Chapter 8: Wish of Veldanava
Henrik lay before Velzard as she prepared to 'extract' information out of him regarding both of her brothers. His eyes were barely open and blood was dripping from his mouth and nose. If it wasn't for [Pain Nullification], there's no doubt Henrik would already be passed out.
'Great Sage. Is there a way to survive?' Henrik thought to himself but for some reason, he received no answer.
'Great Sage. Did Velzard knock you out or something?' Once again, Henrik receives no answer. He was starting to regret asking Veldanava to replace Rimuru with him. This never happened to the slime.
'Great Sage, ANSWER ME. Please Great Sage, I don't wanna die.' Then, a sound came into Henrik's head.
[Conditions met. Order of Veldanava initiating].
Henrik heard the voice of [Great Sage] except it was different. This was far more robotic. While [Great Sage] isn't meant to have any type of sentience or free will and exist only to give information and manage skills, until it becomes Raphael, when [Great Sage] spoke, there was more urgency to give the information.
Now, though, it seemed like this was the voice of [Great Sage], but it was something else speaking.
'Of course. The World Language. The thing Great Sage based its voice off. I've heard it before while I was waking up. Why is it speaking now though?'
[Protecting target]
Henrik heard, it didn't seem Velzard was able to hear anything, this was all happening so quick but she didn't react to the voice, only stand over Henrik in pure rage as she prepared for the 'extraction.'
Then, without any warning, Henrik simply lost consciousness. Maybe the effects of Velzard's attack was delayed because of adrenaline. But Henrik knew it was much, much more than that. It was time to become broken.
After he fell unconscious, a small, round blue barrier appeared on his chest. Then, a moment after it first formed, the barrier grew and grew until it completely enveloped Henrik's body.
"What? How?" Velzard asked as she raise her fist to the barrier, preparing to attack and hopefully smash it. Then, a memory flooded her mind. A memory of the first moment of her life, the same memory her and her siblings share.
It's Veldanava giving them an order, one that they all sensed they'd best not go against.
"One day, you may come across a blue barrier from someone that radiates my power. Do not stop it."
This memory then made her lower her arm as it was the one time she'd genuinely seen fear in Veldanava's eyes. Whatever was happening, if prevented, she knew not even Veldanava was sure he could stop. So she thought it best to evaluate the situation before striking the barrier as she took a few steps back.
Back inside the barrier, it seemed as though Henrik was completely out of it as he continued to hear the World Language more.
[Barrier projected. Target Safe.

Please be aware, should you choose option three, further unique skill evolution will not be possible by normal means. Should option three be chosen, skill [Magicule Breeder Reactor] will be granted to target.]
'What? What's going on? I can become a True Dragon? And what's this Wish of Veldanava?
Did he leave something in this body? He must have. Ok, calm down Henrik. I need to focus on what to choose.
If I choose to become a True Dragon, then there's no guarantee that I'll be able to beat Velzard. It would just shock her and make her think even more I'm imitating Veldanava. And it's not like she hasn't killed her siblings before.
If I evolve my unique skills, then all I know is [Great Sage] will become [Raphael, Lord of Wisdom], only [Perversion] evolving might be helpful but that's a massive gamble on my life.
But, if I choose to get new unique skills and evolve them, I'll get [Magicule Breeder Reactor]. I'm not sure how that's even possible because that's part of Milim's ultimate skill so only she should have it. Then again, this is Veldanava when he was omnipotent, and he did give me the skills of Rimuru so maybe it's possible.
Regardless, if I have [Magicule Breeder Reactor], it's possible that I can use it with my current unique skills and my new ultimate skills in order to win, or at least not die.
But then I won't be able to gain more ultimate's the normal way. What does that even mean? Jesus Christ, sorry Milim Nava, how much of an anomaly did that dragon make me? I have no other choice though. This is Velzard I'm dealing with.
Ok, I've made up my mind. Use the Wish of Veldanava to grant me new unique skills and evolve them. Option three.'

Hi, Omni_God2000 here.
Just wanted to ask if any of you would like to take a guess at what Henrik's new ultimate skills do. Also, if you'd like, I'd appreciate your honest feedback on the Wish of Veldanava concept.
I don't want to go against the rules of the Tensura verse and I don't think I have given the explaination next chapter but I'd appreicate your honest opinoins on the matter.
Thanks for reading and stay tuned.
