Chapter 11: Creating the City
With one last kneeling down, Henrik had finally place the final body of his dead subordinates, lining them up in the clearing him and Velzard had just finished their 'meeting' in. He hadn't noticed, because of the adrenaline, that punching Velzard had actually damaged his hand beyond repair.
If he wanted, use could use [Veldanava, God of Creation] to gain a healing skill and repair, or as a spiritual being just repair it himself but he decided that the damage on his hand would serve as a reminder of the lives that were lost. He had swore to himself to never again be so reckless and let his people die, and this now discoloured hand would forever be a reminder of it.
"So, these are all the ones my sister killed. What will you do with them?" Veldora asked as he and Henrik stood in the darkness as rain started to pour from the sky. They had been here for hours, discussing Veldanava and what exactly Veldora knew about Henrik, in which time, Veldora had taken human form and modelled it just as Henrik told him to, now looking as he did in the anime.
"I'll put them into [Imaginary Space] and take them home. Then their families can decide what to do with them. Veldora, your first task is simple. Learn to fully contain your aura. Your current method is far from perfect, and if you're going to be living in my nation, I don't want my people being killed for walking into your room.
Having the Storm Dragon is already gonna make it tougher to get allies. In fact, once the Church learns of this, they'll likely use their influence to turn as many nations against us as possible. And while I'm sure you'd love for me to just send you to kill any enemies, I'd rather make friends and ensure we're at peace.
Personally, I can just instinctively contain my aura, if I couldn't my subordinates would all be dead. So, if you want some advice, picture your aura as a physical thing, reach out in your mind and pull it all in. Over time, you can learn to manipulate it properly."
"Come on Henrik, I barely can do it now, and you tell me it's not enough. I thought you said you had a plan for me to release my aura and not worry about it," Veldora pouted as he spoke.
"I do. But it won't happen over night. And even then, you would have to contain your aura a lot when you're walking around. I'd like to have you in future meetings and I can't do that if I'm speaking to an allied king or queen and your very presence kills them. Might be a problem for diplomacy.
I also want you start your first patrol of the forest. If Velzard was here I have no doubt there maybe other things you can't handle so if you run into a fight that's too much, use your [Enforcement Summon] and you'll be able summon me through our soul corridor. Oh, and since I know you don't care for patrols, I'll give you ten chapters of Black Clover. But only for this first time, think of it as a signing bonus."
Veldora's eyes widened with pure excitement at the thought of so much manga. Sixty altogether if you include the fifty he was currently owed.
"HAHAHAHAHA. I would've patrolled the forest ten times for one chapter. Of course I will, you can count on the mighty Storm Dragon Veldora to keep the forest safe," Veldora bragged before the words Henrik said hit, "Wait a minute. What [Enforcement Summon]? I don't have a skill like that in my unbeatable repertoire."
"Oh right," Henrik said as he remembered he hadn't done it yet, "Since you were still in [Stomach] when it happened, I'm guessing you already know of my new skills?" Henrik asked and received a wide nod.
"Well, I'm going to evolve your unique skill into an ultimate skill. In it, there'll be the skill [Enforcement Summon]. It'll allow you to summon someone to your position who you have a soul corridor with. True, there are other ways you could summon me, but this way will alert before hand and then I'll be prepared for a fight."
"An.... Ultimate.... Skill?" Veldora said completely bewildered. He knew Henrik got an insane power up, but he had no clue what exactly he could do. Henrik hadn't realised Veldora only heard the names but blacked out for the details as he was busy reading manga.
"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, I'm the mighty Storm Dragon Veldora, I need no ultimate skill to beat anything. But if you're gonna be so insistent on giving me one, I accept. You're very welcome for me allowing it. HAHAHAHA"
"Sure," Henrik said with a smile before he raised his hands to the nearby corpses, "Devour all, Beelzebuth." Then, a large black hole like energy left Henrik's hand and absorbed all the bodies before him.
"Rest in peace, and I'm sorry for your deaths," Henrik said before offering a small pray in his mind, wishing his subordinates well in their next life.
After wiping away the small tears that began forming in his eyes, Henrik turned to Veldora and reached out towards him.
"It's time. Today, I'm gonna use my power to give you an ultimate skill, and create a whole town to start the kingdom. Then, I'm going to restrict how much I use these two ultimate's. I will create the most powerful nation ever, I will turn The Great Lazek Kingdom into an economic and military power house, I'll make it the ultimate tourist attraction. I will end the petty racism of this world and unite a nation with humans and monsters.
And you, Storm Dragon Veldora, will be my right hand man in achieving that goal. If you accept this task, I'll awaken your ultimate skill and give you manga. From this moment on, King Henrik Lazek and Veldora are sworn brothers. Now, lets swear to work together, we'll protect the world your brother made and improve it. And if anyone stands in the way of peace and freedom, they'll have us to answer too. And answer, they will.
Will you join me Veldora?"
Veldora, barely able to contain his laugh, uttered as best he could. "Of course. I don't care about most of the stuff you said in that impressive speech, and honestly I completely zoned out of most of it, but for manga, I'll do anything. Sworn brothers it is," Veldora cheered as he grabbed a hold of Henrik's hand and began shaking it with great strength. Then, Veldora heard The World Language in his mind.
[Unique Skill Investigator has been evolved into the ultimate skill Faust, Lord of Investigation. Presenting ultimate skill details.
Faust, Lord of Investigation:
It's essence is to reach the ultimate truth.
Thought Acceleration
Analytical Appraisal
All Of Creation
Probability Manipulation: Allows the user to manipulate the probability of any outcome as they please. Against lesser targets and casual events it can manipulate the exact outcome that the user desires with complete accuracy but against targets of similar strength of will/existence it can only double the odds of a specific outcome.
Pursuit of Truth: Allows the user the records of the world's events.
Danger Prediction
Enforcement Summon: Allows user to summon an ally to battle provided the user and target have a soul corridor open. Summon occurs three seconds after skill is activated]
"I see. Veldora, it seems your ultimate skill is on par with my unique skill [Perversion], maybe a little ways behind since I'm able to bypass [Spiritual Attack Nullification]. If I'm ever not available and the truth needs to be revealed, make sure to step in."
"Got it. So, can I have my manga now?" Veldora asked with a cheery smile.
"You can have it sure, but you've got to start learning to keep that aura of yours in check. You were able to contain it enough to not kill the goblins when we first met, I want you to do that and practise everyday. If you can do it in a week. I'll give you the rest of Black Clover, but if you can't. You get no chapters for a year outside of your weekly allowance."
"A year? That's just cruel," Veldora yelled until Henrik gave him a serious look, "Fine. I'll learn in a week. Things I do for manga."
Then, as promised, Henrik raised his hand in the air and summoned the next fifty chapters of Black Clover for Veldora.
"Here you go. Want me to take them back to camp until you return from your patrol?" Henrik offered with a genuine smile which made Veldora know how quickly Henrik's mood with him can change and showed him yet again why he shouldn't provoke him.
"Nah, I'll read them while I fly. So, just a quick patrol and I can come back and read more manga?" Veldora asked, his eyes filling with excitement at the thought of even more manga. At this rate, he'll finish Black Clover in a month, and that's if he doesn't fully mast his aura in a week.
'Guess I'll have to get a bit sparse with the releases,' Henrik thought before answering Veldora.
"Yep, and make sure that if you see any sentient being, tell them that this forest has been renamed The Great Lazek Kingdom and it's under new ownership. Oh, and if you see any monsters villages or caves or whatever, sentient monsters, then tell them they're welcome to come to my new city and become my subordinates. Tell them I'm offering names and a nation that'll keep them safe from the persecution of humanity."
As Henrik said this, he could see that Veldora had already began flying away but shouted back, "GOT IT. BOW TO YOU OR DIE."
"NO. I'm offering them a place to be safe and be granted names. VELDORA," Henrik yelled frustrated at him before he heard from the sky, "HAHAHAHAHA. JUST JOKING," Which gave Henrik a small chuckle.
"Maybe having a dragon around won't be so bad. Oh well, back to getting these bodies to their families. That reminds me, I didn't sense Rigur's entire team coming to provide backup. I wonder if a few went on with their mission, without me telling them too. That's a nice change, seems the evolution really made them that much smarter, I hadn't had time to realise with all the micromanagement."
With that thought, Henrik used [Instant Motion] to transport back to the camp and check on everyone. He arrived back on that hill overlooking the village, and he saw most of his subordinates waiting at the main entrance, no doubt waiting for him. For a moment, he did want to play a prank on them, but then remembered that Ranga was currently fighting for his life, and hearing anymore bad news might actually push him over the edge.
"Maybe another day," Henrik said as he once again used [Instant Motion] and appeared at the main entrance with his heroic smile back on his face.
"LORD HENRIK," Everyone yelled as they jumped at him in pure relief. In hordes, the hobgoblins, goblinas and wolves all pounced on the poor man. It's a good thing he has [Pain Nullification], otherwise the pain of all the weight might crush him. Despite that, and thanks in no small part to not being able to feel pain, Henrik let out a big grin as he felt the relief of his subordinates.
"Ok that's enough," Henrik says being using [Instant Motion] to free himself from the piled up bodies. A moment later, the pile collapsed and all the monsters fell with shocked expressions which gave Henrik a slight giggle. As they stood up, Rigurd came over to Henrik as he had noticed Henrik's hand.
"Lord Henrik, what happened, is everything okay? We heard Ranga's call and we were all worried. And we saw Veldora in the skies, we should leave before he notices us."
"I'm fine thanks Rigurd. Just hurt myself as I beat up the one responsible for killing so many of us. That reminds me, I brought back their bodies, hand them to their kin and ensure they receive a proper burial," Henrik instructed as he released the bodies of his fallen subordinates nearby.
As soon as their bodies appeared, screams of sorrow and inner torment filled the area as the living saw their dead loved ones. It seems that goblins had massive families and so many had lost someone.
"Rigurd, I'll explain the situation about Veldora soon, for now just rest assured he isn't a threat to us. In fact, he's our ally. For now, just ensure the dead are honoured."
Rigurd was stunned for a minute as he heard that Veldora was an ally, but quickly composed himself as he immediately went to fulfil the orders. Henrik then addressed the nearby monsters.
"Everyone, I can't be here long as I need to go check on Ranga, but before I go, I just want to make sure you all know that things are about to change. As your leader, I was naive in ways you can never begin to understand. I set out without even making a village guard. I completely underestimated the threat of everything outside this village and it led to all these deaths. For that I'm so sorry.
But I promise, no more. Soon, I will use an ancient power of mine and turn this village into a massive and thriving town. I can't explain how I will do it, but I will. Any threat to you lot will be met with immediate death to our enemies. May the dead rest in peace, I'm sure one day, you'll meet them again. But not until its from old age."
After this, Henrik once again teleported but this time to the tent Ranga was being treated in. When he appeared, he saw a hobgoblin named RickyAsh who was trying to treat Ranga with limited resources. Both RickyAsh and Rigur, who was standing in a little corner to the left, saluted to Henrik and gave him a clear path to Ranga.
"Lord Henrik, I'm sorry. By the time me and my group got there, Ranga was already..." Rigur began to explain before Henrik intervened, "It's ok Rigur. Even if you were with us there's little you could've done. Our enemy was that powerful. In fact, if you were there all that would've meant is I lost more people, and I truly don't think I possess the power to bury anymore."
Henrik then walked towards Ranga and sat next to him. After a quick examination, it was clear that without help, Ranga was certain to die. The chunk of ice was lodged against an artery and liver, it reached so far deep that it punctured one of his lungs. If it wasn't for his determination to see his master again, he'd already be dead.
"Lord Henrik, he passed out a few minutes before you arrived," RickyAsh addressed Henrik, "He's been passing out for a while. But when he was conscious, all he did was try to get up and come to your aid. I'm afraid I've done everything I can. I'm truly sorry to have to tell you this, but I don't think he's gonna make it."
Then, Henrik began to cry. The thought of losing Ranga is what sent him into an uncontrollable rage before, but now with no Velzard to take it out on, all he could do is cry at the thought.
"It's ok Ricky, you've done everything you can. That's all I would ever ask," Henrik assured his subordinate with a smile before returning his focus to Ranga.
"Oh Ranga, you stupid dog, even now I can sense you're still fighting to come save me. I'm truly lucky to have such a friend. But don't worry, I'm here now. Now it's my turn to run to save you," Henrik cried as he ran his hands through Ranga's mane.
Since he first became Ranga's master and united the goblins and wolves, Henrik had spent almost every second with Ranga. They'd eaten together, laughed, cried, relaxed, almost every moment for the last few weeks was just Henrik and Ranga together. Their bond had grown so strong that it surpassed any friendship Henrik had in his old life. And he'd do anything to preserve it.
'Raphael, if I evolve him, what can I evolve him into?'
[Answer: Your ultimate skill Darwin, Lord of Evolution allows you to evolve creatures into anything you wish, completely breaking any limitations. So if you wished, you could evolve a human into a devil lord or a lesser daemon into a seraph.
Your ultimate skill also allows you to create new evolutions that hadn't previously existed]
'Good, Ranga deserves to be one of a kind. Can I add traits from other races to the new evolution?'
[Answer: You can add any traits from another being to an evolution. However, you must know of that being and the trait in great detail]
'Ok, let's create an evolution for Ranga. I know I said I'd limit this ability and I will, but this is Ranga. I can't loose my best friend, not again.
The species will be named Divine Friendship Direwolf. It is achieved when a direwolf manages to achieve divinity and evolves while willing to live for the sake of a friend. Create some fitting Intrinsic skills for it.
I want the evolution to be comparable to a True Dragon, so if I'm ever away and Veldora starts a fight, Ranga can handle him. I want him to have so much power, even Guy Crimson struggles to beats him, and that's when Ranga doesn't have an ultimate skill. I want his body to be able to withstand [Imaginary Collapse] for a short time.
Finally, I want to add the resurrection power of Noire, the Black Primordial, so if he dies, he'll come back instantly.
As for the forced loyalty, I'm not sure how much more loyal he can be, so increase it as little as possible.'
[Details confirmed, evolving subordinate Ranga into Divine Friendship Direwolf. Initialising process...
Process will be complete in three days]
'So another limit of it is that it takes days for evolutions. At least ultimate skill awakening is instant. Still, I really need to make sure not to abuse this, Veldanava trusted me with it. Last thing I want is for him to come back to see his world was destroyed because I kept evolving everything.'
Henrik then got up and turned to the goblins, "It's gonna be fine, Ranga will pull through, and he'll be stronger than ever. Trust me, we just need to let him rest."
Despite the grim look of Ranga's body, both Rigur and RickyAsh believed Henrik's words that Ranga would be ok. With that they left to let him rest and Henrik placed a Barrier up around the tent, both to make sure no one could disturb the evolution, and to ensure if Ranga's body did die, his soul would stay and still evolve. The chances of it happening were slim but Henrik wanted to cover all bases.
"Ok. It's time. The capitol of our nation will now be made."
And with that, all the goblins and wolves around looked in absolute bewilderment as Henrik used [Veldanava, God of Creation] to create a whole city. And in the middle of it, a massive castle he named the Castle Of The Fallen Ice, in remembrance of those who gave their lives with the intention of saving his. With the castle, he would ensure no one in the country, or even the world, would ever forget the ones he lost. And it would serve as a reminder that anyone who harmed his subordinates, well I'd be arrested for telling you what would happen to them.
This was the true beginning of a world of peace, not that the goal would be achieved easily, that would be a boring tale to tell.

Hi, Omni_God2000 here.
Just wanted to say that yesterday, I had a hater just shit on the story. Now, I did block him and remove his comments so I wanted to clarify something. If you have a problem with the story or want clarification on something, just ask. If you disagree with something I put because it's not cannon, please just point it out and I'll be happy to explain my reasoning behind that decision as best I can.
However, when your criticism (If it can be called that) is "sort this shit out," with no actual feedback, it will be removed as there's no need for such negativity without reason. So please, if you want to have a discussion about something in the story, I'm beyond happy to, but I won't accept pure hate towards my work, that just unmotivated me and spreads the wrong message to other potential readers about my story.
Also, I know the World Language doesn't give details but that's just a small change I made so I can tell you what skills will be in ultimate's, at least if Henrik changes them slightly from cannon.
Sorry if this seemed whiny but I just wanted to clarify that.
Finally, I'd like to announce that I've started a twitch. It's the same name as my Webnovel account so if you'd like to join that, please do I'd love to see you there. I'll just be playing games and engaging with chat. So that's be the best way to properly speak with me about the book if you want.
Thank you so much for reading, sorry to be so negative in the afterword and stay tuned for more.
