The Disruptor: One Piece

Chapter 25: Cannon restored, 3D2Y.

The day before, Luffy woke up in a frenzy, searching desperately for his brother Ace. His cries echoed through the place until Jinbei restrained him, forcefully bringing him back to his senses. "Calm yourself, Luffy!" Jinbei bellowed, his voice firm as he pinned the struggling pirate.

Once Luffy stopped thrashing, Jinbei explained what had happened while he was unconscious.

Relieved to learn that Ace had been rescued and Whitebeard was safe, Luffy quickly returned to his usual self. "I'm hungry! I want food... lots of food!" he declared, his grin as wide as ever.

Jinbei sighed, shaking his head. "He's hopeless," he muttered but led Luffy to Rayleigh, who had prepared for this exact moment.

At Rayleigh's request, a feast awaited. Luffy dove in, devouring food as though he hadn't eaten in centuries.

"So, what's your plan now, kid? Rayleigh asked, his tone both curious and serious. Now that Ace is safe, what's next?" Rayleigh questioned.

Luffy paused briefly, swallowing a massive bite of meat. "I need to find my friends and then continue our journey," he said with a carefree smile.

Rayleigh leaned back, observing Luffy with a sharp calculating gaze. "You do realize you're still weak, don't you? Kizaru alone almost wiped out your entire crew." Luffy froze mid-bite hearing his words. The words hit him like a punch to the gut. Slowly, he set his food down, his expression sobering as he looked at Rayleigh.

"Don't worry your crew is safe," Rayleigh continued, his tone steady but firm. "But they're weak, just like you. You all can't survive the next half of the Grand Line with the strength you have now. If you don't grow stronger, you'll be helpless again, and next time, there might not be anyone to help you out."

The weight of Rayleigh's words sank in, and for a moment, Luffy was silent.

Rayleigh's voice softened slightly. "Your crew must be desperate to reunite with you after hearing about Ace's execution and your role in the Paramount War. But what you all need now isn't a reunion it's time. Time to train, to grow, and to prepare for the challenges ahead on your journey."

"I want to get stronger," Luffy said suddenly spoke, his voice quiet but resolute. He clenched his fists, determination burning in his eyes. "Strong enough that I'll never feel weak or helpless again. Strong enough to stand firm and protect my crew, no matter what."

Rayleigh smirked. "Then it's decided. I'll train you. But first, we need to let your crew know the plan. They need to understand where and when to meet you. And for that, we'll have to make some noise." So as a captain what's your choice kid?" Rayleigh asked with a serious tone.

Rayleigh broke the silence giving a laugh and said "Want me to train you kid?" to which luffy nodded and Then decided to meet his crew after two years instead of their prior three days arrangement. But the question now was how to contact his crew.

Rayleigh suggested using the News Coo to send a hidden message to Luffy's crew, ensuring it reached them without drawing suspicion. But to do so, they needed to do something crazy, something the world couldn't ignore. Something so big that it can catch the attention of journalists and can be spread all over the world without them knowing about their real purpose.

They would use the News Coo to deliver a hidden message to Luffy's crew. The message would ensure the Straw Hats knew to stay where they were, train hard, and regroup in two years instead of the previously agreed three days.

And thus came up Rayleigh's plan came in existance to attack Marineford with luffy grabbing everyone's attention and then retreat. With luffy agreeing to his plans it was simple.

The plan was crazy, and explaining it to Luffy required patience and after multiple attempts. After hours of discussion and preparation, Rayleigh, Jinbei, and Luffy set sail for Marineford ready to create the spectacle that would send a message to the Straw Hats without tipping anyone about their agenta throughout the world.

As they approached Marineford, the trio attacked a marine vessel. They overpowered the crew, commandeering the ship as their means to enter the heart of enemy territory.

The stage was set, and the world was about to witness the Straw Hat captain's declaration of defiance and his promise to return stronger than ever. Luffy's bold act ensured every journalist's eyes glued to him.

With their mission accomplished, Rayleigh, Jinbei, and Luffy withdrew, leaving behind a puzzled crowd speculating various theories for the young supernovas small act of defiance.

This news days later created doubts and had many people speculating various theories about what and why luffy did at Marineford. Many were curious about the relationship between him and Roger's first mate 'Dark King Silvers Rayleigh'.

Marines took luffy's recent actions of raiding Judicial Island and burning World Governments flag, his infiltration and escape with many of inmates from the inescapable Impel Down and even his participation in the Paramount war at marine headquarters Marineford and then his actions of ringing the Ox Bell post-war combined as his challenge towards the Marines righteousness and World Governments authority.

This all resulted in spreading his notoriety throughout the seas and increase in his bounty without him being aware of it, as he was getting trained harshly on a remote island located in calm belt near Amazon Lily by Rayleigh.

When the Straw Hats got the news days later they understood their captain's order and started training in their own unique ways, except well Zoro. It took some time but he eventually got the message and decided to take Mihawk's help.

They each went their ways to train themselves so that when they meet back again they won't be a burden. Zoro, Nami, Ussop, Sanji, Chopper, Robin, Brook, Franky all trained in their own way.

During this time Whitebeard Pirates started fighting to get back the territories they lost to others. Fishmen Island was usurped by Big Mom Pirates during this time around making Jinbei join Big Mom Pirates.

Buggy due to his revealed background during the Paramount war as apprentice in Roger Pirates resulted in him being granted the title of a Warlord alongside Edward Weevil.

Sengoku retired as the Fleet Admiral and a fight occurred between Aokiji and Akainu resulting in Aokiji's defeat and Akainu becoming the new Fleet Admiral. Many huge changes occurred during this time.

Still what everyone couldn't forget was the existence of King Pirates. Knowing that somewhere in these chaotic seas there exists a Pirate crew whose members are strong to such a degree that with only seven members they were enough to change the tide of war against Whitebeard Pirates.

Nobody could find their traces or nobody knows how many more such monsters are there in their crew. Many were curious about how strong their captain 'KING' would be to be commanding such existences.
