Christian was not in his usual self. He seemed absentminded as he watched the documents piled up on his desk. He was still thinking about Cassie, Ella and Flint.

The three of them went missing and they suspected that the three went to the other world together with Liam and other guardian warriors.

Zu Wan already mobilized the Fiery Eagles to locate Tristan and Zhen-Zhen. This was an urgent matter. They needed to find Tristan and Zhen-Zhen. They were the only ones who could open a portal going to another world.

Grandpa Lu was helping Zu Wan to find the husband and wife. The Davis Family was still on high alert since two members of the family disappeared.

Christian massaged his temples as he leaned his back on his chair. He was not able to sleep last night just thinking about Ella and Cassie.

'What have you done, Cassie?! You went overboard again. How can you act recklessly?' Christian had the urge to scold his twin sister. Too bad she was not here.to listen to his nagging.

Myrene, his secretary, noticed the troubled expression on his face. She was contemplating whether to approach Christian or not.

But after debating inside her mind, she mustered her courage up to approach Christian. She made him a coffee.

"Sir, are you okay?" Myrene softly asked him. "Have some coffee first," she added.

Christian opened his eyes and tossed a look at her. He darted his gaze back and forth between Myrene's face and the coffee in her hand.

"Do I look okay to you?" Christian spat back at her, taking his frustration out on her.

Myrene was rendered speechless. Christian was frightening when angry. And she didn't know how she would pacify him.

"I'm sorry sir," Myrene apologized, shifting her gaze to the floor. Christian could only sigh helplessly.

"No need to apologize. It's my fault for getting mad at you for no reason."

Christian couldn't concentrate on his work. 'What should I do? I need to find them… I want to help.'

Blue could understand Christian's feelings. He also wanted to find Scarlet and others. But he has become an ordinary tiger now. No power and no extraordinary ability.

Blue approached Christian, nudging his nose against Christian's lap. He gently stroked Blue's head. Christian finally calmed down because of Blue.

Myrene felt glad to see the interaction between Christian and Blue. The master and pet were like brothers. They could understand each other's feelings. There was a look of admiration in Myrene's eyes as she looked at them.

'I want to get close to them…' Myrene thought to herself. Besides, this was what her mother wanted. As much as possible, she should win him over.

Myrene was about to say something when suddenly, they heard a knock outside the door. Christian motioned Myrene to open the door.

"Cousin!!!" Allen dashed inside the office as soon as the door slid open.

Christian didn't expect Allen to come. "Why are you here?"

Allen Emmanuel Sy Davis, the son of Alveena Sy and Andrew Davis. He was currently the Finance Director of the Sy Corp. He dropped by to visit Christian after hearing what happened to his cousin Cassie and Ella.

"I'm here to check on you," Allen promptly responded. Then he turned to Myrene, greeting her. "Hi, Miss Beautiful! I'm sorry to barge in. I'm Allen Emmanuel Sy Davis! Christian's cousin.

May I know your name?"

Myrene was taken aback for a moment. If Christian was aloof and indifferent, Allen was the opposite. He was friendly and approachable.

"Hi, Mr. Allen. I'm Myrene Keller, CEO Davis' new secretary." Myrene introduced herself to Allen.

Allen's eyes were fixed on Myrene. He had to admit that his cousin's secretary looked charming and pretty.

"Allen Emmanuel, keep your eyes in their proper places," Christian mumbled, getting Allen's attention back to him.

Allen could only laugh awkwardly while scratching his face. Christian gave him a warning so he had to behave.

"Leave us alone," Christian sternly said, commanding Myrene. His secretary could only obey his command and leave.

"Hey cousin, don't be so harsh on your secretary." Allen tapped Christian's shoulder and pulled him towards the sofa. He wanted to talk to him about the situation.

"Cousin… What happened to Cassie and Ella?" Allen was calling Ella by her name since he didn't consider her as his Aunt. Cassie and Christian were directly connected to her.

"They went missing…"

Allen fell silent for a moment. He was aware of Cassie's and Christian's power. He was one of the children the guardian warriors kidnapped before. Cassie and Christian shared this secret with him.

"Don't worry about them. I know Cassie. She can handle this. She will protect Ella just like how you both protected me before." Allen came there to comfort Christian.

Christian just bobbed his head. But he wished that he was also there to protect them and fight alongside them. However, he already lost his power.

"To cheer you up! Come with me! I have a surprise for you," Allen invited him, his eyes gleaming with excitement.

Christian just glanced at him, puzzled.

"You can bring your secretary. The more the merrier!" Allen suggested.

Christian didn't know whether to say yes or no. But with Allen's enthusiasm, he was able to convince Christian to come. Myrene was also included.

At around 6:30 pm, Allen fetched Christian and Myrene. The three of them left the Heavenly Star Enterprise and headed straight into his house. Allen bought a new house and this would serve as his housewarming party.

When they entered the house, three people were already there, waiting for them. Christian didn't expect to see the whole squad in Allen's house.

Ayumi: "Welcome, Christian!"

Elijah: "Surprise!"

Kenji: "Oh Bro! You finally went out of your cave!"

Christian remained silent for five seconds, observing the three of them.

"Why are you all here?" Christian asked, a look of surprise still plastered on his face.

Ayumi Sy was supposed to be studying abroad together with Elijah Wilkins. He had no idea that the two ladies returned to the City of Empire.

Elijah was the one who approached Christian, hugging him tightly. Christian just froze on his spot because of that sudden hug.

Myrene was silently observing them at the back.
