She looked at me with a blank face not scared by my threat. "And you think I haven't already tried to see if you would even hurt me, while I dont know why you will not hurt me so please give me back my money."

"I am sorry but I can not return your money to you as it is different now, if you tried to use the coin you would probably get arrested." I said thinking to myself how my atempts were all failing. "I altered it with thaumaturgy."

She looked at me with intrigue in her eyes, she had heard of this art before. "That art hasn't been used practically for years now, why would you a petty thief know how to use it. It was a royal art until around 50 years ago when magic was first invented by the minds of Richard von Qaukening with the help of another man who's name is now lost to time. And you tell me now that you know how it works, only a select few who make money still kind of know how it works but most of the engraving process has been automized and people only cast a bit of magic to make the engravings."

"I did say that indeed I started studying thaumaturgy around half a year ago I believe, I am quite the profesional."

"A month you say that is not alot, maybe if you didn'tdo anything while studying but that would be hard." Only then did she see the gem I had engraved into my chest and the one on the bottom of my left leg. "How did you even manage to get those gems in there?"

"I engraved them its a whole process most people probably won't enjoy watching with their own eyes. It also hurts quite alot and if you put it in you can not take it out again. I used a special engraving tool to get it in." I thought to myself for a second and walked over to the bag I had put in the corner of the room and pulled out the hand axe with the destruction gem. If I hit her with this it would only erase her I would not have hurt her or even kill her. It would just erase her, like using a eraser to erase a small pencil drawing.

But I could not, she looked to much like my wife. I wanted to save her too not kill her or send her away. I walked up to her and told her: "Have you ever met a woman who looks an awfull lot like you, she got transported here by a teleportation circle from a different world."

"Yeah I think so, I have been out of the castle for a while now but I think there was a woman like that. I believe that she defeated the demon king of the north a while back when I departed she was fighting the devil of the east and negotiating with the angels of the south. But I can not answer your questions any further as I don't know any more."

"Thank you for letting me know, I guess my destination is the castle." As I approached the door to leave my room I noticed that she had grabbed onto my hand and asked me the following: "You shouldn't go everyone there is extremely powerful and will kill any foreigner on sight. Tell me though why do you want to find this woman so badly?"

"I require her, I need her." As I say this I start recounting my story leaving out certain part like the engraving process of the gems and the killing of the 2 guards even though she already knew of this. Slowly my story came to an end and I saw that she looked a bit sad for me, not to the point of crying but still she felt the pain I had gone through.

"I want to travel with you!" She said enthusiastically out of nowhere. I had not expected this. I had not seen this coming I immidiatly wanted to decline it, but the further I thought the more advantages there were for taking her with me and the more disadvantages there were in not letting her go with me.

"You already used you truth skill didn't you to see whether I would accept or whether I would decline." I asked suspisious of her. "No I actually did not do that. I would have if I still had a use of the truth skill today but I dont, sadly. I only used it twice on you once to see whether you would hurt me when I got here and one to see who killed the men afront the gate of this city. Hey atleast you gave them a quick prayer instead of just leaving their corpses there to rot now their souls can rest forever in the heavenly realm. Had you not done that I am afraid you they would have forever been bound to their corpse."

After thinking it over for another minute or so I came to the conclusion that there are too many benefits to just leave her behind instead of taking her with me. "Okay I have decided that I will permit you to travel with me, but if you ever do something to my detriment I will make sure you never step foot within 50 kilometers (30.1 miles) from me." I reached over to her shoulder and laid my hand down on her shoulder. "Do you understand?"

"Yes I do." She said thinking she was ready for what was to come, but she did not know that what had happend before was only just the begining, I planed henseforth that my goal is to save my wife and after I have done that to destroy this godforsaken rock in the sky. Now she would survive too, but would my wife see this as me cheating on her. Would my wife still like me
