The Disruptor: One Piece

As we sailed further into the Grand Line, the seas grew more dangerous, not only due to the unpredictable weather but because of the looming shadows of two of the greatest pirates alive who were equally powerful and their reputation didn't pale in comparison to Roger's. Edward Newgate, later known as Whitebeard, and Golden Lion Shiki.

Our first encounter with Newgate's crew came as a surprise. The Oro Jackson had been cutting through the waves peacefully in the fog, when suddenly, a massive shadow appeared on the horizon and we saw it, 'the Moby Dick', the flagship of Newgate's crew.

Though Newgate hadn't yet earned the fearsome title of "The Strongest Man in the World," his reputation was already enough to make any pirate tremble.

From the deck of his ship, Newgate himself, a giant of a man, stood tall, his eyes gleaming with interest. His crew, the Whitebeard Pirates, were formidable in their own right, filled with seasoned warriors who had cut their teeth on the harshest parts of the Grand Line.

Roger, always eager for a challenge, didn't hesitate. "Oi, Newgate! Let's see who's the better pirate today!"

Newgate grinned, a deep rumble of laughter escaping him. "Roger! Don't get cocky. I'll crush you if you try to do anything funny!"

Though it wasn't meant to be an all out war, the skirmish between them was intense. The clash between Roger and Newgate's conqueror's haki shook the sea around us.

The clouds as we saw parted where the two fought Newgate's strength was terrifying, and even though he hadn't yet eaten the Shock-Shock fruit, his monstrous haki and physical prowess were enough to match Roger blow for blow.

Everybody watched from the sidelines and I was, too green to get involved into such a fight. The sheer power of Newgate and Roger, even in this brief skirmish, was awe-inspiring.

After a few hours of battle, the two captains exchanged grins and backed off to their own ships, their mutual respect for the other clear.

"We'll meet again, Roger! and it won't be a duel" Newgate bellowed, as his ship drifted away into the horizon. Hearing this Roger laughed out saying "You heard that, you guys need to get stonger."

A few months passed just like that. It was all good until one day Shiki decided to ambush us at a port town. It was a lot less friendly. Shiki, the Golden Lion, was always a pirate of ambition, and he didn't hide his disdain for Roger's growing fame.

We were docked on a remote island, resupplying when Shiki's small fleet appeared, surrounding us with their sheer numbers. Unlike our clash with Newgate, this wasn't a test of strength, it was a challenge to Roger's authority.

Coming to the side of the ship, Shiki called down to Roger with a wicked grin. "Roger! Join forces with me, come under my banner and together we'll rule the seas! No one could stand in our way!"

Roger wasn't interested he laughed as he said "Sorry, Shiki. I sail where I want, and I don't plan to follow anyone else's lead."

Shiki's smile faltered. "You're making a mistake, Roger. I won't ask again!"

When Roger refused, Shiki ordered his men to attack, and a fierce skirmish broke out. It wasn't the Edd War yet, just a small battle, but the tension was palpable. Shiki's Float-Float Fruit powers gave him an advantage, as he sent boulders and debris hurtling down toward us, but our crew held firm.

Roger and Shiki clashed briefly, their haki flaring as they exchanged blows, but neither gained a clear upper hand. It wasn't a fight to the finish, and we eventually retreated while trading strikes.

Though this was just a small skirmish, it left a mark on Shiki's pride. He clearly had bigger plans, but for now, he let us go, vowing to face Roger again when the time was right.

With these and some more random encounters we had, the legend of Gold Roger continued to grow. Whether it was Newgate's respect or Shiki's fury, the Roger Pirates were making their mark across the Grand Line. And as always, I trained and fought alongside them, knowing that every battle brought me closer to becoming stronger, and more a part of this legendary crew.

During some of our journeys we came across something that attracted Roger's attention to investigate the 800 year void century.

Soon Roger's curiosity attracted the attention of World Government. His keen intrest in historical texts like ponegliff's, ancient books and maps was noticed by the World Government and made all of us in the Roger Pirates became the most delicious target in everyone's eyes.

This didn't go unnoticed by Roger and Rayleigh's eyes. The sudden hike of the existing bounties made Roger feel wronged but made him even more determined to search for the long hidden history of 800 years.

This was also the time where rumors about the last island 'Raftel', an unreachable Island resting in the Grand Line that wasn't on any existing map started to spread around among the pirates.

Almost all of the crew members got bounties all of a sudden including me, Shanks and Buggy. Seeing my first bounty I was not disappointed as it wasn't as low as chopper.

Seeing my handsome picture in the bounty poster Roger said "Ain't he turning into a fine young man."

"If the World Government knew he was able to use Conqueror's Haki at the age of one, his bounty would be even higher than Shanks" Rayleigh sitting beside with a newspaper said.

"Don't worry, the kid haven't manifested it since then" Roger said glancing me from far.

Many more months passed by in calmness of the sea. We only had continuous confrontations with Marines during this time period. It's as if there aren't any other pirates sailing on the seas nowadays.

My sword skills as well as physical prowess were getting trained everyday fighting with crew members. At present only one of my skill has been practiced to (Top) level, as I used it continuously until today since I copied it.

My skill Voice of All Things has surpassed Roger's reaching the (Top) level. I've even learned Medicine under Crocus for some time and raising it to (Intermediate) level.

By the way we had a new crew member sometime ago. After being defeated by Roger he joined us and he fights Roger everyday trying to defeat him in every fight only to be defeated each day.
