The God of Ice and Fire at Hogwarts

A few days later, one morning, Hedwig brought a note from Hagrid to Harry and the others.

"It's almost hatching!"

There were only these four words on the note.

While others might not understand the meaning of these words, Harry and the others knew clearly. This referred to the little fire dragon about to hatch!

After hearing the news, Ron immediately planned to skip school to find Hagrid. He thought he might never see Norbert emerge from its shell again in his life. Compared to this, what was the point of going to school?!

But, in the face of Ron's insistence, Hermione had no choice but to give in and decided to go with everyone to Hagrid's hut during the morning break to witness Norbert birth.

Noticing Irina's gaze, Hagrid happily introduced the device.

Irina hesitated and said, "Hagrid, the elder you're talking about... is his name Lynn?"

Hagrid was a little surprised. "Yes, do you know him?"

Irina reflected for a moment—it was indeed Elder Lynn, but how did he know about the fire dragon? Was it because he was a prophet, or was it because he was like her?

Just as Irina was doubting Lynn's identity, the movement of the dragon egg caught her attention.

Suddenly, with a rough scraping sound, the dragon egg cracked open.

A small fire dragon flapped on top of the iron piece. It wasn't exactly beautiful. It looked like a wrinkled black umbrella. Its spiny wings were distinctive compared to its thin black body. Its nose had white nostrils, it had horns on its head, and its orange eyes protruded out.

Norbert sneezed, and sparks flew from its nose.

"It's beautiful, isn't it?" Hagrid murmured.

He extended a hand and touched Norbert's head, but Norbert turned around and bit his finger, revealing its long, sharp teeth.

In response, Hagrid didn't feel any pain at all, but said excitedly, "My goodness, look, it recognizes its mother!"

Harry and Ron couldn't help but roll their eyes, looking at the fierce expression on the face of this little Norbert, as if it wanted to devour Hagrid. Does it really consider you its mother?!

Just as Harry and Ron were afraid to get closer to Norbert due to its apparent danger, Irina happily stepped forward.

"How cute! Norbert, give me a hug!"

Hearing this, the four of them immediately ran to the door and looked outside, only to see Malfoy running away from them with a malicious smile on his face.
