"So what do you say? Do we have a deal?" Asked Mr X. This was after Jonathan and his lover left the room. Patricia still could not believe what she just saw. Now everything dawned to her, the reason why Jonathan sometimes brushed her off saying that he was busy whenever she wanted to see him or why sometimes he refused to let her come to his house for a date or when he would lie to her that he was on a business trip. Now come to think of it...he would be at a business trip alright... a business trip of WHORISM!!

Alisha was right all along! She was right! Now Patricia regrets for pushing her aside and not listening to her whenever she told her about Jonathan being a shady bastard and whenever she scolded her for hauling all those insults at him. But what she was regretting the most was that Jonathan knew about the man she was hunting for, in fact he was also involved in his shady business. Although, Patricia did not tell him anything about the person responsible for her family's misery or her revenge plan, she still felt like a huge backet of cold water was poured down her. All along she was dating a man who was a lead into her investigation. She spent an entire year working in this hell hole and even lost her job at the university just to get a lead to the bastard that ruined her family's life but alas...she was dating a lead all along.

Patricia felt her heart quivering, quivering with rage, rage towards herself for being allowed be played like a fool all this time. But not anymore!! Not anymore will she allow herself to be played like a fool again!! This time she was going to be careful and play her cards right. All she has got to do is infiltrate the lion's den incognito and gather all the evidence she needs to take him down. Right now she has to act oblivious and try to get onboard the ship without raising any suspicion.

Patricia was brought back out of her reverie when she felt someone grapple her breasts and place wet kisses on her neck. She then realized that the meeting was over and Mr X and this disgusting dog which was already licking her all over had already reached an agreement to their deal. "Stop behaving like a dog Jethro. Be a gentleman and take the beautiful lady to a nice hotel. I am sure there are plenty of good hotels in the city that she would love for you to take her there", remarked Mr X. After hearing what Mr X said, the man called Jethro let go of Patricia and looked at her with eyes filled with burning lust and said, " You are right Mr X. My apologies beauty... You truly are a treasure that deserves to be treated right. Tell you what...Instead of going to a measly hotel...how about I invite you back to my baby huh... She really is a big beauty and I am sure that you will love it".

Patricia firstly took a deep breath to calm her raging emotions. She knew that in order to get into the game she had to play her card first. And if this bastard was her card then she was willing to play him in order to lure the big price. So sitting up straight and lifting her chest higher to show off her luscious breasts and crossing her legs over, she said in a sweet voice, " That's a very nice gesture sir. And I can give you my answer then...so what do you say". And she used her thumb to play around with his lips in a seductive manner. Jethro simply just smiled and said, " Trying to play a little hard to get huh...I like it...I really really like it....What's your name little doll" "Patricia... But you can call me Patty..." Replied Patricia. "Mmmm..Patty...I like it.... Well...Patty...I am not a very patient man..so don't keep me waiting for long otherwise...I will have to hunt you down myself and believe me....you don't want to have me hunt you down...because you will face dire consequences...understand pretty doll..", said Jethro. "Mmmpppfft!!!", the sound of someone vomiting woke Nicole up from her sleep. She had been awake all night watching some soap operas and also waiting for Patricia to come back from her late night job. She did not realize when she fell asleep but she woke up and realized that she was sleeping on the couch whilst the Tv was still on. She then looked up at the wall clock and saw that it was 4:15am. She then quickly rose from the couch and went to the bathroom to check who it was that was vomiting at this hour. When she arrived, she saw her best friend kneeling down beside the toilet and throwing up every content that was inside of her. " Patricia!! " exclaimed Nicole and she quickly went and knelt down beside her. "What happened to you? Why do you look like a mess? What happened?" Asked Nicole. True to her word, Patricia did look like a mess, her hair was disheveled, her eyes were bloodshot and watery indicating that she must have been crying, her clothes were crumbled and disheveled. "Oh my God Patricia... Please don't tell me...that...please don't tell that what I feared would happen finally happened" said Nicole and she clasped her hands over her mouth to indicate her shock. Patricia slumbed down on the floor and wiped her mouth and said, "No....nothing like that happened... Although it almost did...but I found a way to avoid it..so...."

"So then what? What happened Patricia? Why are you like this? Did something happen?" Asked Nicole. "Oh something did happen alright!! Something that made me realize what a huge fool I was!! All this time...all this time I was blinded by love...that I refused to see the bigger picture! I refused to accept the possible reality and look at how

Nicole did not even need to guess who Patricia was talking about, she already knew the bastard that made Patricia behave this way. Although, she was a little curious to know what made Patricia finally realize his true colors but she did not want to rush her into it. So she waited until Patricia calmed down and finally asked her what happened.

"Oh my word!!!! I can't believe this!! You actually saw him with another man!! Wow!! I always suspected that he was shady but I never imagined that the dirt could be this big!!" Exclaimed Nicole after Patricia told her what happened. "Oh Patricia I am so sorry that you had to discover your boyfriend's infidelity like that. But know that..its not the end of the world. Patricia you are a very beautiful, smart, brave and courageous woman. I am sure that you are going to find a man that will truly love you for who you are, one who will support you and stay by your side to take care of you no matter what. So don't beat yourself down girlfriend. Jonathan is a jerk and he doesn't deserve any of your tears ok. So don't worry girl..you are going to be just fine. You truly are a great friend" said Patricia and she hugged Nicole and began to cry again. This time not because of pain and anger but because of gratitude, she really is grateful for having a friend like Nicole because she felt that if people like Nicole did not exist in her life then she would have been lost a long time ago.

"So....what are you going to do?" Asked Nicole, after Patricia calmed down, the two went to her room to continue their conversation there. "I don't know? But I need to make a plan and I will also need your help" replied Patricia. Then she took out of her pocket a business card with the name Jethro Morales and handed it over to Nicole and she said, "I need you to investigate him and find out everything about him. I need to be prepared since I am going to use him as my card to get into the game. Otherwise everything will crumble before it even starts. So I need to know everything about him so that I can use it as my leverage." "But Patty isn't it dangerous what you are trying to do? After what I heard you saying, it is clear that these people are involved in something big and it could become risky if you involve yourself too deep like that." Said Nicole in a worried tone."Don't worrry Nicky I am going to be fine. I already entered in this game knowing that I am going to face danger. So don't worry I am going to be prepared. Besides thats why I have you as my back up in case I run into trouble. So please don't worry ok", said Patricia in a reassuring tone.

"Ok alright. I will help but please be careful ok. I don't want to lose you. So be wary with everything that you do ok." Said Nicole. "Thank you Nicole. Thank you. I will forever be grateful for your help. I am also going to try and find out more about Mr X at the club." Said Patricia. "Ok. But what are you going to do about Jonathan. Well...I mean...are you going to break up with him now?" Asked Nicole. Patricia firstly took a deep breath and said, "No! I am not going to break up with Jonathan. Because I need him to be part of my plan as well. Since he is also involved... I also need him as a leverage in my game. I will try to use him as my second card in the game if the first card fails and then...." Patricia stood up from the bed and went and stood at the window whilst looking at the golden rising sun, "I will make him pay for everything that he did to me! And I will surely make him regret for playing me Patricia Milton as a fool!! I will make him pay! So let the game begin" And determination flashed with a fiery glint inside of her eyes as she looked at the rising sun.

Unbeknownst to them, a figure was standing outside at their door and listening to their conversation and as soon as Patricia finished saying those words, the person left.
