Yasaka glares at the man in front of her while wiping the blood from her mouth. The other Youkai are on the ground, dead or dying. On the other side of Kyoto, Nurarihyon and his people are defending against the invasion.

Who's the one attacking them?

The one attacking them is the Khaos Brigade. The one leading this group is Kronos, the King of Titan, and coming with him is a group of Titans that distract the Gods of the Shinto Pantheon while he is attacking Kyoto.

"Why? Why are you doing this? We never once have conflict."

Kronos gives her a small smile and says.

"It is nothing personal, Yasaka of Kyoto. We only need something underneath your home, girl. Blame this on your luck or even your Gods for creating that thing."

Yasaka grits her teeth as she knows what he wants. Underneath Kyoto is no mere Leyline of magic but rather a massive piece of the soul of a God. It is a piece of Kagutsuchi, the first son of Izanami and Izanagi. He is so powerful that he kills his own mother. In grief, Izanagi scatters his son's soul across Japan as a punishment. After a long time, Izanagi decides it is enough and pieces his son together to resurrect him.

However, he is too late. Izanagi tries to piece his son together, but Kagutsuchi's soul is already too powerful to absorb the primordial energy that is abundant as Japan has not even yet created. The soul is so powerful that Izanagi cannot piece it together without killing himself. Because of this, he decided to plant the soul underneath Kyoto to create life in Japan.

Yasaka knows if Kronos gets that soul, he can use it to power anything he wants. Kagutsuchi will become the strongest weapon the world has ever seen—a weapon made from primordial energy that can split the earth in two if used correctly.

The other Gods will ensure that will never happen, but even with the power of all Gods in the world, the weapon using the power of Kagutsuchi will cause a lot of damage to the planet. All volcanoes will erupt with power so strong that the result will cause the entire world to get colder to the point of apocalypse. It is an event that can wipe out humanity.

The Gods cannot do anything after that happens because they will be weak after preventing that kind of weapon from splitting Earth into two.

"I will never let you take that!"

Yasaka releases a roar and changes into her true form once again. This time, she tapped the power of the leyline and used it to make her body bigger and more powerful. She opens her mouth and releases a massive beam of blue light at the man in front of her.

Kronos summons his weapon, a sickle, and swings at the incoming attack. His attack cuts through the attack with ease, and Kronos sneers at Yasaka.

"Hmph! Do you think that attack works against me?! This weapon kills a Primordial!"

Yasaka ignores him and releases a barrage of beams that could punch through the mountain. Kronos grins and gladly meets all the attacks as he swings his weapon around at a very high speed. However, he is so focused on countering Yasaka's barrage that he is too late to notice one of her tails move at him with a speed that breaks the speed of sound.

Kronos grunts a little as his body gets thrown away, but he quickly changes his size to stop the movement. Kronos changed into his true form and now is as tall as Yasaka but three times as powerful. He should be more powerful, but the wound from the Titanomachy in the past still has not yet healed. That is another reason why he agreed to join the Khaos Brigade and try to steal the fragment of Kagutsuchi.

"Give up already, woman! Accept a painless death!"

"Never!"

The two of them meet head-on, and Japan shakes from that single move. The two of them exchange blow after blow while the people near them run away from them with their comrade and the innocent in their hands.

Asia and Kunou are busy helping in whatever they can. Asia heals the people on the brink of death while Kunou helps carry the injured people. Asia already installs Martha and summons Tarasque to secure the area from the army of the Titan.

Monsters from Greek Mythology are roaming Kyoto, wreaking havoc on the once peaceful and beautiful city. Tarasque opens his mouth and releases a fire breath to turn the incoming group of Minotaurs into dust.

With Tarasque here, no short of a God can harm his master and the group with her. He looks up and expands his shell as a massive beam of light tries to destroy the building he protects. While they are far away from the main fight, he still needs to protect Asia and the others from the stray attack from the fighter between Yasaka and Kronos.

However, Tarasque starts to get worried about the fight. He knows that Yasaka is losing and that a miracle is needed to win the fight.

And Miracle does appear in the form of a White Dragon that slams its body into Kronus.

A man appears above Kronos with a flaming sword in his hand and anger in his face.

"Before this brilliance that sets aside the night, pay your ostentation to the holy sword of the stars!"

Ryan swings his sword down.

"Excalibur Galatine!"

A beam of light flies out of the sword toward the King of Titan. Kronos grits his teeth and swings his sickle toward the incoming attack. He can feel his sickle having trouble against the incoming attack.

His sickle will cut through any attack under the sky. That is why he tells the other Titans to distract Amaterasu because the Sun is not under the sky, and she is one of the Gods who can defeat him.

Excalibur Galatine is a sword that uses the power of the Sun to destroy evil. His sickle cannot completely cut through this attack.

Ryan roars and pumps more mana into the attack, pushing Kronos deeper into the ground.

With an angry roar, takes out an hourglass and pushes his energy into it. However, as he does that, he can see a flash of a Golden Dragon sneering at him, and his emergency item fails to activate, and he is distracted enough for Ryan's attack to break his defense.

*BOOM*

The attack hit and created a massive explosion.
