The Rise of the Titan

Chapter 463: Chapter 463: The Great Purge!

"Have you identified them all?" At the highest point in the House of Nobles, Remilia, the young queen, smiled as she watched the nobles being massacred by the chromatic dragons below. A tall youth stepped out from beside her.

"Of course," came the familiar voice. Remilia turned, threw herself into the youth's arms, and hugged him tightly, her small face rubbing against him slowly.

"They tried several times after you left, and when they didn't find you, they became more and more brazen, leaving more traces and clues."

"Hmm, which one of the seven dukes is it?" Muria asked, raising his hand to caress Remilia's soft hair, his face expressionless.

"It's not just one, it's two." Hearing the screams, wails, and pleas for mercy around her, Remilia raised her head, showing a trace of anger. She had already identified the masterminds behind the torment and death of her father under a curse.

"They must have some connection, like a marriage alliance," Muria speculated softly, looking at the nobles being slaughtered by the chromatic dragon legion he had brought back.

"Yes, the descendants of the two legendary dukes are frequently intermarried, almost like a single family." Remilia's face turned angry as she spoke. "And their influence isn't as simple as it appears. Behind their families, there are hidden legendary powerhouses."

"Both families have them?" Muria showed a surprised expression.

"Yes."

"I see. That makes four legends in total. If they rally a few more dukes, they could overthrow your Scarlet family and take over. No wonder they dared to plot against Belladion from the start; their aim was rebellion."

"Remilia, give me the list of those involved with these two families. I'll take care of them."

"No need, brother. Just deal with the legendary duke from one family. I can handle the rest."

Hearing this, Muria paused, then smiled with satisfaction. "My little sister has grown up and can handle things on her own. Even if these two families revolted without me, you'd be able to suppress them."

"It's different." The blue-haired, red-eyed young queen spoke in a voice that sounded like she was pouting. "With you here, the other five dukes won't dare to act, and with your help, none of these rebellious nobles will escape. I can resolve all hidden threats without leaving any future troubles."

"Haha, you're just trying to reassure me," Muria said with a smile. "To make me feel my preparations were worthwhile and not redundant."

"No," Remilia denied seriously.

"Your Highness, all the human nobles on the list have been purged." A beautiful woman with green hair and blue eyes appeared beside Muria, glanced at the young queen clinging to him, then bowed and reported.

"How many are left?" Muria glanced down. The ground was covered with corpses, blood flowing freely, the air thick with the stench of blood. It seemed all the nobles had been killed.

"Twenty-six remain," Fiona reported meticulously.

"There are still some loyal to the royal family. This number isn't too bad."

"In eight hundred years, only this few nobles remain loyal to the royal family. Eight hundred years ago, every noble was willing to serve the royal family and sacrifice their lives," Remilia said with dissatisfaction.

"People's hearts change; it's normal." Muria patted Remilia, who was hugging his waist. "I should go deal with the main culprits now."

"Oh!" Reluctantly, Remilia released Muria. After eight years as queen, she had learned to suppress her childish tendencies.

"You should send the five legends out now to join me and Grandmaster Bastet."

"I know." Remilia glanced at the ancient gold dragon Bastet, who had appeared silently beside them, and replied somewhat grudgingly, "I'm not a child anymore."

"Your Highness, let me lead the way!" The ancient gold dragon said cheerfully. He knew Muria wanted to act personally, so as a fellow clansman and elder, he would do his best to assist.

"Thank you."

The space collapsed and shattered. Under the ancient dragon's power, a dark spatial passage formed. Muria, not yet a legend, was enveloped and transported through space, crossing vast distances.

In just a few breaths, Bastet brought Muria above a bustling, prosperous city. The ancient dragon then reverted to his true form and roared loudly: "By Queen Remilia's decree, purge the rebellious Chalva family. All unrelated individuals, withdraw immediately."

The city fell into a moment of silence, then erupted into chaos as the residents heard the golden dragon's words.

In the city's center, in a palace complex no smaller than the Scarlet palace, defensive arrays activated one after another as the golden dragon appeared, their brilliant glow outshining the bright sunlight.

"Bastet, let me handle these defensive arrays." Muria smiled, taking out his Doomsday Staff and stopping the ancient dragon from acting.

"Then I'll leave it to you, Your Highness!" Sensing the restrained aura in the city's center, the ancient dragon surveyed the surroundings, squinting slightly.

"Boom!" Muria raised his Doomsday Staff high, and dazzling golden lightning burst forth. Winds howled, bringing dark clouds from all directions, shrouding the city and plunging it into premature darkness.

Secret Spell: Azure Thunder Purgatory!

Secret Spell: Rending Storm!

Secret Spell: Ultimate Meteor Burst!

Thanks to his frequent practice of the clone technique, Muria simultaneously cast three ninth-ring secret spells.

"Is this...?" The ancient gold dragon's eyes widened in shock as he watched meteors, wrapped in lightning, descend from the swirling dark clouds onto the palace complex below.

"It's my mother's unique secret spell!" Muria introduced, equally amazed as he used it for the first time since learning it from his Golden Dragon mother.

"Truly an astounding talent for magic." The ancient gold dragon praised sincerely, watching Muria effortlessly cast three ninth-ring spells simultaneously, unsure if he was referring to Muria or his mother.

"How dare you!" Just after expressing his admiration, Bastet's eyes widened in fury as he saw a pitch-black scythe silently slicing through space towards Muria's head.
