The Strongest Assassin Reincarnates in Another World

Chapter 443 - Saying Goodbyes

Aiden felt deep anger within himself as a dark red aura mixed with darkness started emerging from his body. Horns started to form on his forehead, and slowly he was becoming taller, his muscles increasing in size.

The color of his skin also changed had a tint of red.

Aiden was at least three times as big as before, but he was also twenty times as powerful.

He had activated his Demonic Form. He knew that he didn't have any time to waste. He needed to get to Emma as fast as possible before she was to get killed by Sylas.

Aiden spread his senses, and they were now able to cover the entirety of the mansion. There, he saw Sylas holding Emma by her throat. He had been hiding all this time, and all of this was because of Melinda.

Aiden gritted his teeth as he looked in her direction, his breathing getting heavier and heavier.

One of the main side effects of using this skill was that he couldn't control his emotions any longer. However, he didn't want to control them. Aiden felt anger unlike anything before. He wanted to kill everyone who would get in his path. Anyone who had wronged him in the past.

He glanced at Melinda as he appeared right beside Melinda and pierced her heart in one swift motion, grabbing it and throwing it away like the trash it was.

She looked back at him with tears in her eyes. However, Aiden didn't care. Watching her suffer was good.

He picked up her ragged body and took it with him.

"You're the first one."

Aiden wanted to show it to Sylas.

However, knowing that time was running short, Darius decided against going through the halls. As he simply ran through the walls, using his skill that made it possible to become an Etheral Being, being untargeted by anything surrounding him.

In seconds, he appeared where the main battle was happening.

He saw countless dead bodies, but it didn't affect him in the slightest. He had many more important things to deal with, and it was Sylas who was currently holding a knife to Emma's throat.

"Ah, you're finally here," Sylas said with a smile. "Took you long enough. Who's that on your shoulder?"

Sylas knew very well who it was as he simply dropped her on the ground for everyone to see. The soldiers had completely stopped fighting because of Aiden's overwhelming aura. He suffocated everyone around him simply by standing in the middle of them all.

"You see her. That's going to be you in a few seconds."

"AIDEN, Don't do anything stupid!" Emma shouted as she knew that he was ready for everything if it meant that he would get her back.

"Don't worry. Everything will be over in five minutes."

"Five minutes? You truly became arrogant, my son."

Aiden shook his head. "No. You don't understand. I'm giving you a chance. This won't last more than 30 seconds."

"1…" Aiden started counting out loud as he completely disappeared from where he was standing and reappeared behind Thorin, who was completely unaware and unable to follow Aiden's movements.

"2…" Aiden had stopped using his dagger as his hands armed with claws were more than enough. He tried to pierce Thorin's heart, but he managed to react at the last second.

"Um, not bad."

Aiden disappeared and reappeared once again, this time in front of Thorin. This time, he didn't aim for his heart but for both of his arms, cutting them off from his body in an instant.

"ARGHHHHHHHH!" Thorin screamed as he saw his two arms fall from his body in an instant. "What did you do?! Sylas! KILL HER!"

Sylas suddenly found himself unable to move even a single muscle. He couldn't move under Aiden's deadly gaze. His muscles felt limp, and his knees weakened. He fell to the ground, unable to move anymore.

"Y-You…you aren't my son…"

It seemed Aiden's current form wasn't anything that Sylas had seen in the past, and he was too shocked to realize what was happening to him.

Aiden smirked when he heard those words. "You're right. I never was your son."

Sylas didn't understand what those words really meant as he saw Aiden grab Thorin's heart and throw it onto the ground.

In less than one minute, Aiden had killed two of the founding families' leaders.

The Soldiers from the Nightshades were dumbfounded.

"Those who want to die just like them come at me. I'll give you a quick and painless death," Aiden said as he licked his Demonic Lips, slowly losing himself when killing everyone.

The only thing he had on his mind was to kill everyone who had wronged him.

Seeing Emma safe from danger had made things better, but he still needed to kill to calm himself. However, when he saw that no one was coming from him. A sigh released from his mouth as he turned toward Sylas, who was on the ground shaking like a little rat.

"Did you see?" Aiden laughed. "No one cares about you. No one loves you. You're all alone. And you're going to fucking die alone."

Aiden felt a strong presence within his mind, asking to take over his body. It seemed the previous owner of this body wanted to be the one to take revenge on Sylas, the person who had wronged him the most in the past.

'Alright. I'll leave you to it.'

Aiden gave access to the previous Aiden as he suddenly took over his body. However, this time, Aiden could still watch from behind as he had willingly accepted for the previous Aiden to take control of the body.

Aiden's entire demeanor suddenly changed, and even the way he moved changed. His suffocating aura felt the same; however, it didn't contain the element of death. It only contained pure rage.

"Father. Finally, we met again."

A look of confusion flashed onto Sylas's face. Aiden had just told him that he wasn't his son, and now he was calling him father. It made no sense.

"Don't speak. I don't want to hear your voice," Aiden said with a calm, yet cold voice.

Sylas, who had his mouth opened, suddenly closed it, only watching as he saw Aiden in his Demonic Form walking toward him.

Sylas knew that his death was only a matter of time, but he couldn't rival the person who was in front of him. It was simply impossible. The difference in strength between the two of them was simply too large. He could feel it. He was inferior to the person in front of him.

"You know. A few years ago, when you abandoned me and threw me in the slums, I tried to kill myself. No, that's not true. I killed myself. I died years ago. However, by some stroke of luck, someone else took over my body.

Somebody promised to take revenge for me."

"I watched as he moved around, getting stronger than I could have ever wished. One time, I managed to get revenge on my brother. However, the brother who I once hated was simply the result of your actions. He wasn't a bad person. The only person who deserves death stands in front of me, and it's you."

"You, who took EVERYTHING from me, deserve to die," Aiden had difficulty containing his anger as he screamed, the tone of his voice increasing over time.

Aiden took a step forward and stepped onto both of Sylas's legs, breaking them by standing on them.

"Do you know how it feels to be hopeless? Do be alone…? Do you know how it feels to die?" Aiden muttered with a smirk as he bent down with a devilish smile.

"AHHHH!" Sylas could only scream out of pain from having both his legs broken.

Aiden grabbed Sylas's head tightly and squeezed onto it. He didn't want to explode him just yet, though. He had time. He could play with his father a little longer. He had waited so long that it was the only thing he deserved.

Suddenly, Aiden felt a presence behind him, holding onto one of his arms. It was Emma.

"Aiden, stop. You don't need to torture him…this isn't like you."

The previous Aiden just looked into her eyes and said, "You're right. This isn't like me. But it needs to be done."

He pushed her away slowly, making sure not to hurt her as he looked once more into Sylas's eyes.

Blood was trickling away from his body as Aiden felt the gazes of everyone around him, looking at him with wide eyes.

Jake was one of the most surprised people around. However, it was for a completely different reason. He had felt the change in personality. He knew that the Aiden in control wasn't the one he knew. So, he simply walked away and sat in a corner. He knew that whatever happened next was something that Sylas deserved.

He had no reason to interfere in such a revenge.

Emma had tears falling out of her eyes when she heard the coldness of Aiden's voice.

"Please don't go back to the old you. Remember I-I'm still here for you. Y-You don't need to be alone anymore. I'm strong now. Just like you…I-I did my best, you can rely on me…" The tone of her voice got quieter and quieter as time passed. At one point, the only thing that anyone could hear from Emma were tears falling out of her eyes.

She didn't want Aiden to fall back into his old ways, to be all alone, a killing machine; that was the last thing she wished for him.

With his hand still holding tightly onto Sylas's head, Aiden smashed it against the ground, creating an earthquake because of the strength he had put in.

-BOOM!

However, once wasn't enough. Aiden continued to smash his head against the floor again and again until he felt satisfied.

He continued for minutes, and once he couldn't feel the slightest energy from Sylas's corpse, he let it go and simply looked at it without the slightest emotion.

There wasn't a smile. There wasn't a sense of relief.

The previous Aiden felt like what he had come to do was done. He had taken his revenge on the man who had taken everything away from him.

"I guess since you've helped me so much. I should do the same…" The previous Aiden muttered as he let Aiden control his body once again.

However, that wasn't all he did as the chains that had been restricting Aiden ever since he had arrived in this world were no longer, and in front of Aiden a message appeared.

[You are no longer limited by the shackles of the Lumithars.]

[All contracts made with them are now null.]

Aiden smiled as he knew the previous Aiden had sacrificed himself to give Aiden a chance at his freedom.

'Thank you. Now, I can go and kill every last one of them.'
