"To the right!" James shouted when he spotted a clearing among the trees. Aslan quickly turned, veering toward the indicated side. However, before they could reach the clearing, a burst of psychic energy lit up the air around them. James felt a jolt of terror; Hypno was playing with them. "Aslan, run faster!" he commanded as he sensed time running out.

The Arcanine accelerated, its paws moving like a golden blur through the mist. However, just when they thought they were safe, Hypno raised a hand and began to concentrate its energy. A bright flash erupted from its pendulum and a psychic barrier started to form before them. "No!" exclaimed James as he realized what was happening. "We can't let it catch us!"

With one last desperate effort, James felt there was no other option: they had to confront it directly. "Aslan! Get ready to fight!" he shouted as he released Cheshire, his Gengar. The ghost Pokémon appeared with a mischievous smile and bright eyes, ready to assist James in this difficult battle against powerful Hypno.

The attack hit squarely but Hypno did not seem intimidated. With surprising agility, it used Hypnosis in an attempt to put Aslan to sleep. James watched as Arcanine struggled to stay awake while enveloped by sleep waves. "Aslan! Resist! Fight against sleep!" James exclaimed desperately.

"Cheshire! It's your turn! Use Shadow Ball!" ordered James while releasing his Gengar again. Cheshire appeared and launched a dark sphere at Hypno. However, Hypno raised its hand and used Barrier creating protection that absorbed the impact of the attack. "This can't be happening!" thought James as he watched Hypno remain steadfast.

"Aslan! Attack again with Fire Fang!" James shouted again. Aslan tried to charge forward but Hypno was ready for him. With a swift movement, it used Confusion striking Aslan and making him stagger back. The level difference was evident; Hypno seemed to enjoy the challenge.

"Cheshire! Use Nasty Plot to boost your power!" ordered James knowing that Gengar could benefit from this moment to increase its special attack power. Cheshire concentrated its energy while Aslan struggled to stay upright after the last attack.

Hypno wasted no time and launched a Zen Headbutt at Aslan who barely managed to dodge it. "Watch out!" shouted James as he saw Aslan move quickly to avoid getting hit. The battle was reaching its critical point; although it was two against one, Hypno proved to be a formidable opponent.

"Aslan! Use Roar to destabilize it!" ordered James in a desperate attempt to break Hypno's concentration. The powerful roar echoed through the forest and managed to momentarily stagger Hypno. "Now! Attack with Extreme Speed!" both shouted in unison.

Aslan shot forward like lightning towards Hypno hitting before it could fully recover from the roar. However, Hypno wasn't finished; with a mocking smile it used Psychic to push Aslan back just when it seemed they were about to gain an advantage.

"No! Aslan!" exclaimed James seeing how his partner struggled to get back up again. The battle remained fierce; every move mattered and both Pokémon were quickly running out of energy.

"Cheshire! Launch another Shadow Ball!" ordered James determinedly. Cheshire fired off another dark sphere with all its strength but Hypno used Dazzling Gleam creating an explosion of light that deflected the attack hitting Cheshire directly.

James felt despair beginning to take hold as he watched his Pokémon struggle. "We can't give up now! Use Fire Fang, Aslan!" he shouted with all his remaining strength.

With one last surge of energy and determination, Aslan lunged forward again this time managing to hit directly on Hypno just as it attempted another psychic attack.

Tension rose with each passing second; James could feel his heart pounding hard as he observed Hypno's calculated movements clearly showing that each attack they launched seemed met with superior ability from Hypno.

"Aslan! Stay alert!" exclaimed James seeing how Hypno began concentrating energy again for another psychic attack. "Use Fire Fang again!" he ordered quickly.

Aslan rushed forward once more but this time Hypno was ready to counteract that movement swiftly using Psychic just before impact occurred causing psychic rays hitting where Aslan had been moments before creating an explosion of dust and debris obscuring visibility.

"Watch out! Dodge!" shouted James while trying to shield Wynaut with his own body as dust filled the air making it hard for them to see what was happening ahead.

Taking advantage of confusion created by explosion Cheshire slipped behind Hypno launching a quick Shadow Ball from shadows but Hypno reacted quickly spinning around countering attack with powerful Dazzling Gleam illuminating entire clearing like daytime.

James felt hope beginning to fade when he saw Cheshire stagger after receiving direct impact from brilliant move "Cheshire! Are you okay?" he asked worriedly watching how Gengar struggled standing upright.

"Don't give up!" encouraged James while watching Aslan regain posture after dodging previous attacks "Let's do this together."

With renewed determination James decided on changing tactical approach "Aslan use Roar again break its concentration." The Arcanine emitted powerful roar resonating throughout forest even trees seemed tremble under its might.

Hypno momentarily destabilized by deafening sound lost some focus just when Aslan charged towards him again full force: "Now's your chance! Attack with Extreme Speed!"

Aslan moved like lightning towards Hypno before it could fully recover from devastating roar impact strong however hypnos showed resilience rising quickly after blow landed.

"This isn't over," thought James watching how hypnos counterattacked using Zen Headbutt launching itself towards Aslan with devastating force "Aslan! Dodge!"

The Arcanine barely avoided strike feeling pressure from attack pass near him like violent gust wind battle reaching critical point both sides exhausted nearly at limit strength

James knew they needed finish soon or risk losing everything "Cheshire... Launch another Shadow Ball!"

Cheshire concentrated all energy into dark sphere while observing how hypnos prepared for another devastating psychic attack but this time different they were determined win

With determined shout Cheshire launched dark sphere directly towards hypnos just as it lifted pendulum prepare use Psychic once more
