hand, before summoning them onto the field. A winged fluff ball appeared on the field, making chirp-like sounds as it flew around the arena.

"Stalling won't allow you to win, you only gave me the advantage by giving me more spell counters. Go Endymion, attack her Solid Soldier." Endymion raised his staff and launched dozens of orbs toward Solid Soldier.

"In response, I play the quick spell Transcendent Wings! By sending Winged Kuriboh and 2 cards from my hand. I can special summon 1 Winged Kuriboh LV10 from my deck to the field." The orbs shot through Solid Soldier, disintegrating him upon contact. As that happened Winged Kuriboh's wings started to grow as a dragon-like shell formed around them. "I then activate Winged Kuriboh LV10's effect, tributing this card to destroy as many attack position monsters you control as possible and inflicting damage equal to the combined original ATK of those destroyed monsters. End this Wing Kuriboh!" Wing Kuriboh roared out of its dragon head as it charged toward Ai, bringing all of her monsters with them. The arena shook as the monsters exploded as they slammed against Ai's side of the field.
