Chapter 931 931: Don't Want To Leave Her Behind
As Cassie continued fighting the guardian warriors in the other realm, Christian and Zu Wan were informed that something happened in the Medical Facility of the Fiery Eagle's Main Headquarters.
"What did you just say?" Christian asked Dos. He was having dinner together with Grandpa Lu, Zu Wan, and Titania when Dos called Zero's number.
Dos found out that Ella became missing. When he searched for her in Liam's private ward. He was surprised to see an empty room.
When they checked the CCTV footage near the ward, they saw two men entering Liam's room. After a few minutes, he saw Flint and Ella together.
The CCTV was blinded by the bright lights that it failed to record what happened next. The only clue they had was that four people entered Liam's ward and now they were gone!
"They've gone missing…" Dos repeated his words.
Christian felt like his energy was drained upon hearing that. He suspected that this incident was connected to the guardian warriors.
He excused himself in front of Titania, Grandpa Lu, and Zu Wan. But Zu Wan followed him as he sensed that something seemed off.
Christian proceeded to his secret room as Zero and checked the footage in the Training Camp. He wondered if Cassie was still there.
"What's wrong, Christian?" Zu Wan asked Christian.
"Grandpa… don't be surprised but… Aunt Ella disappeared along with Flint and Uncle Liam," Christian informed him with his downcasted look.
Zu Wan was taken aback for a moment. His expression darkened when he realized that this must be the work of the guardian warriors.
When Christian couldn't see Cassie, he called one training camp member to check on her in the sleeping quarters. Zu Wan and Christian waited.
After a while, a report came from the Training Camp member. Cassie also disappeared. She was nowhere to be found in the sleeping quarters!
Christian dropped the phone as soon as he received that information.
"What is it, Christian?" Zu Wan asked him again. He was still trying to absorb what he heard. Ella disappeared. How would he explain this to Titania?
"Grandpa… I think Cassie made another big mistake! She… left… She followed the guardian warriors to the other realm."
Zu Wan almost fell when he heard that. Fortunately, Christian was able to grab him.
"This is so bad. There's no way we can follow them. Both of us had lost our powers…" Zu Wan mumbled, clenching his fists. He was so worried about Cassie and Ella.
Christian also felt helpless knowing that he couldn't do anything to help Ella and Cassie. "Why do I feel like I'm so useless right now, Grandpa… I couldn't help them. I should have stopped Cassie. I knew she was going to create trouble. Now, it's too late."
The two men couldn't help but blame themselves.
"We have no choice left. I have to leave and find your Mom and Dad. They are the only people who can help us bring Ella and Cassie back," Zu Wan said. Zhen-Zhen and Tristan had been gone for too long. They stopped communicating with them. He wondered what happened to them.
"Okay, Grandpa… let's try contacting Mom and Dad. Cassie will be in serious trouble once they find out." Christian had the urge to scold Cassie big time. However, she was not around.
Now, they were being problematic as they didn't know how they could bring them back to this world.
Meanwhile, in the other realm… Cassie continued attacking the water-element wielders. With Scarlet carrying her at her back, the two moved so fast.
Physically attacking the two guardian warriors, Cassie punched them in the face and struck the back of their heads, knocking them down.
Now, she had to deal with the wind-element wielders who were helping Calibur in extinguishing the fire on his body.
"Okay. Last two…" Cassie mumbled.
She was going to attack them when suddenly the two summoned five tornadoes. This time they tried to attack Flint and Justine who were inside Cassie's barrier.
They thought they needed to distract Cassie. The two men were easy to deal with as compared to Cassie so they decided to target them.
Unleashing their full wind power, strong winds attacked Cassie, Justine, and Flint in every direction. Cassie felt like she was experiencing a hurricane. Scarlet was also having a hard time moving against the wind.
Cassie looked at Flint and Justine. Justine was not yet done working with the dimension-hopping spell.
"Oh no!" Cassie could feel that her barrier was about to break at any minute. She had to help Justine and Flint.
"Scarlet, let's protect them!" Cassie instructed Scarlet. She leaped, running toward Flint and Justine. The tornadoes were trying to break the barrier and Cassie saw the cracks. It would give in soon.
"No!" Cassie released a wall of fire blocking the tornadoes. She used the fire, trying to change their course. But the wind-element wielder released more tornadoes, targeting Cassie.
"Damn! These two are also bothersome. It's my mistake to underestimate them!" Cassie thought to herself as she continued to protect and defend Flint and Justine.
"Make it fast, Justine. Leave this place as soon as possible. I can't hold up for very long!" Cassie made another barrier, preventing the other four tornadoes from attacking Justine and Flint.
"But we can't leave you here!" Flint objected. Cassie needed to be in a circle so that she could come with them. But she was too busy blocking the enemy's attack.
"I'm fine. Just leave without me. I will try to find you! You must go to a safe place first!" Cassie couldn't concentrate on fighting the guardian warriors if they kept attacking Flint and Justine. She wanted to ensure their safety first.
She couldn't go all out as well, afraid that Flint and Justine would get hurt. What if she failed to control her power and ended up hurting those two? She didn't want that to happen. So it was best if the two men would leave.
"I'm done!" Justine blurted out. Then he began to chant the spell.
"Good!" Cassie heaved a sigh of relief.
But Flint did something crazy! When Justine was about to finish the chants, he stepped out of the circle as he didn't want to leave Cassie alone.
A bright light appeared and Justine had gone to another location, leaving Cassie and Flint in that mountain.
"Huh?! Why are you still here?" Cassie asked Flint in disbelief.
