She stood up, threw the torn pieces of the document at them, and declared, "Over my dead body will I sign any rubbish documents!" With that, she turned to leave, but her uncle screamed her name, his anger palpable.

He pointed accusingly at her and shouted, "You're going to destroy your father's company! If you keep arguing with us, we'll take it forcefully!" Eliana laughed at them, noticing the shocked expressions on their faces.

She glared at her uncle, her eyes blazing with accusation. "Is that why you joined forces with my stepmother and killed my parents? So you could take over our company?" she spat.

Tobias shouted at her, "You! You're not lacking words, are you?" Layla, who had been quiet until then, clapped her hands, saying, "Wow, so Eliana, you think you've grown nerves, right? Quickly sign this document now!"

Eliana shouted back at her, "Else what? Will you try to kill me this time? I dare you to try to harm me or my younger brother! I'll show you the other side of me! And don't forget, I still have my mother's family, the Niadis, backing me up!"

Lisa's eyes bulged in shock as Eliana mentioned her mother's family, the Niadis. Eliana noticed her stepmother's reaction and said, "I'd like to see you murderers try."

"What about Jason, your younger brother? You know he's my brother's only son, right? If you don't sign this document, though you've torn it, we still have more." Layla grabbed another document and passed it to Tobias. "I'll take over the custody of Jason."

Eliana felt a sting in her heart, and her legs weakened. She turned to Tobias, her voice shaking. "What makes you think you can take over the custody of Jason when I'm still alive? You and my family were never even close to begin with. You never regarded my mom or my dad as your brother, so what makes you think you can take custody of Jason?"

Lisa stood up, a wicked glint in her eye. "I'm his stepmom, after all." She knew Jason was Eliana's weakness.

Eliana laughed, her eyes flashing with determination. "I won't let that happen. I'm taking my place at Damien's Group of Companies, and I'll also be Jason's guardian."

Lisa laughed wickedly. "How old are you to think the court will allow an underage person to take care of an underage?"

Eliana grew up with the Niadis and wasn't seen much, so not everyone knew her mom had a child already. Lisa knew but didn't know when Eliana was born because her then-boss, who later became her husband, never talked much about his family. So Lisa thought Eliana was the same age as her daughter.

Lisa sat down with force, her face pale. "No, that can't be! You look younger than that! You're lying!"

Layla, who was also shocked, said, "Yes, you're lying! I even look older than you! You can't be 24!"

Eliana looked at them with a smirk. Tobias said, i know your niadis grandmother raised you because your mom had postpartum depression at that time, but saying it was in the year 2000 is a lie.

Layla looked at the ID card briefly before throwing it back at Eliana. "No, this can be forged."

Eliana picked up her ID card and walked out, saying, "Suit yourself."
