This Honkai: Star Rail is way too Minecraft!

Chapter 14: Chapter 14: Is It Too Late to Reconcile Now?

"Of course, no problem."

It was just two pieces of cobblestone; Fu Zhu naturally wouldn't refuse. Trading two cobblestones for a large sum of local currency sounded like an incredibly good deal no matter how you looked at it.

Fu Zhu knocked off the cobblestones and handed them to Herta. As Herta took the two palm-sized cubes from his hand, her eyes filled with delight.

"Setting aside everything else, just this compression technology of yours, which even I can't figure out, is enough to make you famous throughout the universe!"

Fu Zhu, however, didn't think much of it. He didn't realize that the person acknowledging his technique was Herta, a member of the Genius Society. Very few people ever earned her recognition.

However, even if Fu Zhu had known, he wouldn't have cared. After all, this "compression technology" pursued by countless geniuses was merely a minor passive ability he possessed as Steve.

"Pleasure doing business with you. You can leave now." Herta waved her hand, indicating that Fu Zhu and the others could go. She, on the other hand, shifted her entire focus to the cobblestone blocks in her hands, already pondering how to use these two blocks to simulate Fu Zhu's homeland.

"You really... just ditch people once you get the cobblestone." Fu Zhu heard Herta's tone and grumbled a little, but he wasn't actually angry.

Anyway, he had gotten the money. As Herta said, it was just business. Compared to partners, money was more important!

Although Fu Zhu and the others wouldn't think that way, Asta still felt the need to explain on Herta's behalf. "Sorry, Fu Zhu, please don't misunderstand. Lady Herta isn't actually a bad person, she's just extremely passionate about research, which is why she speaks like that. Please don't take it to heart!"

"Okay, okay. Well Asta, we'll head off then."

"Alright."

However, after leaving the swimming pool area, the trio didn't rush back to the Astral Express to find Himeko and the others. Instead, at Fu Zhu's request, they first returned to the place where they had initially met.

Fu Zhu hadn't forgotten that a large pile of Voidranger corpses lay there. Voidranger carapaces could be converted into leather.

Before embarking on their next adventure, Fu Zhu felt it necessary to craft a set of leather armor first to increase his defense, at least ensuring he wouldn't be killed in one hit.

The trio arrived at the zone near the Curio Collection Room and unexpectedly ran into Arlan, who was leading Security Department members to reclaim the fallen sector, engaging in combat with a few scattered Voidrangers.

"Let's go help them." Fu Zhu's eyes lit up upon seeing the Voidrangers. These were practically walking EXP pinatas, and they likely had plenty of leather and bones on them. Not a single one could be spared!

"Okay!" March 7th and Xing naturally had no objections, drawing their weapons and running over to assist. "Arlan, we're here to help!"

Arlan looked back and saw it was the trio, a grateful smile appearing on his face. "Thank you, all three of you. But please take care of yourselves; there are quite a few of these Voidrangers."

"Don't worry, I happen to know a little sealing technique." Fu Zhu glanced at the Voidrangers on the field. There really were too many of them. He couldn't guarantee he wouldn't get injured in this fight. Besides, Xing had been severely poisoned by the pool just a short while ago; he didn't even know if her health had fully recovered.

Even though she was a younger sister he had known for less than a day, he didn't want anything to happen to Xing here.

Fu Zhu immediately placed a crafting table beside him, then conveniently placed a dirt block nearby and started planting a tree.

He had only collected one oak log earlier. Wood was still very scarce; he needed to gather some on the spot.

Seeing her big brother starting to fiddle with his sapling again, Xing immediately moved forward to help delay the Voidrangers, preventing them from disturbing Fu Zhu.

March 7th also stood directly beside Fu Zhu, providing cover. "Fu Zhu, does this sealing technique you mentioned require wood?"

While freezing the charging Voidrangers with her arrows, March 7th glanced back at Fu Zhu, who was focused on chopping wood. "Yeah, I need wood to make some little props."

With enough cobblestone to make a stone axe, Fu Zhu's tree-chopping efficiency was incomparable to when he was punching wood bare-handed earlier. In less than half a minute, the oak tree he had just force-grown with bone meal was completely chopped down. He even picked up an apple from the ground on the side.

Fu Zhu quickly converted the logs into planks, then arranged the planks on the crafting table into the shape of several boats. The hand speed honed over years of gaming was no joke!

"Done! Arlan, Xing, fall back! Let the monsters come through." Fu Zhu, holding the boats, moved past everyone and placed them in a line, completely filling the entire corridor.

Although they didn't know why Fu Zhu had suddenly placed so many crude wooden boats on the ground, Arlan and Xing still retreated behind him with the Security Department members.

March 7th nervously drew her bowstring, staring at the Voidrangers charging towards Fu Zhu. Only a pile of wooden boats stood between them as an obstacle. Afraid Fu Zhu would get hurt, she prepared to freeze the monsters at any moment.

The Voidrangers were initially startled by Fu Zhu's casual wave that summoned several wooden boats. But when they got a clear look at the simple wooden boats that had appeared on the ground, their single-track minds couldn't help but feel contempt for Fu Zhu.

These crude boats didn't emit even the slightest energy signature. And he expected them to stop the Anti-Matter Legion?!

Isn't this Herta Space Station? Why is the intelligence of humans here so low?

Humans, die!

After the leading Voidranger let out a roar, the ones behind it also charged towards Fu Zhu together.

Fu Zhu, however, stood behind the boats with a faint smile, waiting for the exact moment they approached.

March 7th held her drawn bowstring, her heart filled with anxiety. The Voidrangers were almost upon them, but she still hadn't seen Fu Zhu perform any sealing technique.

"Fu Zhu, get back quickly!" March 7th prepared to release her bowstring to freeze the Voidrangers. As for the sealing technique Fu Zhu mentioned earlier, she simply thought he hadn't managed to prepare it in such a short time. At the very least, she had to help buy some time!

"Don't rush, let them come." Fu Zhu stared unblinkingly at the charging Voidrangers. The instant their toes touched the boats, in less than a single frame, the entire group of Voidrangers, like obedient little children, sat down directly in the boats.

Because of the direction Fu Zhu had placed the boats, the Voidrangers even ended up with their backs facing everyone.

March 7th and the others: ?

The Voidrangers: ?

Discovering they were trapped in the boats, the Voidrangers began to panic, wriggling their bodies trying to break free. However, only their upper bodies could move; their lower halves seemed welded fast to the boats within this space, utterly immobile.

March 7th, Arlan, and the Security Department members watched, completely bewildered. Xing, on the other hand, reacted almost instantly.

A smirk couldn't help but curl onto Xing's lips. Letting out a strange "Jiejiejie" cackle, she repeatedly tapped her baseball bat against her left hand as she slowly walked towards the trapped Voidrangers.

Hearing the eerie cackling from behind, the Voidrangers couldn't help but gulp inwardly.

Is it too late to reconcile now?
