The Vixen's Gambit: Tonight We Hunt

Chapter 130: The Strongest Alt Account, Activated!

"The Elysian Realm…" Raiden Mei pondered the term. "Elysia, who created this place? I've met many people here, but none of them have answered me."

"Well, you won't get an answer from me either, Mei~" Elysia spun around, then sat back down. "This secret isn't mine to tell, so I can't answer. But when you reach the end of this paradise, you'll naturally know the answer."

Another riddle. Elysia, Kevin, the people in the Elysian Realm… Was the Previous Era a gathering place for riddle-obsessed people?!

But she couldn't reason with them, and she couldn't beat them in a fight. Raiden Mei could only accept the situation.

"I—"

BOOM!!!

Just as Raiden Mei was about to speak, the ground began to shake violently, as if someone was shaking the entire space!

Even when facing powerful opponents before, Raiden Mei had never encountered something like this. But thankfully, she and Elysia were both seasoned warriors who wouldn't lose their composure easily. They both summoned their weapons and prepared for battle.

"…It seems to have stopped."

As if they were playing a joke, after the violent shaking, everything returned to normal, as if the previous events were a hallucination. If the chaotic environment hadn't proven that the tremors were real, Raiden Mei would have wondered if she'd fallen victim to Su or Aponia's powers.

"Earthquake?"

"I don't think so…" Elysia looked at the distant door, seemingly calm, but inwardly, she was experiencing a tidal wave of emotions.

Sorry, Hua. Although I asked you to dismantle the Divine Key, it looks like I'll be heading off first…

High-rise buildings, busy streets, cars…

Finally, Li Bei's alt account had arrived in a modern world!

It even looked somewhat sci-fi.

A tall, slender girl sat on a park bench, her expression subtly odd as she observed everything around her.

Alt Account No. 3, no car, no home, orphaned, and relying solely on meager handouts and her own efforts. Scavenging trash, delivering milk, assembling cardboard boxes… she was a multi-tasking worker. And even in such circumstances, she maintained an excellent academic record, the perfect model student.

Even Li Bei himself had to give her a thumbs-up.

Name: LEE (黎 Lí, just call her LEE)

Traits: Rapid Recovery, Quick Movement, Agile Reflexes, Brute Strength, Honkai Resistance, Advanced Honkai Energy Usage, Charisma, Honkai Affinity

Skills: Combat Mastery, Inch Punch, Future Prediction, Weapon Usage, Laborer Skill Set

Important Items: None

Energy: 29,352,851

LEE lightly flexed her right hand, easily sensing the Honkai energy flowing within her. And whenever she wished, she could use that energy to enhance her body. She might not be able to destroy the world, but punching through a steel plate was definitely within her reach.

Honkai Resistance, superior to Advanced Honkai Resistance, meant that under almost no circumstances would she be corrupted by Honkai or turn into a zombie. Honkai disease was completely ineffective against her.

Advanced Honkai Energy Usage meant she'd successfully mastered utilizing Honkai energy, even more refined than the Herrscher of Flame's own set – the latter was more about brute strength. It also meant that Li could maintain high combat power without any external tools, unlike Lihua, who was practically useless without the Judgment of Shamash, even unable to do a parachute-less jump from a thousand meters.

Just these two traits alone would allow LEE to thrive in the Honkai world, and this alt account had even more skills baked in.

Not counting the traits inherited from the main body, like Rapid Recovery, the Charisma trait was a godsend for farming energy!

Charisma: Your words will more easily garner goodwill and have greater persuasive power.

What did that mean? It meant LEE's goodwill-farming process could be drastically accelerated!

With some well-placed words, the goodwill would… heh heh heh~

As for the other trait, Honkai Affinity, it was somewhat tricky.

Honkai Affinity: Your adaptability to Honkai energy is enhanced, you will more easily be noticed and become a Herrscher.

If it was a system-given Herrscher power, like before, it would be great, but being noticed by the Will of Honkai and becoming a Herrscher in the Honkai world… it was a bit strange. But LEE didn't see it as a big problem.

Looks, personality, strength… This alt account was flawless - this was what 5 million energy looked like!

In terms of skills, LEE also had three new skills.

Combat Mastery seemed to be a further evolution of Li Bei's original skill. In unarmed combat, LEE was undoubtedly at a world-class level.

Weapon Usage, although it wouldn't allow her to fight barehanded, it would allow her to quickly adapt to any weapon.

Laborer Skill Set, a skill that Li considered to be purely for comedic purposes. This skill set included skills like plumbing, painting, delivery, etc. It could help her become a laborer!

What was the point? She wasn't planning to work! She was already financially independent on Earth! Why would she make an alt account to work?!

But, a Honkai world…

The moment she saw the system message saying she was in a Honkai world, Li thought she'd been transported to the timeline of the main game, 500 years after Lihua. She was overjoyed!

The reason was simple. Li's face wasn't exactly the same as Lihua, but they were practically identical.

When Otto and the others saw her face, they would think she was Lihua reborn! And she could do the classic misunderstandings, doppelgangers, and white moonlight scenes to rake in energy!

But reality gave her a smack in the face – forget Otto, Kallen, or Eleanor; she hadn't even seen Schicksal or Anti-Entropy.

If the system hadn't confirmed this was a Honkai world and she hadn't felt the Honkai energy in her, LEE would have wondered if she'd been transported to the wrong world!

Where was this place?

Where was she supposed to harvest energy?!

Despite having the strongest starting point, LEE was lost and confused.
