The CEO's Wife Is A Demon God's Daughter

Chapter 928 928: Their Journey Started!

Flint's jaw dropped and his eyes widened at Justine's remarks. Another realm? No way?! How could this be real? How is that possible?

Flint still couldn't fathom how this happened. Was this some kind of magic? Did magic truly exist?

As Flint was still trying to absorb everything, Justine spoke to Cassie. "Master, are you okay? I guess we accidentally got separated from Eleven and our former guardian leader. But don't worry. I believe that Eleven will bring him to a secure place."

"Wait… how about Ella? Where is she?" Flint got worried when he didn't see Ella around.

This time it was Cassie who was taken aback. "What? Aunt… I mean Ella is here?"

Flint turned to look at her and frowned. "Do you know her?"

Cassie bit her lower lip. She hadn't revealed yet that she was Cassandra Davis, Ella's niece. She had no plan of telling Flint now. Besides, she would feel embarrassed knowing that she was the one who boldly confessed her feelings for him and got rejected right away.

"I just know her name," Cassie replied, shrugging her shoulders.

"I must find her!" Flint mumbled, turning around to leave.

But Justine was fast enough to stop him. He grabbed Flint's elbow.

"You can't wander around here alone otherwise, you will be in danger. This is not a place for ordinary people. Here… some people have superpowers." Justine warned him.

Flint just yanked his arm, removing Justine's grip. "This gives me more reason to find her! I don't care about myself. But I have to find Ella as soon as possible. I need to protect her!"

'So Aunt Ella was the reason why Flint got here. Both of them… entered Uncle Liam's ward when we were about to leave.'

"Calm down. I think Eleven is with her. He will protect her. Trust me… Eleven is more powerful than you think." Justine said with certainty.

Flint immediately grabbed Justine by his collar. "Who are you? What are you up to?" There was a cold glint flashing through his eyes as he gazed at Justine. Flint was enraged and he wanted to beat him right now.

"I'm not a bad guy, Ninth! We asked for Cassie's help. We didn't expect that you would tag along with us!" Justine reasoned out, holding Flint's wrist.

He could break out of his grip easily if he would use his real strength. But Cassie was there, giving him a warning look. This only meant Cassie didn't want Justine to fight back, otherwise, Flint might get hurt.

"Miss Cassie help!" Justine resorted to this as he was not allowed to fight back against Flint. He didn't want to offend Cassie.

Meanwhile, Cassie just heaved a deep sigh and walked closer to them. She touched Flint's hand and told him. "Release him now… We will explain everything to you."

Flint glanced at Cassie for a long moment. He contemplated for a while. But seeing her pleading look, he finally gave in, thus releasing Justine from his grasp.

"Okay. What is this all about?" Flint toned down a little bit, facing both Justine and Cassie.

"Justine and Eleven are not from our world. They are called guardian warriors. This is their world… and they have powers. Liam… is their former leader. He also has power. And the reason why he is not waking up… was because of the curse."

"This world is in a chaotic state right now. They are in a war. They asked for my help, thinking that I could help them. We also came here to cure Liam." Cassie hoped Flint would understand and believe her words.

"We have to leave this place and reunite with others!" Justine suddenly interrupted them as he noticed something strange. There was a flock of birds coming their way.

Justine pointed his fingers at the sky. Cassie and Flint followed his line of sight.

"So many birds? Where are they going?" Cassie asked him in amusement.

"Fuck! They are on the move! We have to hide! We can't let the birds see us, otherwise, our enemy will be able to trace us!" Justine immediately grabbed Cassie's hand along with Flint's hand. He pulled them towards the big tree which they could use as a hiding spot.

"What is happening?" Flint asked Justine. He was wondering why Justine looked afraid of the birds.

"Those birds… are not ordinary birds. They are Shaman's hawks, serving as their messengers. These birds will suddenly attack you once they notice that you don't belong to the opposing faction!"

"Their beaks are poisonous! It can immobilize your body for an hour!" Justine added.

"Yes! We should hide! I don't wanna fight and hurt birds!" Cassie mumbled as she looked up at the sky.

The birds seemed to be conducting a wide range of searches in the mountains and forests.

The three tried their best to fit their bodies on the tree trunk. Cassie was in the middle of them. "How long are we going to stick like this?" Flint complained, feeling a little bit awkward. Their bodies were stuck in that small space trying to hide from those hawks.

"Just endure it for a while. We have to wait until the spying birds disappear!" Justine mumbled.

Tired of hearing Flint's complaints, Cassie shoved him to the tree trunk and trapped him using her arms. Flint was caught off guard by Cassie's sudden movement.

Facing Flint, Cassie pressed her own body against him and hugged him. This was a better position to hide themselves, that's what Cassie thought.

Justine: "..."

Flint: "..."

Both men were rendered speechless. This kind of position seemed very awkward. Justine looked like a third wheel among them.

'Nyay! I guess my Master is trying to take advantage of this opportunity to hug Ninth!' Justine just smiled awkwardly while scratching the back of his face.

It seemed that Cassie's technique was effective in shutting Flint's mouth. He never said another complaint. He just stood there in his spot, unmoving.

'Sigh. What should I do with this woman?' Flint shook his head helplessly.

This was the start of their journey in this other world!
