The God of Ice and Fire at Hogwarts

After learning that both Lynn and Irina had reached the threshold of practicing ancient magic, Irwin no longer wished to take them to visit the manor.

Irwin seemed eager to verify whether Lynn and Irina could unlock the ancient magic that no one in the Foley family had been able to use for hundreds of years. He led them directly to Foley Castle.

When the three arrived at Foley Castle, Mr. Foley was still resting in the lounge on the first floor.

Upon seeing them, Mr. Foley asked in surprise, "Have you finished visiting Foley Manor?"

Irwin stepped forward and explained, "Yes, father, Lynn and Irina told me that they've reached the threshold to practice ancient magic."

Hearing this, Mr. Foley was stunned and said, "Irwin, are you telling the truth?"

After all, the people in front of him were all high-level wizards. Even elite Aurors might not be able to cast spells silently and without a wand, let alone basic magic!

Even if Lynn and Irina had the power to repel Voldemort's lingering soul and defeat the basilisk, Mr. Foley was unwilling to believe that they could unleash magic with just a thought.

Seeing that Mr. Foley was skeptical, Irwin did not argue. Instead, he turned his attention to Lynn and Irina.

"I didn't expect you to have such a powerful level of magic... Lynn, Irina, may I call you that?"

Mr. Foley looked at them both with a complicated expression.

Lynn and Irina exchanged glances and said in unison, "Of course, Mr. Foley."

Mr. Foley, despite being the patriarch of the Foley family—one of the twenty-eight pure-blood families—did not mind at all. He bowed slightly to the two and said, "I underestimated you. Now that I see, I believe it is an honor for the Foley family that Irwin is joining you. As for our family's collection of books, please feel free to take a look!"

After speaking, Mr. Foley turned to Irwin and said, "Irwin, take Lynn and Irina to our library!"

Irwin nodded, greeting Lynn and Irina before saying, "Lynn, Irina, follow me!"

Irwin led them toward the stairs.

Unlike Rowle Castle, the book collection at Foley Castle was located on the third floor. This entire floor was filled with various magical books.

There weren't many magical books in Rowle Castle, as all the magical books there contained advanced magical knowledge. Basic magical books would not be stored in Rowle Castle.

This is also why Lynn had never been exposed to magic until he was eleven. If Rowle Castle could be like Foley Castle, regardless of how advanced or superficial the magical knowledge was, it would be stored in the library. Lynn's magical level would likely be much higher by now.

Upon reaching the library on the third floor, Irwin simply ignored the rows of books on the high shelves in front of him and led Lynn and Irina toward the deepest part of the library.

Upon seeing the magical books in the glass cabinet, Lynn and Irina couldn't help but grow solemn.

You see, in the West, whether in the magical world or the Muggle world, people have always had a taboo about the number thirteen, believing it to be sinister.

For example, when Westerners host guests, they do everything they can to avoid the number thirteen. If the number of guests must be thirteen, the host will even place a teddy bear at the fourteenth seat for the imaginary guest.

Irwin took the thirteen books one by one and laid them out on the floor.

Lynn and Irina quickly gathered and looked at these books that recorded ancient magic.

On the covers of these books, the names of the ancient magics were written in ancient runes, and the "Thunder Technique" that Irwin had mentioned earlier was also among them.

Additionally, Lynn and Irina saw ten other ancient magics, but with their simplified spells, neither Lynn nor Irina could cast them silently and without a wand.

However, when they saw the last two books, an expression of surprise appeared on their faces.

The ancient magic recorded in these two books turned out to be the simplified versions of the Fire Spell and the Freeze Spell!

Lynn couldn't wait to choose the simplified version of the ancient magic known as Fire Spell and looked at the four large words on the cover: Puppet Demon of Purgatory.

This "Puppet Demon of Purgatory" was the name of this ancient magic, and its function was to give the flame a soul, turning it into a soldier with an independent consciousness, capable of fighting.

Lynn believed that this "Puppet Demon of Purgatory" would undoubtedly become an invincible sword in his hands in the future!
