Chapter 113: A little secret between lovers!
Irina hesitated for a long time and finally agreed.
Regardless of whether these alchemical glasses are effective or not, it will be beneficial for Colin. If the alchemical glasses work, that would be great. But even if they don't, Colin will still be petrified by the basilisk, as in the original story, and there will be no worse outcome.
"Alright," Irina carefully stored the alchemical glasses, "I'll give them to Colin."
Lynn smiled and said, "Exactly, this experiment has a greater benefit. If it succeeds, then neither of us will have to worry about basilisk petrification or death magic."
Upon hearing this, Irina couldn't help but roll her eyes and said, "Stop quoting Grindelwald. Tests are just tests. What greater interests could there be..."
Lynn smiled and said nothing.
"By the way," Irina continued, "after the Quidditch match, should we get involved with Dobby? Although Dobby is doing it for Harry's sake, for now, he will only cause chaos for us."
Irina liked house-elves a lot and had met many of them in the Hogwarts kitchens. However, Dobby's presence would probably cause things to take a negative turn. Irina was relatively rational when it came to matters of good and evil.
Lynn thought for a moment and asked, "Are you going to stop Lockhart from treating Harry's arm? After all, Harry is your friend."
Given the severity of Harry's broken arm, if Lockhart hadn't cast the wrong spell and removed Harry's bones, Harry wouldn't have needed to be hospitalized at the school's hospital wing.
And if Harry hadn't been hospitalized, Dobby might not have appeared as in the original book.
Irina hesitated for a moment and said, "It's better not to stop it. If Dobby's matter can't be resolved immediately, it will probably cause more problems later on..."
After hearing Irina's choice, Lynn smiled and said, "In that case, I'll need to ask you for one more favor: when Lockhart casts the spell on Harry, use the mirror I gave you. The mirror's video function will record both the images and sounds and send them to my two-way mirror."
Upon hearing this, Irina immediately understood Lynn's intent. Her eyes lit up, and she said, "You want to learn the wrong spell Lockhart cast?"
Lynn nodded with a smile. "Yes, this kind of bone-extraction spell has great practical value. Think about it—if you can extract the bone from the arm that holds the wand in a duel, wouldn't the spell of bone-extraction be very useful?"
Irina completely agreed with this statement.
"By the way, do you have any magic that can restrain Dobby? After all, house-elves can Disapparate, and even Hogwarts' anti-Disapparation spell won't stop them."
Irina asked, concerned.
If there's no way to contain Dobby, even if he's bound by Wuhuada, he could still escape with a snap of his fingers.
Lynn chuckled and said, "It's very simple. Use a house-elf to defeat another house-elf! Come out, Gale!"
As he spoke, Lynn snapped his fingers.
Boom! With a burst of air, Gale, the house-elf from the Rohr family, appeared beside Lynn.
Gale, wearing a neat blue and white pillowcase, looked much more refined than the other house-elves. Gale greeted Lynn and Irina respectfully, saying, "Good evening, esteemed young master and beautiful lady!"
Upon seeing Gale, Irina was a bit surprised. "Lynn, is this your house-elf?"
Lynn nodded and said, "At the beginning of the semester, I ordered Gale to sneak into Hogwarts Castle. After we deal with Dobby, I'll have Gale tie him up and take him back to Rohr Manor. At least, Dobby won't get in our way this semester."
"Of course, after capturing Dobby, Gale will have to return to Rohr Manor. After all, my mother still needs Gale to take care of her!" Lynn said with a smile.
Irina looked at Gale with some envy and then said, "Alright, then we'll set an ambush together at the hospital wing. When Dobby appears, we'll act together, restrain him, and hand him over to Gale."
After discussing the plan for the day of the Quidditch match, Lynn asked Gale to leave and the two left the abandoned classroom one after the other.
After returning to the Gryffindor common room, Irina immediately approached Colin Creevey.
"Colin, can I ask you to do me a favor?" Irina stopped him.
Upon seeing Irina, Colin became a little excited. "Ah, it's you, the Valkyrie Irina who defeated the lingering soul of the mysterious man last year! It's an honor to help you!"
Hearing Colin's exaggerated words, Irina couldn't help but feel a little embarrassed.
What Valkyrie? What kind of bastard randomly gives out nicknames?
Irina was furious.
However, little did she know, the bastard who gave her random nicknames was far away and right in front of her.
Irina forced a smile, took out the alchemical glasses Lynn had given her, and said, "Colin, when the Quidditch match happens this weekend, could you please wear these all the time and not take them off under any circumstances? They're a special kind of magical glasses that can prevent some harmful magic."
Colin took the alchemical glasses and looked a bit confused. "Yes, yes, but why me?"
Irina made up an excuse. "Because I often see you taking pictures of my friend Harry. You must like him a lot, so I think you can take on this important responsibility."
Colin was confused. He thought about it for a while but couldn't understand the connection between his admiration for Harry and taking on such an important responsibility.
Before Colin could say anything, Irina continued joking, "If you do what I just said, how about I give you ten signed photos of Harry at the end of the day?"
Upon hearing this, Colin's eyes lit up, and he said, "You told me before! Wear these glasses all the time and don't take them off, right? No problem, leave it to me!"
Colin was very happy and ran off holding the alchemical glasses Irina had given him.
Seeing this, Irina scratched her head.
If she had known that Harry's signed photos could get Colin to cooperate, she wouldn't have spent so much time talking...
After explaining things to Colin, Irina walked over to Harry and the others.
"What did Senior Lynn tell you?" Hermione asked Irina curiously.
Irina shook her head, gave a mysterious wink, and said, "Keep it a secret!"
Hermione quietly leaned closer, put her lips next to Irina's ear, and whispered softly, "What, is this a little secret between you two lovers?"
Hermione blew a warm breath into Irina's ear, making it tickle, and upon hearing her words, Irina's pretty face immediately turned red.
