The CEO's Wife Is A Demon God's Daughter

Cassie, Flint, and Justine thought the enemy didn't see them after the flocks of Shaman's hawks were gone. They transferred to another location, searching for the members of the opposing clan.

Flint gently pushed Cassie away from him. He didn't want to be reminded of how soft Cassie's body was. He couldn't look straight into her eyes.

Meanwhile, Justine just feigned ignorance, pretending he didn't see how the two were hugging each other a while ago.

"We have to go to our hidden barracks. Our comrades are hiding there. I think Eleven will also go there together with our former guardian leader and Ella."

Justine started to draw the symbol on the ground which they needed for dimension hopping. Unlike Cassie, the guardian couldn't do teleportation without chanting a spell. Cassie couldn't use her teleportation as well as she wasn't familiar yet with this place. Unless she knew where they were going, she could teleport there together with the boys.

Furthermore, she didn't have to hide her power from Flint anymore. Sooner or later, she would have to use her ability to protect everyone and fight the enemies.

"Are you going to use that trick again?" Flint asked Justine out of the blue. He was glaring at Justine. He couldn't believe that he had another identity.

Justine just let out a soft chuckle. Flint was still looking daggers at him. It was not his fault that Flint was here so why was he getting mad at him?

He shrugged his shoulders and continued focusing on what he was doing. Flint became quiet as Justine was ignoring him.

Justine was still in the middle of creating the symbol when five people suddenly appeared from out of nowhere.

"You're back, Justine!" One man spoke up, catching their attention.

When the three of them looked in the direction of that voice, they saw giant vines spurting out of the ground, moving at them at a speedy pace!

"Watch out!" Justine yelled, warning Flint and Cassie. The moving giant vines started attacking them!

Flint was stunned seeing those giant vines so he was not able to dodge the attack. Before he knew it, several vines already captured him, wrapping her arms and legs.

"Aaah!" Flint screamed in pain as the thorns of the giant vines were buried deep into his flesh. He started to bleed.

"Ninth!"

"Flint!"

Cassie and Justine called him out with their worried voices.

"Damn! They got him!" Justine cursed as he jumped from one vine to another.

Their enemies were all element-wielders. Two people were controlling the ground and the giant vines. No wonder the surface of the ground started shaking, making Justine and Cassie stagger on their footings.

"Hahaha!" Their vicious and sinister laughter echoed in the mountain.

They knew that Justine couldn't fight back as he was a healer. His power was not for an offensive type of fighter! He was a support who could heal his comrades.

"Who are these people you brought with you, Justine?" Another man questioned Justine. They realized that Cassie and Flint were wearing different clothes from them.

"Just shut up, Calibur!" Justine said. He was looking at Flint who got captured by the giant vines. He was trying to figure out how he would save him.

Meanwhile, Cassie's anger surged up as soon as she saw Flint bleeding. "How Dare You Hurt My Man!" Cassie screamed through her gritted teeth. Her blue eyes turned red. Cassie was hot-tempered as compared to Christian. She could easily get mad especially if she saw someone she cared for suffering or being hurt.

Surprised by her words, Flint and Justine turned in her direction. Cassie was already emanating a chilly aura. It didn't take long before red flames surrounded her two palms.

Flint's jaw dropped and his eyes went round. He couldn't believe what he was seeing right now.

"Holy crap! She is on fire… I mean… her hands are on fire!" Flint subconsciously mumbled. He had forgotten about the pain as his attention was diverted to Cassie and her power.

Flint even blinked his eyes several times, trying to clear his vision. He thought he must be hallucinating right now. How could this be possible? Cassie… has power too?

On the other hand, Justine felt proud seeing Cassie unleashing her power. He was putting all his hope in her.

"Ahuh! She is also an element-wielder. And her power is fire!" One enemy commented as he looked at Cassie.

"Then it's my turn to step up! My water element will crush her down!' Another warrior arrogantly stated.

Justine just smiled inwardly as he listened to them. They were acting very arrogant but they didn't know who was their enemy. The woman in front of them was the demon god's granddaughter. Her fire was more powerful than any other fire element-wielder!

The guardian warrior used his water element to attack Cassie. He summoned two big waves forming a tornado to trample Cassie and her fire.

"Tidal Water Tornado!" He shouted as he released the two water tornadoes, charging in Cassie's direction.

However, before the water tornadoes hit Cassie, she suddenly disappeared from her spot. She used her short-distance teleportation to go to Flint.

She used her fire fists to cut and burn the giant vines that were holding Flint captive.

"She's fast! How did she do that!" The guardian warriors were awestruck when Cassie moved in a flash. In the end, she succeeded in releasing Flint from the giant vines.

Holding him tight, the two of them landed on the ground, near Justine.

"Justine! You should leave together with Flint. I will hold them down here. You should escape and heal him!"

Cassie was so determined to give those five men a lesson. They hurt Flint! This made her enraged.

Without waiting for Justine, Cassie built a strong barrier that served as protection for Justine and Flint. They were inside the invisible barrier. She motioned Justine to continue his preparation for the dimension-hopping spell. She would keep the other guardian warriors busy. She would fight them alone.

"Now, come at me, you weaklings!" Cassie said, provoking them.
