The Eminence of a True Monarch of the Shadows

[Third Person's PoV] 

"She did it! She really did it!" Esil celebrated jumping up and down with her fist raised. However her excitement dwindled as she saw the state at which Claire was left in. 

"She… she'll be alright, right?" She asked softly with concern. After all, although she hasn't known Claire for long she managed to beat her clans oppressor, and has a great deal of respect seeing all Claire is able to do. 

Cid just looked at her with a smile, "Don't worry, she'll recover"

Cid's hands began to glow a green beautiful light as he used his magic which once belonged to his mana core. Her wounds began to close as her missing limb started to regenerate until she was back to her peak state. 

Claire's eyes began to flutter open as she let out a groan, "Ughhhh… Why couldn't you just let me rest, I know for a fact not even a minute has passed! Just let me sleep in peace" Claire exclaimed in annoyance. 

Cid rolled his eyes as he looked towards her teasingly, "Then I guess you don't want to be a Monarch, I'll just have to give it to someone else who wants it" 

Claire's hand shot up and grabbed Cid's collar, "Don't you dare! I earned that fair and squared, I won't forgive you if you just go and give it to someone else" 

Claire let out a grumble as she went and sat up straight, glaring towards Cid. "Let's just get this over with since I know this is going to hurt…" 

"As you wish…" Cid said as he went and began with the transferring processes. Cid placed his hand on Baran's body and Cid used his Sin of Gluttony technique to absorb it and dissolve it into white and black particles. 

Cid then placed a hand on Claire's head and used Virtue of Charity technique to transfer the essence of a Monarch over to Claire. 

Immediately Claire gained an uncomfortable expression before she suddenly cried out in pain. When Cid was done transferring the essence he let go of Claire's head and withdrew his hand. 

Claire Immediately crumbled to the ground and writhed in pain. She had her mouth open wanting to scream but the pain was too much for her to even get her voice out. 

Her limbs were twisting in weird directions as her skin started gaining a darker color, as if she had been sunbathing for a bit too long. Her hair began turning white and curly as it lengthened. 

Fangs began to grow as she let out small growls while her nails turned into claws. She then grunted as for the side of her head tiny black horns began to rip through her skin before they began to grow outwards and grow larger as well. At the same time her ears started to grow sharper as well, appearing more elf-like. 

Her eyes snapped open revealing red glowing ominous orbs, which appeared to be feral like that of a dragon. She immediately sat up and expression shifted from pain to calmness. A small smile gracing her lips. 

"Now this is what you call a summer tan~" Claire said a bit seductively, she immediately sat up and dusted her body off. 

Esil walked up to Claire, put hand on her heart and knelt down on one knee. "Your majesty" 

"Eh?" Claire questioned, looking at Cid in confusion. 

"You are the Demon Queen now, by right of conquest. You've defeated the previous demon king in a fair contest of both skill and power and Usurp his title and kingdom. Esil here is acknowledging you as the Queen Demon Realm" Cid explained. 

Esil nodded, "You have defeated the previous tyrant and have helped me avenge my father. The Radir Clan is willing to submit to your Rule" 

Claire looked towards Cid for help but all she saw him do was nod his head towards her. Claire scratched her head slightly, "I guess I accept… Serve me well…" 

"Gladly, your Majesty," Esil said with a faint smile. 

Claire smiled, liking the title, before she realized something. She slapped her hands over her head and exclaimed, "Oh No!" 

"What?" Cid asked, looking at her weirdly. 

"How can I suddenly be the Queen when I literally massacred all of the demons!?! Your Clan are literally the only ones in this flipping Castle!" Claire gained a depressed look as her shoulders drooped down, Cid could practically imagine a small dark cloud floating over her head raining heavily. 

"I… I destroyed my own future kingdom without realizing it" Claire muttered with tears in her eyes. 

Cid rolled his eyes, "Don't be so dramatic, as you were killing the demons I was happily collecting their souls, I can just go and revise them for you" 

"Wait, were you really?!" Claire said excitedly. 

Cid nodded, "Yeah I was planning on feeding them to Lucifer, my demon shadow, but it looks like you'll need them more than I do" 

"Yay!" Claire exclaimed, throwing her arms around Cid, "My future Kingdom isn't destroyed…" 

"Oh right~" Claire said as she realized something, "Did I get any cool titles since we last checked?" 

Cid rolled his eyes at Claire's love for titles, "Yeah, a few actually… Let's see here… Since you've defeated Baran you've gained the title: The Monarch of Black, The Demon–" 

"The Monarch of Black?" Claire asked, looking at Cid in confusion. 

Cid just stared at her for interrupting him and let out a sigh, "Yes, Baran was known as the Monarch of WHITE Flames, however your main thing is Black Lightning. So your Monarch essence mutated, You wield both destructive Black Flames and Lightning, all element you use will be black due to this mutation, so you are considered The Monarch of Black" 

"Ah… I suppose that makes sense" Claire said tilting her head slightly, "Go on then, let me hear the rest" 

"You gained the titles: The Monarch of Black, The Demonkins Bane, The Usurper Queen of Demon Kind, And… The Hero?" Cid said with a confused tone towards the end. 

"The Hero?" Claire asked, taken aback, "The hell did I do to deserve a title like that?"

"You defeated a Demon King as different race…" Cid said, also taken aback, 'I guess I didn't get that title since for one the Baran I was facing wasn't actually him, well not completely and to be fair my class during the time was considered the Shadow Monarch, so I probably stopped being fully human and was consider a Monarch as well during that time…' 

"Whaaaaat?" Claire asked with a smug look, "For real? I'm considered a hero? Hell to the Yeah!"
