The Race

"Jonathan! What are you doing here? I thought you were out of town? When did you get back?", asked Patricia. " Pffft..out of town my foot! He was probably fooling around with one of his whores. Thats not even surpring at all", remarked Alisha and she folded her arms to her chest. "Oh Alisha will you just stop it!! I've had enough from you already! Stop saying those awful things about my boyfriend! I don't know why you always find an excuse to cause trouble! This was never like you Alisha! I don't know what your problem with Jonathan is but he is my boyfriend and I love him and whatever it is that happens between us should be none of your business understand! So please respect my boyfriend and our relationship and stop causing trouble ok!", said Patricia.

Alisha just looked at her sister with eyes filled with disbelief and also pain. So she just shook her head and said, " Ok sis...fine...I won't interfere anymore in your life. Since its clear that I am...no longer needed..to be a part of it. But just keep in mind...when you realize your mistakes....it will be to late to ask for forgiveness.", said Alisha sadly. Then she went and stood right in front of her sister and her boyfriend and said, "You two definitely deserve each other." Then she went upstairs to the room which Nicole gave her to sleep in.

"Well that was....kind of harsh...", said Nicole whilst looking at Alisha disappearing into her room, and then she turned and faced Patricia and Jonathan and said, "Well...I am going to start preparing for dinner. If you need me for anything I will be in the kitchen." And she left. Patricia ushered Jonathan a seat on the couch in the living room and she sat down beside him and said, "I am so sorry Jona about my little sister Ali. I don't know why she started behaving like this around you. She used to like you and adore you before. Well...maybe because our family is going through very difficult times and this has caused some frictions between us that's why she is behaving like this." "Don't worry my love it's ok. You don't have to apologize for her. Your sister was out of line! She should be the one to apologize not you. And you are also sacrificing a lot for your family to be able to stand on their feet. And if they don't appreciate that...then that's their problem and not yours. So don't beat yourself down just because of them but keep on fighting until you reach your goals and help them to stay afloat even if they don't appreciate it. And also remember that I will support you no matter what. You can count on me for anything you want and need. Because I love you Patricia and also care for you. So don't be afraid to lean on me whenever you need help", said Jonathan and he pulled Patricia in for a small passionate kiss.

After disengaging from each other, Patricia then said, " Thank you my love. Your support really means the world to me. And you are right...I should not wallow down just because things aren't going so great right now but I should keep on fighting to make them better and support my family...the best way I can." "That's the spirit babe! You should always try to keep on shining even if the world is still a dark place. You should always strive to reach your goals and believe in yourself that you can do it." Said Jonathan. "Thanks babe! You truly are the best. And I wish that my family could see it and stop judging you and slandering you. But well....I guess its a wish that only time can fulfill. By the way....you didn't tell me when you came back in the city. I tried calling you multiple times but the calls went straight to voicemail. So....?" Asked Patricia. "Oh...that..I actually wanted....to surprise you...The business conference ended a bit earlier so...I wanted to do a surprise visit to you....so that you and I can go on a date and spent some time together....since you missed me and all.... But then I heard your messages and the terrible things that happened. So I decided to come here and see you and also help you in anyway I can." "Ok...well your visit has already done so much for me and I appreciate it very much. Thanks babe for always sticking out for me. I love you", said Patricia. " And I love you too babe", said Jonathan and they shared a small kiss.

"Well babe...I wish I could stay long but...after what happened with your sister...I don't think I can stay for dinner but I will make sure that we..go on that date..well...some other time." Said Jonathan. "Ok my love. Let me go and grab my jacket and I will walk you out", said Patricia and she left to go and grab her jacket. Just then Jonathan's phone buzzed with a message and it read, "Don't forget your appointment tonight, the last customer was very satisfied with you and Mr X was very pleased. Make sure to also work your magic on this one or else....'. " I am ready!" Jonathan was startled by Patricia who had just arrived and informed him that she was ready to walk him out. And the two then left the house.

Meanwhile upstairs in Alisha's bedroom...

"Pffft...ugh!!! Just look at him! Acting like some 'god-sent romeo' whilst in reality he just like the 'devil' himself." Exclaimed Alisha whilst looking outside through her window and watching Jonathan and Patricia hugging and kissing each other goodbye. "Urrggg!! I can't believe that Patricia fell for that bafoon! He is about Imore worse than that other guy Richard who cheated on her with her two best friends from High School. That guy is like a 'sex toy' waiting to be used by anyone no matter who they are. And when Patricia finds out...she is going to regret pushing me aside and not listening to me."

"I don't get it. Weren't you the one that used to praise him whenever he helped us with our problems back then. So what suddenly changed...?" Asked Zach who was also present in the room and sitting on the bed whilst typing something on his phone. "Well yes..I used to like him because back then he really looked like a good guy but now after what I saw...tsk I realized that it was a big mistake." Replied Alisha. "What did you see. What is it that you saw that exposed him to you?" Asked Zach. "Oh my dear sweet brother. The discovery was really horrifying even your dear sweet innocent mind might get blown away with shock!" Replied Alisha. "Huh? Its that bad?" Asked Zach with one of his eyebrows raised. "You cannot imagine... But instead of telling you about it, how about I just show you..." Replied Alisha and she took out her phone and gave it to Zach to watch what was on the screen. "WHAT THE FUCK!!!!" Yelled Zach after watching what was on the screen.

"Hey Patty!!! Stop lazing around and get to work!! We have a couple of more orders to fulfill!!" Yelled Patricia's boss at Happy Night Owl Club. Since this was the only place left where she had a job, she had no choice but to go back there and work until she could find a steady job. Although she couldn't get any evidence against the man who ruined her family's lives she still earned a handsome of money that was enough to keep her family's lives afloat for a while.

Just as she finished handing out an order at a certain table, the corner of her left eye saw someone familiar strolling into the club. It was one of those men she overheard talking about her archenemy conducting illegal business in the club. She saw him walking up to a table near the far corner of the room and settling there. She then decided to approach him and ask him to order something. "Good evening sir. Will you like to order something". The man did not reply but looked at Patricia with lustful eyes and he subconsciously licked his lips whilst his eyes roamed around her body. " If I order for you beautiful... Will you be willing to accompany me for the night?" Asked the man and then he leaned forward in his seat and continued saying, "Because I am really craving to be in the company of a beautiful lady like you..". Patricia looked directly in the man's eyes and replied, " Mmmm...that depends on what you are willing to offer..because as you know sir..." And she leaned in forward, plumping her chest up revealing half of her full luscious creamy breasts to the man and she said in a low seductive voice, "Nothing is for free....". " Oh...I like that...I like that very much. Its a good thing....that...I don't like free things either and I got everything you will ever want from me baby...so what do you say....my treat", replied the man and he flashed Patricia a dashing smile.

But before Patricia could reply another man showed up and he said, "Mr X is ready to see you now". And he monitioned for the man to follow him. " Can I bring the beauty along with me", asked the man. The other man looked at Patricia for a couple of seconds until he said, "You know Mr X likes to do his business in private but since this one is quite an exceptional beauty....sure..why not. I am sure Mr X wouldn't mind." "You hear that beauty....you are mine for tonight", said the man and he smiled. Patricia did not say anything but just smiled back. Then she followed the two men in a different part of the club where the exclusive members do their dirty businesses. Patricia had never been to this part of the club before mainly because she refused to become one of the 'bed toys' for these men. And unlike the part where she worked, which was noisy and filled with filth, this part was more quiet and also well furnished with rooms on everyside. After walking for some time they arrived at a room with double doors and the other man opened the door to the room.

When they entered the room, it was filled with cigar smoke and a few people were already seated in the room. There were two women who were half naked sitting on both sides of a bulky man in a black suit with long dark hair, dark eyes with red pupils, pink plumby lips and a flat nose, smoking a cigar whilst holding a glass of whiskey in another hand. On the table there were poker cards and chips strewn across it. On the other side of the room Patricia saw two men, one was seated on the lap of the other and he was shirtless and the other man was shamelessly fondling him and sucking his nipples. "Wow who is this beauty....?" The man in the black suit asked and he drew from his cigar and puffed out the smoke. "Just a beauty I picked up from downstairs. You don't have to worry Mr X...I am sure she is not going to cause any trouble." Said the man that came with Patricia. "Well if thats the case....lets begin our meeting then...'el plateado diablo' is looking for new merchandizers to sell the merchandise. The ones he sacked did not do quite well....so he was hopping since you have been in the business for long...you might be able to find some...if you are still interested." "How much is he willing to pay?" Asked the man that came with Patricia. "That depends on the efficiency of your work Jethro...that is what will determine your price", replied Mr X. The man called Jethro just scratched his chin and leaned in his chair whilst thinking. Patricia could not believe her ears, after a year of struggling and failing to find something that could lead her to the tail of the beast to the point that she was already giving up on the trail, yet here she was, in a meeting where her target was being discussed. Some of his dirty secrets already being strewn out across the table. Patricia silently smirked, she now finally found the trail to the tail of the beast and now she was going to get him. However, a loud moan which echoed inside the room interrupted her thoughts. " Oh for pete sake! This club has a lot of rooms! Why don't you go and bed each other there!! Some of us are conducting a meeting here!!" Shouted Mr X. The moan came from the two men who were fondling each other at the other side of the room. The men quietly stood up and the one who was fondling the other started pushing the other one forward, whilst holding his waist and giving him kisses on his nape. Just as they were passing by, the man that was being pushed turned his head at Patricia and looked at her for brief moment before he was pushed out of the room by his lover. However, Patricia's face was ghost ridden with shock and it turned pale with what she just saw. The man that she loved was with another man!!!
