The God of Ice and Fire at Hogwarts

Chapter 68: The Forbidden Forest Incident Begins

After letting Norbert out, Hagrid personally drew a vial of blood from the dragon and then returned the needle to Lynn.

"The contract is complete, thank you," Lynn took the needle and nodded with a smile.

Seeing Hagrid put Norbert back into the enchanted suitcase, Lynn, in a good mood, took the initiative to say, "Are you going to send him far away? I can go with you! If there's an emergency, I can help you resolve it."

After hearing Lynn's words, Harry and Ron were about to politely decline. Harry said, "Sorry, we can't fit four people under the Invisibility Cloak."

Lynn waved his wand, his figure disappeared from sight, and his casual voice came from nowhere: "It's fine, I have the Disillusionment Charm."

After saying that, Lynn's figure reappeared.

Irina and Hermione immediately agreed. Having a powerful upperclassman help them was something they could only wish for.

As for Harry and Ron, who still had their reservations about Slytherins, they no longer objected after seeing their two companions agree.

Then the five of them left Hagrid's hut and made their way toward the highest tower under the cover of night.

Since Irina had burned Charlie's letter with a Fire Charm after reading it, Malfoy never received it, and naturally, the problem with Malfoy didn't occur.

The five of them successfully climbed the spiral staircase to the top of the tower.

After about ten minutes, four broomsticks appeared from the distance, and their owners, all of Charlie's friends, arrived at the top of the tower. Upon learning that Norbert had been placed in an enchanted alchemical suitcase, Charlie's friends were pleasantly surprised.

Not to mention the problems they could avoid with the suitcase, even just the suitcase itself was quite valuable.

One of the men hung his suitcase on the back of his broomstick and happily bid everyone farewell. Charlie's friends quickly departed.

However, just as everyone was descending the spiral staircase and entering the hallway, an accident occurred.

As soon as they entered the hallway, Filch's face emerged from the darkness.

Lynn had sensed someone in the hallway ahead of time, so he instinctively cast the Disillusionment Charm before entering the hallway, preventing Filch from noticing him.

But Irina and the other four were in a desperate situation. They didn't know the charm, and their Invisibility Cloak had been left accidentally on top of the tower.

Especially Irina, who was extremely frustrated. She knew this would happen but had forgotten about the Invisibility Cloak because she missed Norbert.

Filch escorted the four unwilling students to Professor McGonagall's office. As they were all Gryffindor students, they naturally had to face the wrath of Gryffindor's Head of House.

"I am very angry that four students stayed awake at night! I've never heard of such a thing!" Professor McGonagall said angrily.

Don't worry, there are more than four students who stay awake at night! Irina complained in her mind.

Professor McGonagall glared at the four of them with a stern look and spoke angrily, "Especially you two, Miss Lowell and Miss Granger, I thought you were more responsible. As for you, Mr. Weasley and Mr. Po, I thought you both valued Gryffindor's honor!"

"You four will be confined! Fifty points will be deducted from Gryffindor, fifty points each!"

Professor McGonagall looked like an angry lion.

Losing two hundred points in one go left Irina stunned.

You know, in the original book, Malfoy's incident caused fifty points to be deducted from Slytherin, and Ron was bitten so that he didn't take part in the action.

But now, no points were deducted from Slytherin, but Gryffindor had 50 points deducted each. This directly widened the gap between the two houses!

It seems that by the end of this semester, even Professor Dumbledore won't be able to recover those points for them!

Irina thought helplessly. After all, in the original book, with the extra points from Professor Dumbledore, Gryffindor only led Slytherin by ten points, but this time the house had a deficit of a hundred points, and even Irina couldn't make up for it.

After the punishment, Professor McGonagall dismissed Irina and the others from the study session.

The next day, after learning who was responsible for the deduction of two hundred points from the house, the four of them immediately became the target of Gryffindor.

Harry, Ron, and Hermione felt sad and embarrassed, but Irina still maintained her usual pace of life.

Harry was confused about this.

"Let me ask you, Harry, do you regret sending Norbert away?"

In response to Harry's doubts, Irina asked.

Harry shook his head. Of course, he didn't regret it. If Norbert wasn't sent away, the dragon would have nowhere to live one day. Once Norbert was discovered, the Ministry of Magic's Aurors would take him away, strip him of his magic, and turn him into a pile of magical materials.

Irina shrugged: "In that case, why should we be sad? As for the house points, I think if you two are willing to study seriously, it won't be hard to recover the points. After all, Min and I have already given Gryffindor over 100 points this semester!"

Upon hearing this, Harry and Ron looked at each other. Their guilt toward the other students made them decide to study harder.

But just a week later, the two, whose natures were hard to change, returned to their disorganized lives once more.

Time flies, and soon the last week before the final exams arrived.

And on that day's breakfast, Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Irina received exactly the same note. Inside the note was this phrase: "Your detention begins at eleven o'clock tonight."

The note was signed by Professor McGonagall.

Upon seeing this, Irina understood that the Forbidden Forest Incident was about to begin.

Irina knew that they would soon have to face Voldemort, who was possessing Quirrell. Fortunately, Malfoy wasn't there this time; otherwise, their efforts would have been in vain if their pig-headed classmates were present.

That night, the four of them arrived at the entrance hall and followed Filch out of Hogwarts Castle.

Filch chatted along the way, full of malice.

Soon, they crossed the dark environment and arrived outside the Forbidden Forest, where they met Hagrid.

After handing the four over to Hagrid, Filch left.

And at that moment, an unexpected person appeared.

"Lynn, what are you doing here?"

Irina asked in surprise.

She saw a figure appear out of nowhere. It was obvious that Lynn had previously cast a Disillusionment Charm.

Lynn said succinctly, "The last time you were caught, I left early. As compensation, this time your detention is my punishment for traveling with you."
