The sensation of free fall overwhelms me. My body is weak, and the pain from the wound left by that damned god keeps burning. I don't know how much time has passed since I was transported, but I know I'm close to touching the ground.

I peek out. Two people are approaching. I immediately recognize their clothing. They are members of the Gremory family.

"Damn it… I'm not ready to face them yet."

I turn around, but an electric current courses through my body.

—Ughh!

I fall to the ground, paralyzed.

—Well, well… what do we have here?

A woman with jet-black hair, long and loose, looks at me with a mischievous smile. Her Kuoh Academy uniform barely hides her provocative figure. Akeno Himejima.

—A human here? —says the boy next to her, Kiba Yuuto, drawing his sword.

I try to move, but my body is still numb from the shock.

—You have a strange aura… You're not an ordinary human —Akeno crouches in front of me, looking at me with curiosity. Her smile is sweet, but her eyes reflect danger.

—Who are you? —asks Kiba with a serious tone.

I take a deep breath. I must handle this carefully.

—My name is… Luciano —I respond with difficulty.

—Luciano? —Akeno tilts her head. Her expression is playful, but I notice her fingers are still charged with electricity.

I have no choice. If I want to survive in this world, I must act cautiously.

—I don't know how I got here. I only remember a light and… waking up in this forest.

It's not a complete lie.

Kiba and Akeno exchange glances. They don't fully believe me.

—Rias-sama will want to see you —Kiba finally says.

Akeno approaches and touches my forehead with a finger.

Akeno stands next to her, playfully smiling. Kiba leans against the wall with his arms crossed.

—You intrigue us, Luciano —Rias continues—. Your aura is not that of an ordinary human. Who are you really?

I take a deep breath. This is a key moment.

Before I respond, I mentally activate my system.

I close the mental screen and look at Rias.
